Pick Pony Track Condition Report — Fairmount Park July 14, 2026

Track Surface & Bias: Fairmount Park's D dirt configuration typically rewards speed and inside positioning, especially when the surface is tight and drying or when rail-saving trips are available. In these conditions, front-runners and forward stalkers generally hold the edge, while deep closers often need a pace collapse or a genuine duel up front to make an impact. If the track has any moisture, the bias usually leans even more toward horses able to secure an early, efficient trip near the lead.
