POOR RECENT FORM

Fires when the last 2 or 3 valid speed figures are all below 90% of the horse's career median speed figure, and at least 4 career figures exist to establish the baseline. A horse performing well below its established level on multiple consecutive occasions is either unsound, facing unsuitable conditions, or genuinely declining. The 90% threshold (rather than the median itself) provides some tolerance for normal variation and prevents the flag from firing on a horse that had one bad day.
