Key contenders are Lordbetwentothorns (5) as the principal winning threat, supported by strong trainer form, and Scared Cause (2) as a close second choice from a favorable inside draw. Sun Of War (1) is a secondary player with rail advantage and solid connections but with the uncertainty that comes from limited experience. Race 2 – Claiming $5,000 – 1 Mile

Race 4 is a seven-horse low-level claiming sprint. The likely pace is honest to fast, with See Spot Run (1) and Beyond The Bend (3) both capable of vying for the early lead, and Florida Gator (7) able to apply pressure from the outside.

See Spot Run (1) is a key contender, combining an inside post with a high-percentage trainer, though that barn's runners often finish second or third. Beyond The Bend (3) is another primary contender with speed and a favorable inside–middle draw. Boldness (6) is a secondary choice with some back class and a mid-pack running style that can benefit from a pace duel.

Race 5 – Claiming $10,000 – Ohio Breds – 6 Furlongs

Race 5 is a full-field Ohio-bred claiming sprint that is projected to have a contentious pace. Drill Em (4), My Valentino (6), and Sgt York (3) all have enough speed to participate early, making this a likely pace meltdown scenario.

My Valentino (6) is a key contender, offering a strong combination of form and a stalking style that suits a fast-paced race. Drill Em (4) is another primary contender, although his forward style could be compromised if the early fractions become too hot. Sgt York (3) sits just behind these two as a strong secondary contender with solid form.

Balki Bartokomous (9) is a secondary player from a wide post with a top local rider and a trainer who also saddles Sgt York (3). Playfulasitgets (8) and Buckeye Mike (5) are longshots who may benefit from a pace collapse and can be upgraded slightly on a tiring surface.

Race 6 – Allowance Optional Claiming $40,000 – 1 Mile

Race 6 is the highest-class event of the card. The pace will be set by tactical speed horses such as Eddie M (5) and Baxley (1), if both start, with Saint Goar (2) and King Curlin (6) close up. The tempo should be moderate but could change significantly if scratch-watch horses come out.

Baxley (1) is a prime key contender with the best recent win at the track and class relief after being entered in a tougher Oaklawn spot. Extradition (4) is a major key contender as well, representing a powerful trainer with a high recent strike rate and proven form over this track and distance. Race 7 – Allowance – Fillies and Mares – 1 Mile

Race 7 is a one-mile allowance for fillies and mares who have never won two races. The likely pace is moderate, led by Red Royalty (1) from the rail and potentially joined by Supersonic Agenda (5) and Fall In Love (3).

Red Royalty (1) is the principal key contender, combining a strong recent second, prior course-and-distance success, and the inside draw. Cowgirlsluvme (10) is a longshot with a leading rider and a wide draw that will require a clever trip. Lucky Juulz (2) and others such as He Is Dynamic (9) offer additional depth at bigger prices, particularly if the early leaders tire on a demanding surface.
