Recent meet statistics show a strong early-speed profile: front-runners won 49% of 5-furlong dirt races and 40% at 6½ furlongs, with outside posts favored in sprints and middle posts performing best at 6½ furlongs. At one mile, the rail has been the most productive post group, while middle posts have led at 1⅛ miles.

Handicapper’s Edge
