Pick Pony Track Condition Report — Parx Racing, October 31, 2026

Track Surface & Bias

Parx's card is scheduled for dirt racing. Expect a potentially moisture-affected surface if showers reach the Philadelphia area; on a wet or sealed track, inside posts and tactical speed typically become more valuable, while closers may need a genuine pace collapse. On a drying or fast track, favor horses able to secure position early—particularly front-runners and stalkers—rather than deep closers.

Handicapper’s Edge

Give extra weight to recent Parx dirt form and demonstrated wet-track ability, but avoid overcommitting to the rail until the first few races reveal whether the inside is holding or tiring. Upgrade versatile speed horses that can stalk just off the pace, and demand stronger value from runners dependent on a late outside rally.
