Pick Pony Handicapper Report — Delaware Park, June 6, 2026

Fast main track, firm-to-good turf. Speed bias on dirt favors pressers and stalkers; inside posts premium on turf routes. Thirteen-horse field in Race 5 and eleven in Race 7 create complex pace scenarios — post position and trip luck are critical in both.

Race 1 — 1320f | Dirt | Claiming $25,000

Sometime (6) is the top selection, offering fair value at 2-1 with a clean outside stalk and a favorable pace scenario if Worker Bee (2) draws pressure. Ball Of Fire (1) is the best secondary choice at 6-1 if it breaks cleanly from the rail. Italian Wine (7) at 8-1 is the longshot worth including in trifectas.

Race 2 — 1210f | Dirt | Claiming $6,250 NW1Y

Float On (4) gets the nod over co-favorite Newyearsblockparty (2) based on post position and jockey form, though the two are nearly inseparable on paper. Vanzzy (6) at 4-1 is the most interesting secondary choice with room to run from the outside in a six-horse field.

Race 3 — 1830f | Turf | Optional Claiming $25,000

Bint Mischief (8) is the top selection despite the wide draw, supported by a strong trainer-jockey combination on the turf. Phoebeinwonderland (2) at 2-1 is equally dangerous from the ideal inside post and could easily reverse the order. High View (5) at 4-1 with Ashton up is the best value alternative, and Knowledge Is Good (1) at 5-1 from the rail deserves exotic inclusion.

Race 4 — 1320f | Dirt | Allowance NW1X

Embrace The Moment (6) is the narrow top choice from the outside post in a three-way 2-1 split, with the cleanest run and tactical flexibility. Candy Talking (4) and Sina (1) are equally live and should be used underneath in exactas. Java Tales (5) at 12-1 is the standout longshot if the pace between the three favorites becomes contested.

Race 5 — 1650f | Turf | Allowance NW1X

Card Trick (9) is the 2-1 favorite and a reasonable top selection, but Lordship (12) at 10-1 for trainer H. Graham Motion is the best overlay on the entire card and deserves a separate win ticket. Tunisian Spring (7) and Double Neat (5) at 4-1 each are solid secondary choices, while Lundi Loot (10) at 12-1 and Go Grey (1) from the rail are the best longshot inclusions in trifectas.

Race 6 — 1760f | Dirt | Optional Claiming $50,000 NW3L

Tracking Error (5) at 1-1 is the card's most reliable single and the recommended exotic banker — straight win value is limited but the form edge appears genuine. Call Me Andy (2) at 2-1 is the main danger from a prime stalking position, and Temecula (3) at 3-1 is worth using underneath in the exacta. Amy's Music (4) at 4-1 rounds out the short but competitive field.

Race 7 — 1870f | Turf | Optional Claiming $20,000

Baytown Parfait (6) is the top selection at 4-1, combining ideal post position with a barn sending out three turf runners today in excellent form. Cloud Music (11) at 2-1 is the morning line favorite but faces a difficult outside draw at this extended distance. Magical Ways (4) at 5-1 and King's River (9) at 4-1 are both live, and Embrace My Uncle (2) at 8-1 from post 2 on the turf is the best deep exotic play.

Race 8 — 1320f | Dirt | Maiden Special Weight

Hard Freeze (6) is the narrow top choice at 2-1 from a barn running three horses in three consecutive races, with Just Jo Jo (7) equally dangerous from the outside post — both are legitimate and should be boxed in exactas. Lexington Pike (4) at 4-1 is the most compelling secondary choice, and Rum Rock (5) at 8-1 is worth a small trifecta inclusion if the pace collapses.
