Pick Pony Track Condition Report — Zia Park, November 3, 2026

Track Surface & Bias

Zia Park's card is scheduled for dirt, with recent listings describing the surface as fast. On a dry, fast Zia Park dirt track, early speed and tactical stalkers generally hold an advantage, particularly in sprint races; inside-to-middle posts can help secure position, while wide draws may require extra ground-saving efficiency.

Handicapper’s Edge

Give added weight to horses with proven dirt form, tactical speed, and the ability to maintain position into the first turn. Treat deep closers cautiously unless the pace projects unusually fast or the track shows evidence of favoring outside lanes.
