Horseshoe Indianapolis — Race Day Overview: Thursday, July 30, 2026

Horseshoe Indianapolis (IND) offers a full 10-race card today with first post at 2:10 PM Eastern. The card spans multiple surfaces and distances, mixing dirt and turf routes with claiming, allowance, maiden, and quarter horse stakes action. This is a typical mid-summer regional card for Indy, though Race 7 and Race 10 jump out as headline events worth extended attention. Race 7 is a 46,240 allowance on the turf that draws a deep 15-horse field and features two Brad Cox runners, giving it a major-track feel. Race 10 closes the card with a $34,000 quarter horse stakes at 350 feet on the dirt, drawing a strong 13-horse field of straightaway specialists.

Saratoga was rained out on Wednesday, July 29, per current reporting from In The Money Media, which may redirect sharp money toward mid-tier regional cards like today's Horseshoe card. The Horseshoe Indianapolis $5 Late Double covering Races 8 and 9 was highlighted by handicappers ahead of Wednesday's card, and that same structure returns today. The Rainbow 6 at Gulfstream continues to build as a carryover play, but regional bettors will find value in Indy's exotics today, particularly in the turf routes where fields are deeper.

Weather and Track Conditions

As of race day morning, the Indianapolis area is experiencing typical late-July conditions with temperatures expected in the upper 80s to near 90 degrees Fahrenheit, with high humidity consistent with the Ohio Valley summer pattern. A slight chance of afternoon showers exists later in the card, consistent with the weather pattern noted across the region this week. The ITM Telegraph noted just the slightest bit of weather in the regional area for the Presque Isle card on Monday, and similar marginal conditions are present today in central Indiana.

The Horseshoe Indianapolis main track is a fast dirt surface under normal summer maintenance, and should be listed at FAST or GOOD going into the card. If any afternoon moisture arrives, the surface could shift to GOOD or WET-FAST by the later races, most likely affecting Races 8 and 9.

The turf course at Horseshoe Indianapolis has been in active use through the summer meet. Based on the current meet cycle and typical mid-summer Indy turf conditions, the course should be rated FIRM to GOOD, which favors horses with proven turf form and penalizes those who have only shown their best on softer going. Races 5, 7, and 9 are all contested on the turf, and turf surface shading toward firm will favor closers who can sit off a contested pace and finish through.

Track and Post Position Bias

Horseshoe Indianapolis features a tight, bullring-style dirt track that rewards early speed and rail-side positioning, particularly at sprint distances. One-turn sprint races at 1320 feet (six furlongs) strongly favor horses that can clear early and control the pace from inside posts or press from just off the pace without burning too much ground on the turns. Posts 1 through 4 have historically performed well in six-furlong dirt sprints here, and horses breaking from outside posts at six furlongs need to work harder to establish position.

At longer dirt distances, specifically the 1760-foot routes in Races 2 and 8, the track's configuration gives an edge to horses that can settle early and save ground around the far turn. The inside rail at route distances is a legitimate advantage, but horses with natural closing ability and tactical speed have performed well from mid-range posts as well.

On the turf course, inside posts at 1870 feet (approximately 1 1/16 miles) have historically been valuable, though the nature of turf racing at this track places a premium on stalking trips and late runs. In the 11-post turf sprint at 1100 feet in Race 9, inside posts are ideal as there is limited room to maneuver in short-field grass sprints. In the larger turf route fields like Race 5 and the 15-horse Race 7, horses from posts 8 and beyond need a clear stalking trip to be effective.

Quarter horse racing at 350 feet in Race 10 is entirely about gate speed and a straight run to the wire. Post position carries moderate importance, with the middle gates generally considered neutral. Outside gates are mildly disadvantageous due to the slight angle of some starting configurations, though at this distance the difference is marginal.

Race-by-Race Analysis

RACE 1 — Post (2:10) — 1320f | D | C | Clm 15000n2l | BUM | Purse $18,500

This is a six-furlong maiden claiming sprint for fillies and mares, nonwinners of two lifetime, with a claiming price of $15,000. Eight fillies go to the gate in this opener. The condition restricts the field to horses that have not won two races, and the $15,000 tag indicates lightly raced or underperforming stock.

Race 1

Pace Analysis

With Bebecita (POST 8), That'smydaughter (POST 1), and Lotta Latte (POST 6) all showing early speed tendencies in their past performances, the early pace here figures to be contested and possibly honest for this level. That'smydaughter (POST 1) has the rail advantage and the backing of trainer Raymond Paquette, who also sends out Lotta Latte (POST 6) from Post 6. A barn duplicating runners in the same race often means one is a setup horse, and the inside runner typically draws more attention. If multiple horses force the pace through the first quarter, a stalker or mild presser could be sitting in a perfect position turning for home. The pace scenario favors a horse with tactical flexibility rather than pure front-end speed.

Key Contenders

Liz's Legacy (POST 2) opens at 2-1 on the morning line, indicating she is the clear public choice. Trained by Robert Gorham and piloted by Mitchell Murrill, this filly carries significant weight of expectation. Murrill is a sharp rider who is not often sent to Horseshoe Indianapolis on horses without a legitimate shot, and Gorham is a trainer who spots horses carefully at the claiming level. Liz's Legacy (POST 2) has the second post with easy access to the pace and should be forwardly placed throughout. The 2-1 morning line reflects genuine confidence from the connections, and she is the horse to beat.

Bebecita (POST 8) is co-listed at 4-1 with That'smydaughter (POST 1). Trained by Martin Reyes and ridden by Jose Ramos Gutierrez, she draws the outside post which is a mild negative in a six-furlong sprint, but horses with natural early speed can overcome the post by simply outrunning the field to the first turn. If she can clear and put distance between herself and the field through the early fractions, she becomes a serious threat. The 4-1 price makes her interesting as a win alternative to the favorite.

Secondary Choices

That'smydaughter (POST 1) at 4-1 has the rail and the Paquette barn in her corner. The dual-entry situation with stablemate Lotta Latte (POST 6) could mean she is the less preferred runner, but the inside post at six furlongs is a real asset and her morning line makes her a legitimate contender rather than a secondary choice in terms of ability. She should be included in exotic plays.

Lotta Latte (POST 6) at 5-1 is the second Paquette runner, ridden by Samuel Bermudez. Horses from a barn that doubles up in a maiden claimer are sometimes lightly regarded, but five-to-one is a fair price if she runs to her best effort. She figures as a useful exacta bottom.

Longshots

Timeless Justice (POST 4) at 8-1 is trained by Chaz Rechy, a name that appears on this card in a minor capacity. Sarah's Smiles (POST 7) at 8-1 is trained by Tianna Richardville, who is active on today's card. Total Luna Eclipse (POST 5) at 10-1 is the Devarus Douglass trainee and should be used only in wide exotics. Appeazing (POST 3) at 12-1 trained by Aaron West is a severe outsider in this spot.

Selections

Win: Liz's Legacy (POST 2) Place: Bebecita (POST 8) Show: That'smydaughter (POST 1)

Betting Strategy: Single Liz's Legacy (POST 2) on top of the exacta and use Bebecita (POST 8) and That'smydaughter (POST 1) underneath. The 2-1 morning line likely compresses further at post time, so the exacta with the 4-1 shots underneath is the best value play in this race.

RACE 2 — Post (2:41) — 1760f | D | C | Clm 10000b | BUN | Purse $17,000

One-mile dirt claiming route at $10,000 for horses that have broken their maiden. Seven go to the gate. This is a competitive lower-claiming field at a route distance where tactical pace management and breeding matter.

Race 2

Pace Analysis

El Michoacano (POST 6) at 2-1 is the clear public choice and likely the pace setup here. The route distance should allow for a more honest early pace than a sprint. If El Michoacano (POST 6) is as fast early as his morning line suggests, the question is whether he can sustain that speed around two turns. House Of Gold (POST 5) and Benny's Day (POST 4) also figure to be involved early or mid-pack. Routes at this level tend to set up for horses that press from second or third position, and the pace should be honest enough that a closer has a legitimate opportunity.

Key Contenders

El Michoacano (POST 6) at 2-1 is trained by Antonio Duran and ridden by Santo Sanjur. The 2-1 morning line makes this horse the definitive public choice. Duran is a respected name at this circuit level, and the post 6 draw at one mile is workable. The concern is always whether a heavy public favorite at a regional track is truly that much better than the field or simply a case of morning-line bias. He must be respected but may not offer sufficient value for a single win bet.

Benny's Day (POST 4) at 4-1 is trained by Joseph Davis, who runs multiple horses on today's card and is clearly the most active trainer present. Davis is a high-volume operator at this level who wins with a respectable percentage when he aims horses at spots. Benny's Day (POST 4) is ridden by Alex Achard, a capable regional jockey who gets on good horses. The 4-1 price on a Davis/Achard combination at a one-mile route is worth serious consideration.

Secondary Choices

House Of Gold (POST 5) at 4-1 is trained by Tianna Richardville and ridden by Joseph Ramos. Richardville appears multiple times on this card and is clearly comfortable at this venue. A 4-1 shot in a seven-horse field at the route distance is a fair price and House Of Gold (POST 5) should attract exacta support.

Crab Crunch (POST 3) at 4-1 trained by Miguel Silva with Hannah Leahey aboard is an interesting three-way tie in the morning line along with Benny's Day (POST 4) and House Of Gold (POST 5), which speaks to how open this race is beyond the favorite.

Longshots

Q's Topnotch (POST 2) at 5-1 trained by Genaro Garcia with Amir Mendoza is not far off at this price given Garcia's activity level on today's card. Mystery Impact (POST 7) at 10-1 trained by Dawn Fontenot with Marcelino Pedroza could outrun the price in a field where no one stands out clearly. Gimmel (POST 1) at 12-1 from the rail is a Mullins trainee who faces a difficult assignment but is worth a token inclusion in deeper multi-race wagers.

Selections

Win: El Michoacano (POST 6) Place: Benny's Day (POST 4) Show: House Of Gold (POST 5)

Betting Strategy: Use El Michoacano (POST 6) as the top of the exacta but include Benny's Day (POST 4) and House Of Gold (POST 5) in win alternatives. The three-way morning-line tie at 4-1 suggests a genuinely open race. A trifecta box using El Michoacano (POST 6), Benny's Day (POST 4), and House Of Gold (POST 5) is an inexpensive approach.

RACE 3 — Post (3:12) — 1320f | D | C | Clm 20000n2l | BUN | Purse $32,640

Six-furlong dirt sprint at $20,000 claiming for nonwinners of two lifetime. The purse here at $32,640 is one of the better-paying claiming sprints on the card, drawing a competitive eight-horse field. This race has the feel of a well-contested sprint with a morning-line favorite that could be vulnerable.

Race 3

Pace Analysis

Multiple horses project as potential pace setters in this sprint. Ship Serve (POST 8) at 4-1 is trained by Randy Klopp, who is active on today's card with multiple runners, and Burgos aboard often pushes horses forward. Horsetron Supreme (POST 1) at 6-1 from the rail has an ideal post for a front-runner. Dauwe (POST 4) at 2-1 is the heavy morning-line choice and regardless of running style will be a factor early. A contested pace scenario in a six-furlong sprint at this level typically favors a closer with a big turn of foot, and Judge Hernandez (POST 5) fits that profile if the pace heats up early.

Key Contenders

Dauwe (POST 4) at 2-1 is trained by Esteban Gordillo and ridden by Summer Pauly. The 2-1 morning line is the most aggressive on this race and suggests Gordillo and connections feel this horse is ready to dominate. Post 4 is the ideal draw in a six-furlong dirt sprint, and if Dauwe (POST 4) can get a clean break and sit just off the pace, he could be very difficult to beat at the top of the stretch. The concern is the relatively modest morning-line price in what looks like an open race.

Judge Hernandez (POST 5) at 4-1 trained by Colby Williams and ridden by Alexander Crispin is the horse handicappers have identified as the primary threat to the favorite. The post 5 draw is solid in a sprint, and Williams is a capable conditioner at this level. Crispin is a capable apprentice or journeyman who can situate a horse properly. If pace develops honestly up front, Judge Hernandez (POST 5) could run right past tiring leaders.

Secondary Choices

Ship Serve (POST 8) at 4-1 trained by Randy Klopp with Alberto Burgos aboard is a legitimate threat from the outside post. Klopp sends out multiple runners today, suggesting he is in sharp form and Ship Serve (POST 8) is his best claim. Outside posts in six-furlong sprints are not ideal but manageable with early speed.

Horsetron Supreme (POST 1) at 6-1 trained by Ethan West and ridden by Alex Achard has the rail advantage and genuine early pace potential. Achard is a busy rider on this card and if he can get Horsetron Supreme (POST 1) out of the gate cleanly, the inside post could be decisive.

Longstrider (POST 3) at 6-1 trained by Genaro Garcia and ridden by Amir Mendoza is another Garcia runner to monitor. Garcia is one of the more active trainers today and Mendoza is his go-to jockey.

Longshots

The Exodus Twist (POST 2) at 8-1 trained by Rogelio Labra with Irving Moncada is a price play worth noting if there is a pace collapse. Whatnowdaddy (POST 7) at 15-1 trained by John Haran with Jose Ramos Gutierrez could be a deep ticket inclusion. Dreaming Smart (POST 6) at 20-1 trained by Joseph Davis is unlikely to factor at this long price but Davis is active today.

Selections

Win: Dauwe (POST 4) Place: Judge Hernandez (POST 5) Show: Ship Serve (POST 8)

Betting Strategy: Dauwe (POST 4) is the play to win, but at 2-1 the exacta underneath with Judge Hernandez (POST 5) offers better value. Use Horsetron Supreme (POST 1) as a third option in trifectas given the rail advantage.

RACE 4 — Post (3:43) — 1320f | D | C | Clm 7500n2l | BUN | Purse $15,000

Six-furlong dirt sprint at $7,500 claiming, nonwinners of two lifetime. Eight horses go postward in this bottom-level sprint where class consistency and trainer intent matter more than subtle speed figure angles. The morning line shows two co-favorites at 2-1.

Race 4

Pace Analysis

Special Creed (POST 1) and Mega Wich (POST 3) are both listed at 2-1, which is highly unusual for a maiden claiming sprint and suggests the morning-line handicapper sees a legitimate dual threat. The pace in this race could be honest to fast, particularly if Special Creed (POST 1) from the rail tries to wire the field and Mega Wich (POST 3) presses. If both engage early, El Payasito (POST 6) and Mi Sargento (POST 2) could benefit from a pace duel by tracking and closing late.

Key Contenders

Special Creed (POST 1) at 2-1 is trained by Michelle Elliott and ridden by Fernando De La Cruz. Elliott is a trainer who appears in multiple races on this card and clearly is comfortable at Horseshoe Indianapolis. De La Cruz is a seasoned rider who excels in sprints and the inside post gives Special Creed (POST 1) a natural advantage. The 2-1 morning line indicates she is considered at least the equal of her co-favorite and the rail is a significant asset in a sprint at this level.

Mega Wich (POST 3) at 2-1 is trained by Randy Klopp and ridden by Micah Meeks. Klopp has multiple runners on this card today and Mega Wich (POST 3) is one of his primary tools. The post 3 draw is excellent in a six-furlong sprint, and Meeks is an experienced regional rider. Two horses at 2-1 in a field of eight often means one of them pulls away late and the exacta pays generously.

Secondary Choices

El Payasito (POST 6) at 4-1 trained by Genaro Garcia and ridden by Amir Mendoza represents Garcia's third entry on the card across multiple races and the trainer is clearly in form. At 4-1, El Payasito (POST 6) is the best-priced alternative if the co-favorites neutralize each other in the early pace battle. Mendoza's ability to rate a horse and save ground makes this an intriguing spot.

Mi Sargento (POST 2) at 6-1 trained by Terry Vaughn with Marcelino Pedroza gets the outside-of-the-rail draw which is not ideal in a sprint, but 6-1 odds on a horse that could press the pace is legitimate value if the two favorites struggle.

Longshots

Show Me Justice (POST 5) at 10-1 trained by Cipriano Contreras with Alexander Crispin could be a live longer price. Angel's Legacy (POST 7) at 15-1 trained by Miguel Silva with Hannah Leahey is the stablemate in form. El Siereno (POST 4) at 15-1 trained by Amara Kranz with Evin Roman is a deep outsider. Rockstar Justice (POST 8) at 20-1 trained by Joseph Davis with Alex Achard is worth noting only because Davis wins with his lower-priced horses, but 20-1 is too far back in this spot.

Selections

Win: Special Creed (POST 1) Place: Mega Wich (POST 3) Show: El Payasito (POST 6)

Betting Strategy: The 2-1 co-favorite exacta of Special Creed (POST 1) over Mega Wich (POST 3) and vice versa is the core play. Add El Payasito (POST 6) as a trifecta bottom. If both favorites run even fractions, look for El Payasito (POST 6) to close.

RACE 5 — Post (4:14) — 1870f | T | A | Alw 43000n2x | BUM | Purse $43,000

Turf route at approximately 1 1/16 miles, allowance condition for fillies and mares nonwinners of two other than maiden or claiming. Nine runners go to the gate in what is the best distaff turf route on the card and an excellent wagering race. The allowance condition at $43,000 indicates genuine class here.

Race 5

Pace Analysis

Screamin Nina (POST 2) at 2-1 is the favorite and likely the controlling speed in this race. At 1870 feet on the turf, an honest pace that stretches out the field over the distance is likely. Spooky Ridge (POST 3) and Midnight Caper (POST 5) are both listed at 4-1 and figure as stalkers who can track the pace and challenge in the stretch. If Screamin Nina (POST 2) is truly dominant on the front end without a challenger, she wires the field. However, a contested pace on the turf at this distance typically sets up the closers, and Get Even Kid (POST 9) and Skippinjustice (POST 7) could both sweep by late.

Key Contenders

Screamin Nina (POST 2) at 2-1 is trained by Steve Fosdick and ridden by Irving Moncada. The 2-1 morning line in a nine-horse turf route reflects strong confidence in this mare's ability. Fosdick is a regional trainer who spots horses well and Moncada is an active rider on this card. The post 2 draw in a turf route is excellent, allowing Screamin Nina (POST 2) to save ground throughout while controlling the pace from a clean position.

Get Even Kid (POST 9) at 4-1 is trained by John Haran and ridden by Alberto Burgos. Haran has runners at various levels today and Get Even Kid (POST 9) carries the barn's turf hopes. At 4-1, this horse offers genuine value if the pace develops honestly over the 1870 feet. Outside posts in turf routes at Horseshoe Indianapolis are manageable for closers, and Burgos is a competent rider who can angle for position.

Secondary Choices

Spooky Ridge (POST 3) at 4-1 trained by John Langemeier with Joseph Ramos is an interesting pairing. Ramos is a veteran who reads turf races well and Spooky Ridge (POST 3) from Post 3 has a near-ideal draw for a pressing type. If this horse can sit just off Screamin Nina (POST 2) throughout and make a sustained run, the 4-1 price is fair.

Midnight Caper (POST 5) at 4-1 trained by Robert Gorham and ridden by Santo Sanjur is the same barn that sends out Liz's Legacy (POST 2) in Race 1. Gorham aims his horses accurately and Midnight Caper (POST 5) at 4-1 in a turf route from Post 5 has a workable draw for a horse with tactical speed.

Skippinjustice (POST 7) at 8-1 trained by Agustin Gonzalez Jr. with Alex Achard is a live price horse at 8-1. Achard is one of the most active riders today and Gonzalez is a capable regional conditioner.

Longshots

Prettyontheprarie (POST 1) at 6-1 is one of three Holden runners and has the rail. Jay Holden also sends out Tamarac Square (POST 6) at 15-1 and Flowered (POST 8) at 12-1. Among the three, Prettyontheprarie (POST 1) has the best draw and is the most likely Holden representative to factor. Gonnagetchagetcha (POST 4) at 20-1 is a Richardville entry at a price that reflects longshot status. Flowered (POST 8) at 12-1 with Bermudez aboard is worth a look in exotics given the Holden connection, but the outside post is a negative.

Selections

Win: Screamin Nina (POST 2) Place: Get Even Kid (POST 9) Show: Spooky Ridge (POST 3)

Betting Strategy: Single Screamin Nina (POST 2) on top of the exacta and use Get Even Kid (POST 9) and Spooky Ridge (POST 3) underneath. A trifecta wheel using Screamin Nina (POST 2) on top with Get Even Kid (POST 9), Spooky Ridge (POST 3), and Midnight Caper (POST 5) completing the bottom is the recommended approach. This is one of the better wagering races on the card.

RACE 6 — Post (4:45) — 1320f | D | M | Md 7500 | BUM | Purse $14,500

Six-furlong maiden claiming sprint at $7,500 for fillies and mares. Ten horses enter in what is the largest field on the dirt portion of the card. This race is difficult to handicap given the low claiming price and large field but offers exotic value if the right horses are identified.

Race 6

Pace Analysis

Staymistyforme (POST 6) at 2-1 is the clear public choice, and at a $7,500 maiden claimer for fillies, the favorite here could simply be a class edge over inexperienced competition. Gone To Far (POST 3) at 4-1 and Lavish Justice (POST 7) at 4-1 are the two closest challengers in the morning line and both figure to be pace-involved. Ten fillies in a six-furlong maiden sprint will produce some early chaos, and pace management will be critical for De La Cruz aboard the favorite.

Key Contenders

Staymistyforme (POST 6) at 2-1 is trained by Tim Eggleston and ridden by Fernando De La Cruz. Eggleston also sends out Takeitandrun (POST 9) in Race 8 later today, suggesting the barn is firing on multiple cylinders. De La Cruz is one of the more skilled riders on this card and in a wide-open maiden sprint at the bottom of the claiming ladder, a capable jockey on the 2-1 morning line favorite is a significant edge. Post 6 in a ten-horse sprint is workable with early speed.

Lavish Justice (POST 7) at 4-1 trained by Lilia Gonzalez and ridden by Joseph Romero is the second 4-1 chance and offers solid exacta value. Gonzalez is a trainer who tends to spot horses accurately and Lavish Justice (POST 7) from Post 7 in a ten-horse field has a manageable draw. Romero is a veteran who has been active at this meet.

Secondary Choices

Gone To Far (POST 3) at 4-1 trained by Randy Klopp and ridden by Alberto Burgos is the Klopp runner in this race. Klopp is active throughout today's card and the 4-1 price reflects real expectations. Post 3 is an excellent draw in a sprint, and Burgos aboard a Klopp horse at 4-1 in a maiden claimer is a legitimate wagering angle.

Nancy C (POST 5) at 5-1 trained by Jose Cazares and ridden by Joseph Bealmear is a modest price with a fair draw from Post 5. Cazares is a quieter presence on the card but Nancy C (POST 5) draws attention as a secondary value play.

Longshots

Higher Wish (POST 9) at 8-1 trained by Genaro Garcia with Marcelino Pedroza is Garcia's latest entry today and at 8-1, a Garcia/Pedroza combination is worth including in exotics. Chelle Shocked (POST 10) at 8-1 trained by John Haran with Amir Mendoza is the outermost post but a fair price for the Haran runner. Lo Machar (POST 2) at 20-1 trained by Scott Mullins with Micah Meeks, Best Hat (POST 4) at 20-1 trained by Joseph Davis with Hannah Leahey, Sweet Memories (POST 1) at 30-1 trained by Devarus Douglass, and Never Ever (POST 8) at 30-1 trained by Scott Mullins are all deep outsiders in a race dominated by the top half of the morning line.

Selections

Win: Staymistyforme (POST 6) Place: Lavish Justice (POST 7) Show: Gone To Far (POST 3)

Betting Strategy: Staymistyforme (POST 6) and Lavish Justice (POST 7) are the core exacta. Include Gone To Far (POST 3) in trifecta plays. This is a good race to toss out the bottom half of the field and use a condensed trifecta box of the top four horses: Staymistyforme (POST 6), Lavish Justice (POST 7), Gone To Far (POST 3), and Nancy C (POST 5).

RACE 7 — Post (5:16) — 1760f | T | A | Alw 46240n1x | BUN | Purse $46,240

One-mile turf allowance for nonwinners of one other than maiden or claiming. This is the marquee race on the card with 15 runners, two Brad Cox entrants, a Kenneth McPeek runner, and what shapes up as the most competitive field of the day. The purse at $46,240 and the quality of the trainers involved make this the centerpiece wagering race.

Race 7

Pace Analysis

With 15 horses going one mile on the turf, the early pace will depend heavily on who takes the field to the first turn cleanly. He's Late Again (POST 13) at 2-1 is the morning-line co-favorite alongside Shankar (POST 2) at 2-1, and both are Brad Cox and Tracey Wisner runners respectively who likely have different running styles. Chicory Blaze (POST 1) at 3-1 from the rail bears watching as a potential pace setter or pressers from the inside. In a 15-horse turf mile, the early pace almost always comes from the inside posts, and the race could develop into a front-end battle before the field strings out on the backstretch. Horses that can settle mid-pack from posts 4 through 10 and make one sustained run around the far turn have historically done well in large-field turf miles at regional tracks.

Key Contenders

He's Late Again (POST 13) at 2-1 is trained by Brad Cox, one of the premier trainers in American horse racing. Cox regularly wins at major meets including Saratoga and Churchill Downs, and when he points a horse toward a regional allowance, that runner is often overqualified for the spot. The 2-1 morning line in a 15-horse field is aggressive and reflects genuine talent. Marcelino Pedroza is aboard, a jockey with strong credentials and familiarity with Cox horses at mid-level meets. From Post 13, PEDROZA will need to angle for a good trip but Cox horses tend to have the class to overcome post-position disadvantages in turf routes.

Shankar (POST 2) at 2-1 is trained by Tracey Wisner and ridden by Joseph Romero. The Post 2 draw in a 15-horse turf mile is outstanding, saving significant ground throughout the race. Wisner is a trainer with solid credentials and 2-1 in a large field indicates genuine confidence. The inside draw and the co-favorite price make Shankar (POST 2) the most straightforward play in this race, even if He's Late Again (POST 13) is the more glamorous name.

Quality Mischief (POST 14) at 4-1 is the second Cox entry, ridden by Fernando De La Cruz, who has been one of the busiest and most accomplished riders on this entire card. A barn doubling up with two serious contenders means both deserve equal consideration, and De La Cruz getting the call on Quality Mischief (POST 14) is a meaningful rider assignment. Cox runners in allowance company are among the safest bets in American racing when the trainer is targeting a specific spot.

Secondary Choices

Chicory Blaze (POST 1) at 3-1 trained by Robert Dobbs Jr. with R. Prescott is a legitimate pace horse from the inside rail. The 3-1 price is the second-lowest on the morning line and Prescott from the inside post could control the entire race if allowed to dictate an uncontested pace. If Chicory Blaze (POST 1) gets to the lead without pressure and sets moderate fractions, this horse could be very hard to catch on the turf.

Explosively (POST 5) at 6-1 trained by Randy Matthews and ridden by Joseph Bealmear is an interesting mid-field runner at a fair price. Post 5 in a 15-horse turf mile is workable with a good break, and 6-1 on a horse with a legitimate trainer is real value if the pace heats up in front.

Executor (POST 7) at 10-1 trained by Chris Block with Mitchell Murrill is worth including in exotics. Murrill is one of the stronger riders on this card and Block is a capable conditioner who occasionally fires at this level.

Longshots

No More Cents (POST 12) at 30-1 trained by Kenneth McPeek is the most interesting longshot on the entire card. McPeek is a major-circuit trainer whose horses are often well-prepared and occasionally dramatically undervalued at regional meets. At 30-1 in a turf route, No More Cents (POST 12) with Emmanuel Esquivel deserves at minimum a trifecta inclusion. Handicappers should watch the tote carefully on this one.

Stolen Power (POST 11) at 20-1 trained by Colby Williams with Alex Achard is another longshot with a capable jockey that could factor. Hot Days Ahead (POST 3) at 20-1 trained by Dallas Stewart with Axel Concepcion is a Stewart runner at a long price, and Stewart is another quality regional-to-major circuit trainer worth noting. Global Quote (POST 15) at 8-1 trained by Cipriano Contreras from the outermost post with Evin Roman is a tough outside draw in a turf mile but the 8-1 price invites exacta interest. Oh Please (POST 10) at 12-1 trained by Michelle Elliott with Fernando De La Cruz draws attention because De La Cruz has the primary ride on Quality Mischief (POST 14), making Oh Please (POST 10) a secondary assignment at best. Right On Right On (POST 9) at 15-1 trained by Joseph Davis with Micah Meeks is the Davis representative at a fair price. Mackadoo (POST 8) at 15-1 trained by Daniel Simpson with Joseph Ramos is workable at the turf distance. Winery (POST 6) at 30-1 trained by Kristine Kaufeld with Cesar Orantes is a deep outsider. Penitent (POST 4) at 30-1 trained by Michelle Elliott with Amir Mendoza is unlikely to factor at this price.

Selections

Win: He's Late Again (POST 13) Place: Shankar (POST 2) Show: Quality Mischief (POST 14)

Betting Strategy: This is the Race of the Day for wagering purposes. The Brad Cox double entry is rare at this venue and suggests these horses are genuinely ready. He's Late Again (POST 13) is the top selection, but Shankar (POST 2) from the inside post is nearly as compelling. Use all three co-favorites and primary choices across the top of the exacta. In the trifecta, include No More Cents (POST 12) at 30-1 as a longshot bottom — the McPeek connection at 30-1 is too good to ignore. A recommended superfecta play: He's Late Again (POST 13) and Shankar (POST 2) on top, Quality Mischief (POST 14) and Chicory Blaze (POST 1) in the middle positions, and spread the bottom among No More Cents (POST 12), Explosively (POST 5), Executor (POST 7), and Global Quote (POST 15).

RACE 8 — Post (5:47) — 1760f | D | CO | OClm 10000 | BUN | Purse $23,120

One-mile optional claiming route at $10,000 for older horses (colts and geldings). Nine runners enter in what is a more competitive one-mile dirt route than Race 2. The purse at $23,120 is significantly higher than the straight claimer earlier and the field quality reflects that. The optional claiming condition means horses can run for a tag or not, and those opting not to be claimed are typically placing themselves at a class advantage.

Race 8

Pace Analysis

Takeitandrun (POST 9) at 2-1 is the morning-line favorite and trained by Tim Eggleston, who is active throughout today's card. This horse figures as either the controlling pace setter or the dominant presser at the route distance. Calycanthus (POST 3) at 3-1 is trained by S. Jade Cunningham and ridden by Gabriel Saez, a high-quality jockey for this level. Monumentaljustice (POST 8) at 5-1 and Pappy's Revenge (POST 1) at 4-1 round out the core pace scenario. In a nine-horse optional claiming mile on the dirt, the pace sets up for horses with stamina that can press from third or fourth and run through tiring leaders.

Key Contenders

Takeitandrun (POST 9) at 2-1 trained by Tim Eggleston with Fernando De La Cruz. The 2-1 morning line in a nine-horse optional claiming route makes this the straightforward top choice. Eggleston has Staymistyforme (POST 6) in Race 6 earlier and appears to be aiming multiple quality runners today. De La Cruz is among the most accomplished riders on this card and at the outside post in a one-mile dirt route, the goal will be to get position early through the first turn. The combination of favorite price, capable trainer, and top jockey makes Takeitandrun (POST 9) the most logical selection.

Calycanthus (POST 3) at 3-1 trained by S. Jade Cunningham and ridden by Gabriel Saez is the most intriguing horse in this race. Saez is a legitimate Grade 1 jockey who rides primarily at major tracks, and his appearance at Horseshoe Indianapolis on a 3-1 morning line horse in an optional claimer is significant. Whenever a top-tier jockey shows up at a regional meet, the barn is serious about winning. Cunningham is a capable trainer and the combination of Calycanthus (POST 3) at 3-1 with Saez in the irons makes this horse a genuine win candidate and perhaps the best value on the race.

Secondary Choices

Pappy's Revenge (POST 1) at 4-1 trained by Genaro Garcia with Amir Mendoza has the rail advantage in a one-mile route. Garcia's horses have appeared throughout this card, and Pappy's Revenge (POST 1) from the inside post with Mendoza is a solid each-way play.

Monumentaljustice (POST 8) at 5-1 trained by Tomas Medina with Santo Sanjur is the most interestingly named entry and carries solid form expectations at the optional claiming level. Post 8 in a nine-horse mile is workable.

Hedge (POST 6) at 8-1 trained by David Jacobson with R. Bejarano is a horse that deserves attention in the exotics. Bejarano is a well-traveled veteran jockey and Jacobson is a name known in racing circles. At 8-1 in an optional claiming mile, Hedge (POST 6) could outrun his morning line price.

Longshots

Star Review (POST 5) at 10-1 trained by Scott Mullins with Jose Ramos Gutierrez is a Mullins runner at a modest price. C V Shackles (POST 2) at 20-1 trained by Agustin Gonzalez Jr. with Alexander Crispin is a deep outsider. Loademupjustice (POST 7) at 30-1 trained by Brian Anderson with Micah Meeks is a terminal price outsider. Creek (POST 4) at 15-1 trained by Matt Kordenbrock with Joseph Ramos rounds out the longshot section.

Selections

Win: Calycanthus (POST 3) Place: Takeitandrun (POST 9) Show: Pappy's Revenge (POST 1)

Betting Strategy: Calycanthus (POST 3) over Takeitandrun (POST 9) in the exacta at roughly 3-1 and 2-1 respective prices is the core play. The Gabriel Saez angle on Calycanthus (POST 3) is the key overlay angle on this race. If Saez is here, this barn means business. Trifecta: Calycanthus (POST 3) and Takeitandrun (POST 9) on top, Pappy's Revenge (POST 1) and Hedge (POST 6) in the third slot.

RACE 9 — Post (6:18) — 1100f | T | C | Clm 30000b | BUN | Purse $38,080

Five-and-a-half furlong turf sprint at $30,000 claiming for horses that have broken their maiden. Nine horses run in what is the highest-claiming turf sprint on the card. The purse of $38,080 is among the better payouts on the card and attracts horses with genuine turf sprint credentials.

Race 9

Pace Analysis

Unbeatable (POST 5) at 3-1 is the morning-line choice and trained by Ethan West, who earlier sent out Horsetron Supreme (POST 1) in Race 3. At a 1100-foot turf sprint, the pace will be quick from the gate with multiple speed horses likely tracking up immediately. Boltage (POST 9) at 4-1 and Homie (POST 3) at 4-1 are both expected to be involved early. Surf City (POST 7) at 5-1 and King Of Sheba (POST 1) at 6-1 from the rail figure as pace pressers or stalkers. In a field of nine at 1100 feet on the turf, the best draw is the inside post and horses that can control their fractions without dueling will have an advantage down the short stretch.

Key Contenders

Unbeatable (POST 5) at 3-1 trained by Ethan West with Marcelino Pedroza is the morning-line choice with a solid draw from Post 5 in a nine-horse turf sprint. West is clearly firing at this meet with multiple runners and Unbeatable (POST 5) has the most compelling morning-line price to indicate genuine confidence from connections. Pedroza has been active on this card and his experience in turf sprints at this circuit is an asset.

Boltage (POST 9) at 4-1 trained by David Jacobson with R. Bejarano draws attention because Jacobson and Bejarano are paired on Hedge (POST 6) in Race 8 as well, indicating the barn has a solid day planned. At 4-1 from the outside post in a turf sprint, Boltage (POST 9) needs early speed to avoid being shuffled wide, but if Bejarano can get this horse into position through the first furlong, the 4-1 price could be very generous. The same connections that are live in Race 8 are again live here.

Homie (POST 3) at 4-1 trained by Ismael Bahena with Joseph Ramos is a well-positioned turf sprinter from Post 3. Ramos reads turf sprints well and Post 3 gives Homie (POST 3) a clean trip to the first turn. Bahena is a quieter trainer name but the 4-1 morning line is not based on public familiarity alone.

Secondary Choices

Surf City (POST 7) at 5-1 trained by Victoria Oliver with Mario Gutierrez is a horse with a legitimate price and a capable rider. Oliver is a smaller trainer presence but Surf City (POST 7) at 5-1 is worth including in exactas and trifectas. Gutierrez is a journeyman with turf sprint experience.

King Of Sheba (POST 1) at 6-1 trained by Larry Rivelli with R. Prescott draws the inside rail in a nine-horse turf sprint, which is significant. Rivelli is a well-established Midwest trainer and Prescott is a capable jockey. The rail in a 1100-foot turf sprint could be decisive if King Of Sheba (POST 1) can break well and maintain the inside path.

Longshots

Fear And Loathing (POST 8) at 12-1 trained by Tracey Wisner with Hannah Leahey is the Wisner turf runner after Shankar (POST 2) in Race 7 and could be live at a price. Utopian (POST 6) at 8-1 trained by Jose Camejo with Alberto Burgos is a modest outsider worth including in trifectas. Our Sliceof Heaven (POST 2) at 30-1 trained by Judy Mickelson with Orlando Mojica is a deep outsider. Maximus C (POST 4) at 30-1 trained by Agustin Gonzalez Jr. with Joseph Romero is a terminal price entrant.

Selections

Win: Unbeatable (POST 5) Place: Boltage (POST 9) Show: King Of Sheba (POST 1)

Betting Strategy: Unbeatable (POST 5) is the top choice but the Jacobson/Bejarano angle on Boltage (POST 9) makes the exacta of Unbeatable (POST 5) over Boltage (POST 9) a compelling play. King Of Sheba (POST 1) from the rail is the trifecta value option. Also consider using Homie (POST 3) in the trifecta given the solid post draw and fair odds.

RACE 10 — Post (6:46) — 350f | D | N | Stk 34k | AON | Purse $34,000

The card closes with a $34,000 quarter horse stakes at 350 feet on the dirt. Thirteen runners go to the gate in this all-out speed test. Quarter horse racing is a unique discipline where gate speed, straightaway ability, and breeding for the 350-foot distance are paramount. Post positions carry moderate importance at 350 feet as all horses run in essentially a straight line.

Race 10

Pace Analysis

At 350 feet, there is no tactical racing to speak of. Every horse breaks from the gate and runs as fast as possible to the wire in under 20 seconds. The entire race hinges on which horse has the fastest gate break, the best acceleration in the first 100 feet, and the ability to maintain top speed through the wire. Apollitical Fast (POST 4) at 2-1 and Cyber Affair (POST 10) at 4-1 are the morning-line choices, reflecting horses with the best combination of breeding, form, and connections for this distance.

Key Contenders

Apollitical Fast (POST 4) at 2-1 trained by Tony Cunningham and ridden by Luz Daniel Martinez is the clear morning-line choice. The Apollitical bloodline is one of the premier quarter horse breeding lines and the name itself is a significant signal of pedigree. Tony Cunningham is a trainer comfortable with stakes-level quarter horses and Apollitical Fast (POST 4) from Post 4 is a workable middle gate draw. The 2-1 morning line indicates strong confidence from connections.

Cyber Affair (POST 10) at 4-1 trained by Mallory Norton and ridden by Luis Eduardo Luna Diaz is the second morning-line choice. Norton trains both Cyber Affair (POST 10) and Miss Mollie (POST 2), suggesting a barn with multiple options today. Cyber Affair (POST 10) at 4-1 is the barn's preferred entry given the stronger jockey assignment.

Secondary Choices

Nachos Secret (POST 5) at 5-1 trained by Ricardo Martinez with Martin Munoz is an interesting mid-priced option from Post 5. The gate draw is center-field and favorable. Martinez is a quarter horse specialist and Nachos Secret (POST 5) at 5-1 carries legitimate expectations.

Favorite Lady 123 (POST 3) at 6-1 trained by Tim Eggleston with Rolando Del Rio Pina draws the attention of the Eggleston barn, which has been firing throughout today's card. Eggleston sending a runner to the quarter horse stakes is a notable angle. At 6-1 from Post 3, this is a fair price on a trainer in sharp form.

Blue Collar Cowboy (POST 7) at 8-1 trained by Karin Yike with Francisco Quintero is the second-tier morning line option and worth including in exotics.

Longshots

Revenant Declared (POST 11) at 15-1 trained by Tony Cunningham, Cunningham's second entry alongside Apollitical Fast (POST 4), is worth noting as a setup horse at 15-1. The Cunningham barn uses Revenant Declared (POST 11) as a secondary option. Gv Medio Million (POST 1) at 15-1 and Gv Kingstone (POST 6) at 15-1 are both trained by Claudio Barraza and Jessica Vazquez respectively and represent the fringe of this field. Flying Blonde 123 (POST 12) at 15-1 is the second Barraza entry alongside Gv Medio Million (POST 1). Ocean Master (POST 9) at 10-1 trained by Natasha Perez with Diego Villamil Bocanegra is a modest outsider worth a deep ticket inclusion. Apolitical Lady Wins (POST 8) at 20-1 trained by German Rodriguez is a deep outsider but note the similar bloodline signal in the name to Apollitical Fast (POST 4). Miss Mollie (POST 2) at 20-1 trained by Norton and A Hint Of Bad (POST 13) at 20-1 trained by Joseph Davis are deep longshots.

Selections

Win: Apollitical Fast (POST 4) Place: Cyber Affair (POST 10) Show: Nachos Secret (POST 5)

Betting Strategy: Apollitical Fast (POST 4) is the play to win based on pedigree and trainer confidence. The exacta of Apollitical Fast (POST 4) over Cyber Affair (POST 10) is the core bet. Include Nachos Secret (POST 5) and Favorite Lady 123 (POST 3) in trifecta plays. In a 13-horse straight dash, a condensed trifecta box is appropriate given the all-or-nothing nature of the distance.

Jockey Notes and Insights

Fernando De La Cruz is the standout rider on today's card. He picks up mounts in Race 1 on Appeazing (POST 3), Race 4 on Special Creed (POST 1), Race 6 on Staymistyforme (POST 6), Race 7 on Quality Mischief (POST 14), Race 8 on Takeitandrun (POST 9), and Race 7 also on Oh Please (POST 10). His primary call in the marquee Race 7 is on Quality Mischief (POST 14), the second Brad Cox entry, and that assignment alone signals his priority for the day. De La Cruz is a polished rider who handles both dirt and turf with equal skill, and bettors should view every horse he pilots today as a legitimate threat regardless of morning-line price.

Alex Achard is nearly as busy on this card, appearing in Race 2 on Benny's Day (POST 4), Race 3 on Horsetron Supreme (POST 1), Race 4 on Rockstar Justice (POST 8), Race 5 on Skippinjustice (POST 7), Race 7 on Stolen Power (POST 11), and Race 9 is not listed for him. Achard is a steady regional rider who wins at a consistent clip and his primary calls today are Benny's Day (POST 4) in Race 2 and Horsetron Supreme (POST 1) in Race 3, both of which are in competitive fields.

Gabriel Saez on Calycanthus (POST 3) in Race 8 is the single most significant jockey angle on the entire card. Saez is a national-caliber rider whose presence at Horseshoe Indianapolis commands immediate attention. When elite jockeys travel to regional tracks for a specific mount, that horse should be elevated to top selection status regardless of morning-line price.

Marcelino Pedroza rides He's Late Again (POST 13) for Brad Cox in Race 7 and Unbeatable (POST 5) in Race 9. Pedroza has been an active presence at this circuit and his connection to Brad Cox in the marquee turf race is his most important assignment today.

Mitchell Murrill rides Liz's Legacy (POST 2) in Race 1 and Executor (POST 7) in Race 7. Murrill is a capable rider who does not often appear on regional cards without quality mounts. His presence on Liz's Legacy (POST 2) as the 2-1 morning-line choice in the opener is a signal worth following.

R. Bejarano rides Hedge (POST 6) in Race 8 and Boltage (POST 9) in Race 9. The veteran Bejarano taking two mounts for David Jacobson across consecutive races is a meaningful barn/rider pattern. Both horses offer legitimate exotic value.

Joseph Ramos is active throughout the card, riding House Of Gold (POST 5) in Race 2, Spooky Ridge (POST 3) in Race 5, Homie (POST 3) in Race 9, and Creek (POST 4) in Race 8. He is a steady presence whose best shot for a winner today is Spooky Ridge (POST 3) in Race 5 or Homie (POST 3) in Race 9.

Trainer Notes and Insights

Brad Cox's two entries in Race 7, He's Late Again (POST 13) and Quality Mischief (POST 14), are the defining trainer angle of the entire card. Cox is a major-circuit trainer whose horses are not sent to regional allowance races without purpose. The 2-1 morning line on He's Late Again (POST 13) reflects the market's respect for the operation, and the 4-1 on Quality Mischief (POST 14) with De La Cruz is likely the overlay. Cox wins at an extremely high percentage in first-condition allowance races when his horses are stepping down in class or targeting a specific spot.

Kenneth McPeek's presence via No More Cents (POST 12) in Race 7 at 30-1 is a secondary trainer angle worth flagging. McPeek is a Hall of Fame-bound trainer who occasionally drops a horse into a regional field at a big number. The 30-1 morning line deserves scrutiny on the tote board.

Randy Klopp is the most active trainer on today's card in terms of volume, sending out runners in Races 3, 4, and 6. Klopp's best shot today appears to be Mega Wich (POST 3) in Race 4 at 2-1 and Gone To Far (POST 3) in Race 6 at 4-1. When a trainer has multiple runners on the same card, the horse with the lowest morning-line price typically represents the barn's primary interest.

Genaro Garcia enters runners in Races 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8, making him the second-most active trainer on the card. Garcia's best opportunity may be Pappy's Revenge (POST 1) in Race 8 at 4-1 with the rail advantage, and El Payasito (POST 6) in Race 4 at 4-1. Garcia tends to win with horses facing a class drop or horses returning from a recent layoff at this circuit.

Tim Eggleston has runners in Race 6, Race 8, and Race 10. Staymistyforme (POST 6) in Race 6 at 2-1 is his priority, and Takeitandrun (POST 9) in Race 8 at 2-1 is a second key runner. When a trainer has two morning-line favorites on the same card, both deserve serious wagering attention.

Joseph Davis appears throughout the card in Races 2, 3, 4, 6, and 7. Davis is a high-volume trainer whose best shot today is Benny's Day (POST 4) in Race 2 at 4-1 with the Alex Achard rider assignment. The Davis/Achard combination in a one-mile route is a pattern worth following.

Tianna Richardville appears in Races 1, 2, and 5 with Sarah's Smiles (POST 7), House Of Gold (POST 5), and Gonnagetchagetcha (POST 4) respectively. House Of Gold (POST 5) in Race 2 at 4-1 is her best runner and most likely winner.

Michelle Elliott is listed in Races 4 and 7 with Special Creed (POST 1) and the pair of Penitent (POST 4) and Oh Please (POST 10). Special Creed (POST 1) in Race 4 at 2-1 is the Elliott primary target today and carries legitimate win expectations.

Best Wagering Strategies and Value Plays

The Race of the Day for wagering purposes is Race 7. With two Brad Cox entries, a McPeek longshot, and 15 runners in a one-mile turf allowance, this race creates the best potential payout on the card in all exotic formats. The recommended approach is to use He's Late Again (POST 13) and Shankar (POST 2) as co-primary selections on top of exactas and trifectas, with Quality Mischief (POST 14) and Chicory Blaze (POST 1) as middle tier, and No More Cents (POST 12) as the key longshot inclusion based on the McPeek angle.

The Best Value Bet on the card is Calycanthus (POST 3) in Race 8 at 3-1 with Gabriel Saez in the irons. Saez riding at a regional meet is an overlay by definition, and the 3-1 morning line on what is effectively a national-caliber jockey and capable trainer combination in a nine-horse optional claiming mile is the single clearest overlay angle on the card. Win betting Calycanthus (POST 3) is the top value play of the day.

The Best Longshot Angle is No More Cents (POST 12) at 30-1 in Race 7. Kenneth McPeek dropping a horse into a regional turf allowance at 30-1 is the kind of situation that pays dividends. Use No More Cents (POST 12) in trifectas and superfectas as a bottom without using it as a win bet.

The Pick 5 on this card would ideally cover the latter portion of the card. A late Pick 5 structured around Races 6 through 10 offers the best potential return given the higher-quality races in that sequence. Suggested approach:

Race 6: Staymistyforme (POST 6) and Lavish Justice (POST 7) Race 7: He's Late Again (POST 13), Shankar (POST 2), Quality Mischief (POST 14) Race 8: Calycanthus (POST 3) and Takeitandrun (POST 9) Race 9: Unbeatable (POST 5), Boltage (POST 9), King Of Sheba (POST 1) Race 10: Apollitical Fast (POST 4) and Cyber Affair (POST 10)

This Pick 5 structure using 2x3x2x3x2 creates 72 combinations. At a $0.50 base it costs $36. The key tickets to invest in most heavily are those with Staymistyforme (POST 6) in Race 6 and He's Late Again (POST 13) and Quality Mischief (POST 14) sharing a Cox win in Race 7.

The $5 Late Double covering Races 8 and 9, highlighted by the ITM team this week in their Horseshoe Indianapolis coverage, is a featured wager with reduced 15% takeout. The recommended double is Calycanthus (POST 3) or Takeitandrun (POST 9) over Unbeatable (POST 5) or Boltage (POST 9). With the Saez angle on Calycanthus (POST 3) in Race 8 and the Jacobson/Bejarano connection on Boltage (POST 9) in Race 9, a two-by-two late double structure provides excellent coverage at a manageable cost.

The Best Exacta of the Day outside of Race 7 is Race 8: Calycanthus (POST 3) over Takeitandrun (POST 9). If Saez wins and the 2-1 favorite runs second, that exacta at a 3-1 over 2-1 structure could return in the $8 to $12 range, which is fair value for a structured play.

For those building a single-race trifecta, Race 9 offers the most straightforward structure. Use Unbeatable (POST 5) on top, Boltage (POST 9) and King Of Sheba (POST 1) in the second slot, and spread Homie (POST 3), Surf City (POST 7), and Utopian (POST 6) across the third position for a trifecta box that covers the likely leaders at manageable cost.
