Remington Park — September 26, 2026 — Quick Reference Card

Warm, dry conditions with a fast main track and firm turf favor early speed on dirt sprints and rail-savers on the turf course. The Asmussen barn dominates the card with Erik Asmussen as primary rider; Bravo and Calhoun are the key rival operations. Inside posts carry a meaningful edge on turf throughout the evening.

Race 1 — 1760f | Turf | Claiming $20,000 N2L

Joe's Candy (8) is the clear single at 2-1 in the Asmussen barn's turf setup. Qualitysoulofmine (6) at 5-1 is the top exacta threat, with Remittance (4) as the place alternative. Atreidesreflection (1) is worth including in exotics given the favorable rail draw on turf.

Race 2 — 1540f | Dirt | Claiming $5,000

Blame Da Stoops (4) is the Asmussen single at 2-1 and the race's controlling force. Norway Beach (7) at 4-1 is the main rival, with He's A Rock (5) and Absaroka (1) rounding out exacta coverage. Ammenthedestroyer (6) at 8-1 is the lone longshot worth a look if the pace gets honest.

Race 3 — 1320f | Dirt | Claiming $7,500 N2L

Deposit Insurance (6) at 2-1 is the Asmussen win single in a field with legitimate pace competition. Lazy Y Girvin (5) at 3-1 is the closest rival, and Fair Hope (3) and Tartarian (1) share the 4-1 secondary tier. Echo Marine (7) at 6-1 is the best overlay in the race and belongs in all exotic plays.

Race 4 — 1870f | Dirt | Claiming $10,000 (B) Fillies & Mares

Maddienlizzyshonor (5) gets a slight edge over co-favorite Grace Given (4) based on the improving Gustafson barn's numbers. Janes Girls (3) and Lookin Lucky Again (6) are viable exacta threats at 4-1 each. Boltoro (2) at 6-1 is worth including in exacta play if going wide in this six-horse field.

Race 5 — 1760f | Turf | Allowance $44,000 NC

Country Caper (8) at 2-1 is the Bravo barn's primary entry and the race's top selection on turf. Tap The Dot (2) at 4-1 from the Asmussen barn holds a post-position edge on the inner turf, and barn-mate Excaping The Blues (3) at 4-1 is a genuine win threat rather than simply a pace rabbit. Buck Pie (1) at 6-1 from the rail is the best longshot value in the field.

Race 6 — 1100f | Dirt | Claiming $5,000 (B) Fillies & Mares

Miss Sundaze (2) at 2-1 is the dominant public choice from an inside post in a nine-horse field. Princess Kaiulani (7) at 4-1 is the main rival, with Posetively Perfect (3) at 6-1 the preferred beneficiary of a hot pace. This race is best approached through trifecta and superfecta play rather than straight win wagering.

Race 7 — 1210f | Dirt | Allowance $44,000 NC

Letta's Legacy (4) at 1-1 is the banker single of the card and should anchor every multi-race exotic. Nice Neighbor (3) and Ship Of Dreams (5) at 4-1 each are the Calhoun barn's dual threats for the exacta. Cyndi Loper (1) at 5-1 from the rail is the best value exacta play underneath the favorite and should pay a useful price.

Race 8 — 1760f | Dirt | Allowance $42,000 (B)

Dimatic (5) gets a slim edge over co-favorite Victory For Vets (3) based on the Asmussen barn's allowance route record. Flying Drummer (1) and Mcdude (4) at 4-1 each are live in a five-horse field where any pace misstep opens the door. Box all four in the trifecta; Aaron (2) at 6-1 is worth including at minimum in superfecta plays.

Race 9 — 1100f | Turf | Claiming $20,000 Fillies & Mares

Spa City Girl (4) at 2-1 is the win single in a turf sprint where early positioning is everything. Afternoon Diva (3) at 5-1 with a favorable post is the top value play and the preferred exacta partner. Bling It To Me (6) and Successfulpath (7) at 4-1 each complete trifecta coverage, with Happy N Smiling (1) worth adding at 10-1 for the rail advantage.

Race 10 — 1210f | Dirt | Maiden Special Weight Fillies

Nedra Nell (2) at 2-1 is the top choice in a wide-open ten-horse maiden, with Sweet Charlotte (10) at 4-1 and Erik Asmussen up as the most dangerous rival. Optimize (5) at 5-1 and Miss Neigh Neigh (6) at 6-1 round out trifecta coverage. Will's Tour (7) at 10-1 with Alvarez is the standout longshot play in a race where chaos is always possible.
