DIRT TO TURF

Fires when today's surface is turf and the most recent start was on dirt. Turf racing demands different physical traits than dirt racing: horses need to handle softer, more variable footing, adjust their stride and balance, and compete at slightly different pace scenarios. Dirt horses switching to turf for the first few times often show inconsistent performances as they adapt. If the horse also has NEVER_ON_SURFACE or SURFACE_UNPROVEN, the concern is compounded.
