Gb Five Bar Lights (POST 6), trained by Yareli Melendez and ridden by Francisco Quintero, offers mid-field positioning at 4-1 and is a legitimate contender. Quintero is one of the more active riders on the card today and knows the Sandy Ridge starting strip well. Post 6 in a twelve-horse field is as close to ideal as it gets at 250 feet, and Melendez has shown she can send horses out competitive and ready to run.

Secondary Choices

Cercis (POST 7), trained by Tyler Cole Crawford and ridden by Roman Cruz, presents interesting value at 6-1. Crawford runs two horses in this race — Twizzzler (POST 5) being the stable first call — but Cercis (POST 7) with Cruz in the irons is no throwaway. Crawford's second entries often run better than their morning lines suggest. At 6-1, if Twizzzler (POST 5) has any gate trouble, Cercis (POST 7) is positioned well in Post 7 to benefit.

Lb Valiant Corona (POST 3), trained by Hector J. Sanchez and ridden by Gonzalo Gutierrez, is listed at 8-1. Sanchez is a consistent presence at the regional level, and VALIANT CORONA (POST 3) from the three-hole in a twelve-horse field has a clear enough running lane to be competitive. The 8-1 morning line is understandable given the crowded favorites scenario, but this horse is live if the chalk misses.

Aniversario 310 (POST 12), trained by Oswaldo Hernandez and ridden by Randy Vega, is the co-second choice by morning line at 8-1. Lc Cyber Lady (POST 2), trained by Cesar Esqueda and ridden by Yovani Flores-Munoz, opens at 12-1. Esqueda has horses capable of competitive efforts and CYBER LADY (POST 2) from the two-hole at least avoids wide-field disadvantage.

Miss Piloto Chrome (POST 9), trained by Mardonio Flores Jr. and ridden by Randy Jr. Edison, is a 20-1 shot with outside post concerns in a crowded field.

Rr Blancos Cartel (POST 8), Ts Fly To The End (POST 10), and Bnb Jessagoldheart (POST 11) are all listed at 30-1. These horses face difficult post positions in the back half of a twelve-horse field and represent the deepest reaches of the exotics only. Bnb Jessagoldheart (POST 11) is trained by Jason Pascoe and also ridden by Francisco Quintero, who has the mount on Gb Five Bar Lights (POST 6) as well — check for any jockey changes closer to post.

Wagering Strategy: Single Twizzzler (POST 5) on top of a trifecta box with Gb Five Bar Lights (POST 6), Shez A Smokeshoww (POST 1), and Cercis (POST 7). Use Twizzzler (POST 5) and Gb Five Bar Lights (POST 6) in the exacta. At 2-1, Twizzzler (POST 5) is not a value win bet, so concentrate on the trifecta and exacta structures where the secondary runners offer payout leverage.

Pace Analysis

The step up to 300 feet in an allowance condition for horses that have not won two lifetime does not dramatically change the calculus from Race 1, but the class filter here slightly narrows the field quality range. Kissin N Memphis (POST 1), trained by Jessica A. Vazquez and ridden by Giovani Vazquez-Gomez, opens at 4-1 from the rail. Trainer Vazquez and jockey Vazquez-Gomez appear to be a family connection, and this barn runs competitively in allowance conditions at the regional short-sprint level. The rail at 300 feet is less problematic than in a twelve-horse field, and Kissin N Memphis (POST 1) has the inside path advantage if the break is clean.

Bp Saving Grace (POST 7), trained by Samuel Mendoza and ridden by Randy Vega, opens at 5-1. Mendoza runs competitive horses at this class level and Post 7 gives this runner a workable position toward the outside of an eight-horse gate. At 5-1, SAVING GRACE (POST 7) is a legitimate secondary exotic piece.

Ap Im That Dove (POST 5), trained by Oscar Preciado and ridden by Francisco Quintero, is listed at 10-1. Quintero is a capable rider but DOVE (POST 5) gets no particular morning line respect despite a mid-field post draw. Preciado is a lesser-represented trainer today and DOVE (POST 5) may need a big break to factor.

Longshots

Ss Dreamcatcher (POST 3), trained by German Rodriguez and ridden by Alberto Ceron-Zamudio, is 8-1. Rodriguez has horses capable of competitive efforts in these allowance conditions and DREAMCATCHER (POST 3) from the three-hole in a tight field is not without a chance. Worth including in wider trifecta structures.

Sheza Easy Cash Girl (POST 2), trained by Tyler Cole Crawford and ridden by Luis L. Vivanco, is 12-1. As Crawford's secondary entry in this race, EASY CASH GIRL (POST 2) is listed well behind stable companion Honey In The Rock (POST 4) but is worth noting. Crawford's second strings at Sandy Ridge frequently perform better than morning lines suggest. Vivanco is a competent rider who handles Crawford's overflow book well.

Candied Egg (POST 8), trained by Tony Cunningham and ridden by Luz Daniel Martinez, is listed at 15-1 and is the widest horse in an eight-runner field. The outside post at 300 feet is more manageable than in a twelve-horse field, and Cunningham horses are always worth watching at this track. At 15-1, Candied Egg (POST 8) is live as a trifecta filler if the top choices underperform.

LOTA GIRL (POST 8) and Vivanco make a capable pairing.

Secondary Choices

Ss First Down Fancy (POST 2), trained by Samuel E. Valdivia and ridden by Roman Cruz, opens at 4-1. Valdivia sends out a competitive claiming-level horse in FIRST DOWN FANCY (POST 2), and Cruz is one of the more active and effective riders on today's card. The two-post in a nine-horse field is favorable.

Watch For Estela (POST 6), trained by Tony Cunningham and ridden by Luz Daniel Martinez, also opens at 4-1. Cunningham saddles two horses in this race — Gold Kings Mawnee (POST 4) and Watch For Estela (POST 6). ESTELA (POST 6) with Martinez in the irons is the more credentialed runner of the pair at equal morning line odds with Sm Alys Kvn (POST 1)'s stablemates. At 4-1, Watch For Estela (POST 6) is a legitimate exacta and win contender.

Longshots

Mckenzie Foose (POST 3), trained by Hector J. Sanchez and ridden by Jose Sosa, is listed at 6-1. Sanchez horses are competitive at the $10,000 claiming level and Sosa is a capable claiming-race pilot. FOOSE (POST 3) from the three-hole is a reasonable trifecta inclusion.

Gold Kings Mawnee (POST 4), trained by Tony Cunningham and ridden by Francisco Quintero, is listed at 10-1. As Cunningham's secondary entry, KINGS MAWNEE (POST 4) with Quintero aboard could surprise given Quintero's strong presence on today's card. Worth a small trifecta play.

Kween Victoria (POST 5) is Crawford's entry at 20-1 with Gonzalo Gutierrez up, and Xplosive (POST 7) is Crawford's second entry at 15-1 with Mario Delgado. Two Crawford horses in a nine-horse claiming field is worth noting — Crawford's volume operation at this track means even longer-priced starters can be competitive. Post 6 is nearly as good as Post 7 in this field, and COWGIRL (POST 6) with Vivanco is clearly the stable's second call. McDowell is a competitive trainer and Post 11 from the extreme outside in a twelve-horse field is a concern at 250 feet.

Mondayalloveragain (POST 2), trained by Jessica Vazquez and ridden by Giovani Vazquez-Gomez, is 10-1. From the two-hole, Mondayalloveragain (POST 2) has a clean draw and the Vazquez barn could produce an upset at a price.

Ttt Dashin Jolla (POST 9), trained by Guadalupe Garza Jr. and ridden by B. Ransom, is also 10-1. Mid-to-outer post at 250 feet with a lesser-represented trainer makes this a trifecta-only play.

Longshots

Jrs Runaway Favorite (POST 4), trained by Samuel E. Valdivia and ridden by Roman Cruz, is listed at 20-1. Despite the name, this horse gets no morning line respect. Cruz is capable and the middle post is acceptable, but RUNAWAY FAVORITE (POST 4) appears to need a significant morning line adjustment to factor into win consideration.

Separate Star Bc (POST 3), trained by Bryan H. Calloway and ridden by Gonzalo Gutierrez, is 12-1. Ajk Reylor (POST 5), trained by Sacramento Chavez and ridden by Hugo Macias, is 12-1. Ps Ima Pilot (POST 10), trained by Dwain Cissell and ridden by Cordarelton J. Benn, is also 12-1. These three are exotics-only entries with lesser stable representation at this meet.

Special Tee Choice (POST 8), trained by Shawna Martin and ridden by Yovani Flores-Munoz, is 20-1. A Tuff Politician (POST 12), trained by Hector J. Sanchez and ridden by Jose Sosa, is 30-1 from the worst post in the field. POLITICIAN (POST 12) faces both the most difficult post draw and a long morning line.

Wagering Strategy: The Crawford-Cunningham rivalry is the feature angle in Race 4. Bet Patrick D (POST 7) to win and structure exactas with Royal Rosey D (POST 1) and A Valliant Cowgirl (POST 6). A trifecta using those three with Tossin Back Time (POST 11) as a fourth is the play if you want some extra payout leverage.

The wider field of eleven means this race has the most competitive depth of any allowance sprint today, and the pace scenario at 300 feet is nearly identical to Race 2 — full throttle from the gate with only marginal room for positioning.

Post 6 in an eleven-horse field is an excellent draw and Martin is an underrated conditioner at this level. Flores-Munoz is a capable rider and Beach Feature (POST 6) at 4-1 could be an overlay if the favorite money flows elsewhere.

Grano D Oro (POST 11), trained by Sacramento Chavez and ridden by Hugo Macias, is 5-1 from the outside post in an eleven-horse field. The extreme outer post is an inherent disadvantage in short-sprint racing, but Chavez often sends horses that are physically sharp and gate-ready. At 5-1, the odds attempt to compensate for the post draw, and Macias knows how to handle this challenge.

Je Favoritejessjumpn (POST 8), trained by Jose Estrada and ridden by Pedro Chavarria Espinosa, is tied at 5-1. Post 8 in an eleven-horse field is on the outer third of the gate. Estrada runs competitive horses and FAVORITEJESSJUMPN (POST 8) at 5-1 is a reasonable exacta and trifecta option.

Secondary Choices

Jay W (POST 5), trained by Samuel Mendoza and ridden by Randy Vega, is 6-1 from a prime mid-field post. Post 5 is ideal at 300 feet and Mendoza consistently sends ready allowance runners. VEGA is a dependable pilot and Jay W (POST 5) is a strong secondary exotic piece and legitimate win contender at a workable price.

Pinch Runner (POST 1), trained by Guadalupe Garza Jr. and ridden by B. Ransom, is 8-1 from the rail. In an eleven-horse field at 300 feet, the inside post is more of a concern than in a smaller group. RANSOM handles the rail well and Garza Jr. runs competitive horses, but the post is a negative.

Woke Mob (POST 4), trained by Tyler Cole Crawford and ridden by Luis L. Vivanco, is listed at 8-1. This is Crawford's entry in this race and despite an 8-1 morning line, the Crawford barn's track record at Sandy Ridge demands respect. Post 4 is an excellent draw and Vivanco in the irons for Crawford's stable means Woke Mob (POST 4) is more live than the price suggests. This could be the value play of the race.

Mr Scar (POST 7), trained by Waylan Melton and ridden by Cordarelton J. Benn, is 8-1. Wr Patron (POST 10), trained by Tyler Cole Crawford and ridden by Mario Delgado, is also 8-1. Crawford thus saddles two horses here — Woke Mob (POST 4) with Vivanco and Wr Patron (POST 10) with Delgado. Delgado is typically Crawford's top call, suggesting Wr Patron (POST 10) may be the more forward of the two Crawford runners despite the outer post disadvantage.

Longshots

Rr Coronados Cash (POST 2), trained by Jessica Vazquez and ridden by Giovani Vazquez-Gomez, is 20-1. The Vazquez barn has entrants across the card today and CORONADOS CASH (POST 2) from the two-hole is a manageable position, but the 20-1 morning line suggests this horse needs to improve significantly to factor.
