Pick Pony Handicapper — Parx Racing, September 15, 2026

Partly cloudy, mid-70s, fast dirt expected throughout. Parx sprints favor early speed from inside-to-mid posts; routes reward stalkers who can settle and close. Full fields in Races 1, 5, and 10 favor posts 4–8.

Race 1 — 6F, Clm $7,500 NW2L, F&M (12:40)

Doppio Espresso (6) is the clear morning line anchor in a chaotic 12-horse field and merits a win single. Miss Tifeye (7) and Tap And A Hug (5) are the logical exacta/trifecta companions. Alyvia Mavis (11) at 12-1 is the preferred longshot from a barn that doubles up in this race.

Race 2 — ~1M, Md $16,000, F&M (1:07)

Bulma (7) sets the pace and is the public choice in this nine-horse maiden route. Show Em Up (9) is a dangerous closer at 4-1, and Inner Excellence (2) at 5-1 carries the Scott Lake barn angle worth respecting. Punch And Judy (6) fills out the trifecta.

Race 3 — ~6F, Md $25,000, F&M (1:34)

Ginster (6) is the Reid barn's top weapon in a six-horse trainer battle between Reid and Servis. Fooled Ya (3) and South Street Sally (1) provide strong Servis coverage, while She's Got Moxie (2) with Mychel Sanchez makes this a genuine four-horse race. Tristar Empress (4) at 12-1 is bottom-of-trifecta only.

Race 4 — 6F, Clm $5,000 NW1Y, F&M (2:01)

Bright Kohana (2) from post 2 with Sanchez is the recommended win single in this ten-horse bottom-level sprint. Cocoa's Vivian (1) is the natural pace rival from the rail, and She's A Gem (7) rounds out the trifecta at 4-1.

Race 5 — 6F, Clm $7,500 NW2L, Males (2:28)

Onishenko (10) at 4-1 with Sanchez is the preferred single in this wide-open 12-horse field. We Miss Neil (5) and Dirty Cash (4) are the primary exacta partners, with Marchin Into April (7) and King Barou (12) covering the trifecta. Disco Rhodes (6) at 15-1 with Ocasio is a token longshot play.

Race 6 — 1-3/16M, Clm $7,500, Males (2:55)

Vino Dominus (3) at 2-1 is the standout of the mid-card — ideal inside draw, Padilla-Preciado barn firing on all cylinders today. Docsgotallthecandy (6) and Tall Cotton (5) are the logical exacta/trifecta fills. Backtrack (2) at 15-1 from post 2 merits minor trifecta inclusion.

Race 7 — 6F, Clm $5,000 NW1Y, Males (3:22)

Dot's Dollar (8) at 2-1 with Sanchez is the play — the Sanchez booking at $5,000 claiming level is a clear trainer signal. Amusing Mischief (6) and Power Agenda (3) are the exacta/trifecta complements, with Sophia's Prince (2) from the inside as a secondary value option.

Race 8 — 1-3/16M, OClm $16,000, F&M (3:49)

Gingersayschill (4) at 2-1 is the anchor in this six-horse optional claiming route, with an ideal post draw and sharp connections. American Select (6) with Sanchez is the main threat, and Dadoo (5) at 6-1 for Reid is the best value trainer angle on the card. Gruene Hall (2) at 8-1 is a trifecta inclusion only.

Race 9 — ~6F, OClm $25,000, Males (4:16) — Card Feature

El Apagon (2) at 4-1 with Sanchez is the recommended win single in the card's richest race, offering genuine overlay potential if King Peanut (4) compresses at post time. King Peanut (4) and Whisper Roar (6) complete the trifecta box, with Tough Guy Tony (3) as the fourth horse in wider coverage. Cajun Venom (5) at 8-1 with Ocasio is the longshot sprinkle.

Race 10 — 6F, Clm $7,500, Males (4:43)

My Man Money (2) at 3-1 with Lopez from the rail is the closing single — Potts and Lopez combining in back-to-back races after Race 9 is a powerful barn signal. Leonidas Stand (9) and J Cody (7) are the primary exotic companions, with Prairie Dunes (10) at 8-1 with Ocasio as a live trifecta addition given his full-card activity.
