Belterra Park — September 18, 2026 Condensed Handicapper Report

Partly cloudy, low-to-mid 70s, fast dirt and firm-to-good turf expected. Speed favored on dirt sprints; inside posts carry meaningful value on the tight turf course. Hamm dominates Race 4, Cline dominates Race 7 — non-stable horses offer the best value in both stakes.

Race 1 — 1320f | Dirt | Claiming $7,500

Clean Machine (2) is the clear top choice at even money with the ideal stalking position. Crafted (3) is the main danger at 2-1 pressing from just outside. It'sgoodtobeseen (5) at 6-1 is the best closer if the pace turns honest.

Race 2 — 1210f | Dirt | Maiden Claiming $5,000

Tacit Agreement (1) and Classic Tiramisu (3) share favoritism at 2-1 in a wide-open low-level maiden field. Ez Yours (4) at 3-1 may be underlaid and deserves equal respect. Dangereuse (2) at 4-1 is a token exotic inclusion.

Race 3 — 1760f | Dirt | Allowance

Bradley (3) is the standout on the Michael Maker trainer angle in what amounts to a significant class drop to regional Ohio allowance level. Atlas Falls (5) at 3-1 is the primary danger with a workable post, and Kickstart (2) at 4-1 adds trifecta depth. Global Event (6) and Guess Again (4), both at long odds from the Hamm barn, are trifecta savers only.

Race 4 — 1870f | Turf | Miss Southern Ohio $75,000

Parlay (2) is the top Hamm selection with Bowen aboard and the better post of the three stable entries. Danzaniteaway (5) at 4-1 is the primary value play against the Hamm trio, and Miz Keeta (1) at 5-1 benefits from the rail draw in a five-horse turf route. Better Half (4) at 6-1 completes the Hamm coverage in exotics.

Race 5 — 1210f | Dirt | Maiden Special Weight

Mindstars (7) at 3-1 is the morning-line choice, and Crystal Sands (4) at 4-1 offers excellent post position from the center of the field as the preferred Donjuan entry. Call Her Majesty (3) at 6-1 with a favorable post draws attention at a fair price, and Chiva Loca (1) at 4-1 is live if she breaks cleanly from the rail.

Race 6 — 1100f | Turf | Claiming $4,000

Ultra Violence (3) at 4-1 with the ideal post-3 draw is the value play over Check The Grade (7) at 2-1, whose outside post in a tight turf sprint is a genuine liability. Karma Director (6) is the preferred co-favorite despite the wide draw, and El Gavilan (4) at 4-1 from the center post rounds out the trifecta.

Race 7 — 1320f | Dirt | Loyalty Stakes $75,000

Breakheart Pass (5) at 2-1 is the Cline barn's primary runner and the deserving favorite. Samurai Sword (2) at 3-1 with the excellent post-2 draw is the top value play and the best alternative in exactas. El Notional (8) at 4-1 is the Cline closer to key in trifectas, and Little Truck (1) at 5-1 and Rule The Roost (4) at 8-1 fill out the deeper tickets.

Race 8 — 1760f | Turf | Claiming $7,500

Candy Addiction (8) at 2-1 is the public choice despite the outside post, which is manageable in a two-turn turf route. Mohtafil (1) at 4-1 from the rail is potentially undervalued given the ground-saving advantage in a two-turn route, and Glacial Power (7) at 4-1 and Kick It In (5) at 5-1 fill trifecta tickets at fair prices.
