Identified by counting E and EP run-style horses. When only one qualifies, that horse gets LONE_SPEED. An uncontested pace-setter faces no pressure at the first call, conserves energy through easy fractions, and can steal races at any class level. Historically, lone-speed horses win at rates significantly above their post-time odds. The advantage is specially pronounced in sprints and on tracks with known speed biases.
