Horseshoe Indianapolis — Pick Pony Quick Card, June 24, 2026

Fast or good main track, firm to good turf, no precipitation expected. Inside posts carry advantage on both surfaces, especially in full-field turf events. The Late Double (Races 8–9) runs at 15% takeout — the best structural wager on the card.

Race 1

Top: El Jovero (5). Secondary: Mister Spitfire (4). Longshot: Ooh My Bob (1). Even-money favorite has the edge in a thin maiden claimer field; Mister Spitfire (4) is the logical stalker from a clean post. Ooh My Bob (1) worth including underneath in trifectas.

Race 2

Top: Leafology (2). Secondary: Don't Look Back (5), Freak City (4). Even-money rail runner controls this one-mile claimer; value is in the exotics rather than the win pool. Synoptic (1) at 8-1 is a trifecta add.

Race 3

Top: Choate (4). Secondary: Oak Alley (7), Funs Lil Sis (9). Best value bet of the card — inside post in a 13-horse turf mile at 6-1 is a structural overlay. Fifth Wheel (12) and Super Costly (10) round out trifecta and superfecta coverage.

Race 4

Top: Texas Free (4). Secondary: Mitch (6), Commander Storm (3). Klopp's favorite has every positional advantage in this six-furlong allowance; Mitch (6) at 3-1 from the outside is the main price threat. Dauwe (1) and Stranger's Church (5) are trifecta fillers if the pace heats up.

Race 5

Top: Amani's Music (1). Secondary: Veola (2), Princess Huxley (6). Brad Cox shipping to Horseshoe Indy with a maiden turf entrant from the rail is the strongest trainer angle of the day. Princess Huxley (6) at 8-1 is the best trifecta value in the race; Les (3) is a secondary add.

Race 6

Top: Tainted Justice (1). Secondary: Engine Sol (3), Quaint (4). Rail post in a 14-horse turf mile is an overwhelming structural advantage for the 2-1 favorite. Quaint (4) at 12-1 from a favorable inside post is the price play; My Lunar Charm (10) must be covered despite the wide draw.

Race 7

Top: Hot Middles (4). Secondary: Werk It Wendy (9), The Kid Pataky (8). Central post and a productive jockey make Hot Middles (4) the top selection in an open $100,000 sprint. Fat Chance (6) at 8-1 with a high-profile rider booking is the key longshot; Imagine The Moon (11) must be included in exotics despite the outside post.

Race 8

Top: Goodlookinjustice (3). Secondary: Goldwyn (10), Sleepy (4). Post 3 is a meaningful structural edge over the 2-1 favorite stuck on the outside in a 10-horse sprint; the 4-1 price is the best upset value on the card. Use both Goodlookinjustice (3) and Goldwyn (10) in the Late Double to capture the 15% takeout advantage. Latigo (9) at 10-1 is the value play within the Klopp barn.

Race 9

Top: Rock Hard Love (3). Secondary: Dash On Willie (5), Flyin Cowgirl (8). Cunningham's two-horse entry dominates the morning line in this 350-yard closer; Rock Hard Love (3) is the primary barn target. Flyin Cowgirl (8) at 5-1 completes the Late Double landing sequence alongside the Cunningham pair.
