Fires when today's distance falls below the minimum distance in the last 10 valid starts by more than 220 yards. A horse that has never run as short as today's distance may lack the early-burst acceleration that sprints require. This is less common than STRETCHING_OUT but carries similar uncertainty: the horse is being asked to perform a distance task it has no demonstrated experience handling.
