Race Day Overview

Churchill Downs opens its fall meet on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, with a nine-race program beginning at 1:00 p.m. Eastern. The card contains four turf races and five dirt races, with distances ranging from 1,210 feet to 2,420 feet. Racing then shifts to Keeneland for the Breeders' Cup program later in the week.

The strongest handicapping opinions on the card center on Feral (4) in Race 1, Rapoport (1) in Race 2, Cartier Gold (9) in Race 7, and Corona De Oro (4) in Race 8. Corona De Oro (4) is the principal value play, while Feral (4) is the most attractive price horse in the opening race.

Published race-card listings showed no non-runners in Races 2, 3, 4, and 8 at the time of the available update.

Weather and Track Conditions

Louisville is expected to have a warm, generally dry Wednesday, with afternoon temperatures in the mid-70s, light winds, and mostly cloudy conditions gradually giving way to sunshine. The forecast calls for little or no meaningful rain during the racing window.

The dry forecast favors a fast or good dirt surface and a firm turf course, although the official condition should be confirmed at the track before wagering. No reliable same-day maintenance report establishing a specific rail or lane bias was available. The best approach is to watch the first two dirt races and the first turf race for evidence of inside, outside, speed, or closing preference.

Churchill Downs' long stretch and sweeping turns generally reward horses that secure position without being forced into a prolonged early duel. On the turf, saving ground is valuable, but a 15-horse field in Race 8 creates a greater risk of traffic and makes clean acceleration more important than the draw alone.

Race 1 — Post (1:00)/12:00/11:00/10:00 — 1540f | D | C | Clm 62500b | BUN | Purse $78,000

Pace Analysis

This appears to be a moderately contested dirt sprint. Risk It (1), Sleepingonfreedom (2), One More Freud (3), and Discotheque (9) have the most natural incentive to secure forward position. Discotheque (9) is the morning-line favorite, but the outside post could force Jose Ortiz to use him early or accept a wide stalking trip.

Fer al (4) is more attractive from a pace standpoint because he can sit just behind the principal speed and produce a second move. The race does not appear overloaded with committed front-runners, so a tactical horse can control the outcome.

Key Contenders

Feral (4) is the preferred win candidate and the best value on the morning line. He reportedly enters off back-to-back Beyer tops, won against first-time winners before the layoff, and receives a favorable projected pace. The Tomlinson barn's 19 percent record with this type of layoff is an additional positive.

Discotheque (9) owns the class edge on the listed odds and gets Irad Ortiz, but the 2-1 price leaves little room for a troubled trip. He is the horse most likely to win if he works out a clean stalking journey.

Risk It (1) has the most favorable inside position among the principal contenders and retains Jose Ortiz. He can be dangerous if he breaks cleanly and avoids getting shuffled behind the speed.

Secondary Choices

One More Freud (3) gets Tyler Gaffalione and could receive the ideal trip just behind the leaders. The post is suitable, and the 6-1 price is more appealing than the shorter odds on Discotheque (9).

Sleepingonfreedom (2) is another logical exacta candidate. He should save ground and has enough tactical speed to stay involved, though he needs to prove he can finish strongly against this group.

Longshots

Poppa Echo (5) is usable underneath at 10-1 if the pace becomes more demanding than expected. Ravens Dream (6) is a secondary closer from the Asmussen barn and could pick up pieces if the front end softens.

Attersee (8) has enough ability to threaten the lower exotics but may lose ground from the outside. Six String Prince (7) and Feral (4) are the two horses at double-digit odds most worth separating; Feral (4) is the clear preference.

Selections

Win: Feral (4)

Place: Discotheque (9)

Show: One More Freud (3)

Betting Strategy

Win bet Feral (4) at 7-2 or higher. Use an exacta key with Feral (4) over Discotheque (9), Risk It (1), One More Freud (3), and Sleepingonfreedom (2). Include Poppa Echo (5) underneath in larger-field trifecta combinations.

Race 2 — Post (1:29)/12:29/11:29/10:29 — 2420f | T | AO | OClm 80000n2x | BUN | Purse $134,000

Pace Analysis

The marathon turf distance should produce a controlled opening quarter and place a premium on position, stamina, and rider patience. Rapoport (1) owns the best ground-saving draw. Chambersville (2) and Esmark (3) are likely to remain close, while Catch The Breeze (6) and The Hidden Chamber (4) should be able to settle within striking range.

There is no obvious reason to expect a fast pace. The horse capable of relaxing early and producing a sustained run from the final turn should have the advantage.

Key Contenders

Rapoport (1) is the best price play. He saves ground from the rail, returns to a longer distance, and is making his fifth start for Michael Maker. His latest race at Kentucky Downs may be better than it appears, and that event produced two subsequent winners with strong figures.

Chambersville (2) is the logical favorite with Irad Ortiz and a favorable inside post. He should get a clean, economical trip, but the 2-1 price demands a strong effort.

Esmark (3) is a legitimate danger at 3-1. Luis Saez should be able to keep him in a comfortable stalking position, and the short field reduces the risk of being trapped behind traffic.

Secondary Choices

Catch The Breeze (6) has enough tactical speed to avoid falling too far back. The outside half of the field is not ideal for a marathon, but the horse can become dangerous if the rider establishes position before the first turn.

The Hidden Chamber (4) is a usable exacta horse. Tyler Gaffalione is well suited to a patient turf ride, and the post gives him options.

Longshots

Clyde's Got A Gun (5) is not impossible at 4-1 but must show that he can sustain his run over this distance. Hard As Life (7) is the outsider and needs significant improvement, although the small field means he should not be completely dismissed in the final slot of a superfecta.

Selections

Win: Rapoport (1)

Place: Chambersville (2)

Show: Esmark (3)

Betting Strategy

Rapoport (1) is playable at 6-1 or higher. Use a trifecta key with Rapoport (1), Chambersville (2), and Esmark (3), adding Catch The Breeze (6) and The Hidden Chamber (4) underneath. The small field makes a straight exacta involving Rapoport (1) over Chambersville (2) attractive if the price remains fair.

Race 3 — Post (1:58)/12:58/11:58/10:58 — 1870f | D | M | Md 50000 | BUN | Purse $67,000

Pace Analysis

The race contains enough potential speed to make the first turn important. Guns Allowed (4) should be forwardly placed, while Macchiato (5), Ingleborough (3), and Max Is Him (9) are candidates to stalk. Harbor Prince (6) may be the most likely closer among the principal contenders.

At the 1 1/16-mile distance, Guns Allowed (4) must avoid spending too much energy in the opening stages. If he settles, he is the horse most likely to dictate the race.

Key Contenders

Guns Allowed (4) is the clear first choice. Brad Cox teams with Irad Ortiz, and the 2-1 morning line reflects the strongest combination of class, rider, and expected trip. His main risk is being forced into an unnecessarily quick pace.

Macchiato (5) is the principal alternative. Jose Ortiz should be able to place him just off the leaders, and the 4-1 price is reasonable if Guns Allowed (4) is overbet.

Ingleborough (3) is another serious contender. Dale Romans places him in a favorable inside-middle post, and the 4-1 quote makes him usable in both win and exacta wagers.

Secondary Choices

Max Is Him (9) has enough ability to complete the exacta, but the outside post could leave him wide into the first turn. Harbor Prince (6) is more appealing for a late trifecta position if the pace becomes honest.

Longshots

Flume's Vino (7) has a chance to improve with a clean journey, but he needs to outperform his 10-1 line. Private Show (8) and Titan King (1) are longshot possibilities for the bottom of deeper exotics. It's Final (2) is another outsider who would benefit from a collapse, though the overall pace may not be fast enough to produce one.

Selections

Win: Guns Allowed (4)

Place: Macchiato (5)

Show: Ingleborough (3)

Betting Strategy

Use Guns Allowed (4) as a moderate straight win play at 2-1 or better. Exacta combinations should center on Guns Allowed (4) over Macchiato (5), Ingleborough (3), and Harbor Prince (6). Use Max Is Him (9) underneath rather than on top.

Race 4 — Post (2:27)/1:27/12:27/11:27 — 1320f | D | M | Md 30000 | BUM | Purse $57,000

Pace Analysis

This maiden claiming sprint should be active early. Spill The Sugar (9), Statutory (2), Pulling Threads (5), and Enticing Moves (11) have the most favorable profiles for the first flight. The outside runners may need to clear or angle inward quickly, while the inside horses risk being pressured from both sides.

The best trip should go to a horse that can stalk rather than duel. Spill The Sugar (9) has the most attractive combination of expected speed and rider placement.

Key Contenders

Spill The Sugar (9) is the top choice at 2-1. Jose Ortiz is a significant positive, and the horse should have enough speed to avoid being buried while still getting cover. The main concern is the price and the wide draw.

Statutory (2) is the most logical alternative. The inside post should allow Francisco Arrieta to save ground, and the 4-1 quote is fair if the horse breaks cleanly.

Pulling Threads (5) is a strong secondary win candidate. Joe Sharp and Yomar Ortiz are paired with a well-positioned horse who should get a stalking trip.

Secondary Choices

Enticing Moves (11) can be included in exactas and trifectas. The post is wide, but the horse may obtain a clear outside run if the field compresses into the turn.

Riyah Al Nil (6) and Grant's Gretchen (7) are usable underneath. Both need to improve their finishing efficiency, but the expected pace gives them a chance to pass tired rivals.

Longshots

Loves To Fish (4) is a speculative 15-1 inclusion for the bottom of vertical wagers. Funny Twist (8) could benefit from a pace meltdown but is not an attractive win candidate.

Triple Moon (10), Preach Tewmey Now (3), and Super Pachi (1) are the remaining outsiders. Super Pachi (1) has the most difficult task from the rail at 50-1, while Preach Tewmey Now (3) and Triple Moon (10) need substantial improvement.

Selections

Win: Spill The Sugar (9)

Place: Pulling Threads (5)

Show: Statutory (2)

Betting Strategy

The value is with Pulling Threads (5) if the odds remain near 4-1. Use an exacta box with Spill The Sugar (9), Pulling Threads (5), and Statutory (2). Add Enticing Moves (11) and Riyah Al Nil (6) to trifecta tickets.

Race 5 — Post (2:57)/1:57/12:57/11:57 — 2420f | T | A | Alw 127000n1x | BUN | Purse $127,000

Pace Analysis

This is another marathon turf race in which early restraint should be expected. Greystone (4), Lahainaluna (5), and Vaporetti (8) appear most likely to secure prominent positions. My Boy Tony (1) should save ground, while Dawn Dragon (6), Caragogo (7), and Lazlo (2) may be allowed to settle.

The race should favor stamina and a smooth second move rather than raw early speed. Greystone (4) has the best overall profile, but the long distance creates opportunities for a patient rival.

Key Contenders

Greystone (4) is the morning-line favorite and the horse to beat. Maker has two runners in the race, and Tyler Gaffalione gives Greystone (4) a rider capable of conserving energy. The 2-1 price is short, but the horse should receive a favorable trip.

Vaporetti (8) is the principal challenger. The Brad Cox-Irad Ortiz combination is formidable, and the outside post is less damaging at this distance because there is more time to establish position.

Lahainaluna (5) offers a reasonable alternative at 4-1. Joe Sharp gives Jose Ortiz a horse capable of staying close enough to avoid traffic.

Secondary Choices

Caragogo (7) is the best price among the secondary runners. George Arnold's horse could be dangerous if the pace is slow and Edgar Morales keeps him within range.

My Boy Tony (1) has the ground-saving post and can complete the exacta if he receives a clean inside run. Lazlo (2) is another horse who should benefit from saving ground, though the rider change to Ben Curtis adds some uncertainty.

Longshots

Dawn Dragon (6) is an underneath candidate at 8-1. Sav'n Money (3) is the longest-priced runner and needs improvement, but the 15-1 quote makes him a reasonable deep-ticket inclusion.

Selections

Win: Vaporetti (8)

Place: Greystone (4)

Show: Lahainaluna (5)

Betting Strategy

Vaporetti (8) is the preferred win value if he reaches 4-1 or higher. Use exactas with Vaporetti (8) and Greystone (4) on top of Lahainaluna (5), Caragogo (7), and My Boy Tony (1). The marathon distance favors spreading in the trifecta rather than taking a short-priced single.

Race 6 — Post (3:26)/2:26/1:26/12:26 — 1320f | D | R | Alw 30000s | BUM | Purse $62,000

Pace Analysis

Lockdownyourtown (4) and Noroomformischief (3) are the likely pace factors. Critikal Sense (5) should be close enough to capitalize if the top two engage too quickly. Final Shipman (2) and Epic Prankster (7) are secondary stalkers, while She's Not A Joke (1) and Lindy Can (6) appear more dependent on a pace collapse.

The race could become a two-horse tactical contest. The advantage goes to the runner that breaks best and controls the inside position.

Key Contenders

Lockdownyourtown (4) is the narrow top choice. The 2-1 line reflects his favorable post and likely forward trip. Cristian Torres should have the opportunity to dictate or sit just off Noroomformischief (3).

Noroomformischief (3) is equally capable and may be the more reliable horse if the pace remains moderate. The 2-1 morning line makes a straight win wager unattractive, but he is difficult to leave off any exacta.

Critikal Sense (5) is the best alternative at 4-1. If the favorites overdo the opening stages, Critikal Sense (5) has the tactical positioning to take advantage.

Secondary Choices

Final Shipman (2) can save ground and remain close enough for the lower exotics. Epic Prankster (7) is an outside threat who becomes more interesting if the first half-mile is contested.

Longshots

She's Not A Joke (1) is a possible underneath horse if she secures an inside stalking trip. Lindy Can (6) is the major outsider and requires a significant pace collapse, but should be included in a large trifecta or superfecta.

Selections

Win: Lockdownyourtown (4)

Place: Noroomformischief (3)

Show: Critikal Sense (5)

Betting Strategy

Box Lockdownyourtown (4) and Noroomformischief (3) in exactas, with Critikal Sense (5) used prominently underneath. Do not chase the 2-1 prices in straight win betting unless the tote board offers a late drift.

Race 7 — Post (3:55)/2:55/1:55/12:55 — 1540f | D | S | Md Sp Wt | BUM | Purse $120,000

Pace Analysis

The race appears light on committed early speed. Rules And Regs (5), Aegis (3), Dancin In Old Town (4), and Love Divine (8) should be close to the pace, but there is no obvious need for a contested opening half-mile.

That makes Cartier Gold (9) especially interesting. He can attack from the outside, avoid traffic, and use a controlled pace to launch a sustained run. Aegis (3) is the class horse, but the likely pace gives Cartier Gold (9) a better chance than the odds indicate.

Key Contenders

Aegis (3) is the morning-line favorite with Irad Ortiz. The inside-middle post is ideal, and the horse should have every opportunity to secure a stalking trip. He is the most likely winner, but the 2-1 price offers limited value.

Rules And Regs (5) is the principal alternative at 3-1. The horse should be forwardly placed and may be difficult to pass if the leaders are allowed to establish a comfortable rhythm.

Cartier Gold (9) is the top value selection. He draws the attack post, faces a race described as light on pace, and is making his second start at the distance. The horse has already beaten more than half the field in both starts, and Luis Saez retains the mount. The one concern is the trainer's reported 0-for-13 record second off this type of layoff.

Secondary Choices

Dancin In Old Town (4) is a logical exacta horse with a rider capable of keeping him in contention. Love Divine (8) has enough tactical speed to remain involved, although the outside post may lead to a wide trip.

Magic Woman (2) is usable underneath at 6-1. The inside draw should help, but the horse needs to show a stronger finishing kick.

Longshots

Get Into It (6) is a legitimate 15-1 closer if the race unexpectedly heats up. Shewontbudge (1) and M's Mabee Baby (7) are longer-shot possibilities for the bottom of trifectas, though both require substantial improvement.

Selections

Win: Cartier Gold (9)

Place: Aegis (3)

Show: Rules And Regs (5)

Betting Strategy

Cartier Gold (9) is the best win-value horse in the race at 6-1 or higher. Use Cartier Gold (9) and Aegis (3) in exactas over Rules And Regs (5), Dancin In Old Town (4), Love Divine (8), and Magic Woman (2). A small exacta saver with Aegis (3) over Cartier Gold (9) is appropriate.

Race 8 — Post (4:25)/3:25/2:25/1:25 — 1210f | T | AO | OClm 80000n2x | BUN | Purse $134,000

Pace Analysis

This is the most difficult race on the card because 15 turf sprinters are entered. The large field creates a strong possibility of a quick pace and traffic entering the turn. Corona De Oro (4), Ortley Avenue (5), Twilight Delight (11), and Cheval De Guerre (15) should be forwardly involved, while Initialize (1), Smokey Smokey (6), and Our Starry Night (8) may stalk.

The inside post is not automatically an advantage in a large turf sprint because a horse can become trapped behind tiring rivals. A clean outside run could be decisive, making Corona De Oro (4), Mountain Bear (12), and Cheval De Guerre (15) especially interesting if they secure clear lanes.

Key Contenders

Corona De Oro (4) is the top selection and the strongest value play of the entire card. He is listed at 15-1 and has been identified as a best bet. His position just inside the main speed group should allow Brian Hernandez to secure a stalking trip without being forced wide.

Initialize (1) is the most logical favorite among the shorter-priced horses. Irad Ortiz can save ground, but the rail creates a risk of traffic in a field this large.

Ortley Avenue (5) is another serious contender at 4-1. Tyler Gaffalione should be able to place him close to the pace, but he must avoid getting caught in a speed duel.

Twilight Delight (11) is a useful secondary contender. Jose Ortiz gives the horse a capable rider, and the outside-middle position may provide a clearer path than the inside posts.

Secondary Choices

Smokey Smokey (6) is a steady inclusion in exactas and trifectas. Our Starry Night (8) is another logical contender who could benefit from a pace collapse.

Mountain Bear (12) has appeal at 8-1 because the outside draw may help him avoid traffic. Ganaas (10) is also usable if he gets a clean stalking trip.

Longshots

Bal A Kazoo (2) and Sprint Out Pass (3) are both 30-1 and need substantial improvement, but either could pass tired horses if the pace is excessive. Utopian (7) has enough ability to complete a deep exotic.

Moon Sniper (9), The Minkster (13), B D Valeski (14), and Cheval De Guerre (15) are the remaining outsiders. Cheval De Guerre (15) is the most attractive of that group because the outside post can provide a clear path, while B D Valeski (14) and The Minkster (13) are more dependent on a complete pace collapse.

Selections

Win: Corona De Oro (4)

Place: Initialize (1)

Show: Ortley Avenue (5)

Betting Strategy

Corona De Oro (4) should be used as a strong win and place wager at 10-1 or higher. Spread aggressively in exactas because of the 15-horse field. Key Corona De Oro (4) over Initialize (1), Ortley Avenue (5), Twilight Delight (11), Smokey Smokey (6), Mountain Bear (12), and Our Starry Night (8).

For trifectas, use Corona De Oro (4), Initialize (1), and Ortley Avenue (5) on top, with Twilight Delight (11), Smokey Smokey (6), Mountain Bear (12), Our Starry Night (8), and Cheval De Guerre (15) underneath.

Race 9 — Post (4:55)/3:55/2:55/1:55 — 1320f | D | M | Md 20000 | BUM | Purse $48,000

Pace Analysis

This maiden claiming sprint contains several horses capable of showing early speed, including Yasmin (5), Once Upon A Time (6), Sharp Mindset (8), and Wado Wave (12). Flaming Mama (14) and Givemethebeat (15) could also be forwardly placed but risk losing ground from outside posts.

The pace should be honest rather than extreme. The best trip likely belongs to a horse positioned just behind the leaders, with enough room to launch before the final sixteenth.

Key Contenders

Yasmin (5) is the top selection at 4-1. The post is favorable, and the horse should receive a clean stalking trip without the traffic concerns faced by the outside runners.

Sharp Mindset (8) is the primary danger. Joe Sharp and Yomar Ortiz have a well-positioned horse at a fair price, and the middle draw should allow several tactical options.

Once Upon A Time (6) is another serious contender at 5-1. The horse should be close to the pace and is well placed to capitalize if the leaders weaken.

Secondary Choices

Perpetua (2) gets a useful inside post and should save ground. Diamondintherough (10) has enough speed to be competitive but may need to avoid a wide trip.

Wado Wave (12) is a dangerous secondary choice if Cristian Torres can secure position before the turn. Givemethebeat (15) has a capable rider but faces the most difficult trip from the far outside.

Longshots

Market Strategy (1) is a possible underneath horse if he breaks cleanly and saves ground. Nyad (7) can improve with a favorable stalking trip.

Mo Biscuit (3), No Mo Rags (4), Strawberry Float (11), Buckeye Favorite (13), and Action Player (9) are the remaining longshots. Buckeye Favorite (13) and Mo Biscuit (3) are the more realistic candidates for the bottom of a trifecta, while Action Player (9) faces the steepest task at 50-1.

Selections

Win: Yasmin (5)

Place: Sharp Mindset (8)

Show: Once Upon A Time (6)

Betting Strategy

Use Yasmin (5) and Sharp Mindset (8) in exacta combinations with Once Upon A Time (6), Perpetua (2), Wado Wave (12), and Diamondintherough (10). Market Strategy (1), Nyad (7), and Buckeye Favorite (13) are appropriate additions to larger trifecta tickets.

Jockey Notes and Insights

Irad Ortiz has mounts on Discotheque (9), Chambersville (2), Guns Allowed (4), Vaporetti (8), Aegis (3), and Initialize (1). His best opportunities appear to be Chambersville (2), Guns Allowed (4), Aegis (3), and Initialize (1), with traffic management particularly important aboard Initialize (1) in the large Race 8 field.

Jose Ortiz rides Risk It (1), Feral (4), Macchiato (5), Lahainaluna (5), Spill The Sugar (9), Love Divine (8), and Twilight Delight (11). His strongest value assignments are Feral (4), Macchiato (5), and Twilight Delight (11). The retention of the rider on Feral (4) was specifically cited as a positive.

Tyler Gaffalione rides One More Freud (3), The Hidden Chamber (4), Greystone (4), and Ortley Avenue (5). Greystone (4) and Ortley Avenue (5) are his most prominent win candidates.

Luis Saez has mounts on Esmark (3), Caragogo (7), Cartier Gold (9), Moon Sniper (9), and Cheval De Guerre (15). Cartier Gold (9) is his most attractive price assignment and receives positive handicapping support.

Brian Hernandez rides Catch The Breeze (6), Grant's Gretchen (7), Corona De Oro (4), and Perpetua (2). Corona De Oro (4) is the key mount and the principal longshot opportunity on the program.

Trainer Notes and Insights

Steven Asmussen has Risk It (1), Ravens Dream (6), Macchiato (5), Private Show (8), and Love Divine (8). Macchiato (5) is the most appealing of the group, while Risk It (1) is a serious early-race contender.

Michael Maker has Rapoport (1), Greystone (4), and Initialize (1). Rapoport (1) is the best value among the Maker runners, while Initialize (1) must overcome the traffic risk of the rail in Race 8.

Brad Cox sends out Guns Allowed (4) and Vaporetti (8). Both are major contenders, with Guns Allowed (4) preferred on class and Vaporetti (8) preferred as a price-sensitive turf wager.

Joe Sharp has Pulling Threads (5), Lahainaluna (5), and Aegis (3). Pulling Threads (5) is the most attractive price, while Aegis (3) is the most likely winner of the three.

The Tomlinson stable has Feral (4), Riyah Al Nil (6), and Enticing Moves (11). Feral (4) receives the strongest stable angle, including a reported 19 percent record with this type of layoff.

Best Wagering Strategies and Value Plays

The strongest win-value horses are Feral (4) in Race 1, Rapoport (1) in Race 2, Cartier Gold (9) in Race 7, Corona De Oro (4) in Race 8, and Yasmin (5) in Race 9.

The best single is Guns Allowed (4) in Race 3 if the odds remain near the 2-1 morning line. A secondary multi-race single is Lockdownyourtown (4) in Race 6, although the presence of Noroomformischief (3) makes that race better suited to an exacta box.

The most attractive exacta structures are Feral (4) over Discotheque (9), Rapoport (1) over Chambersville (2), Guns Allowed (4) over Macchiato (5), Cartier Gold (9) over Aegis (3), and Yasmin (5) over Sharp Mindset (8).

A practical Pick 5 approach beginning with Race 5 is:

Race 5: Vaporetti (8), Greystone (4), Lahainaluna (5)

Race 6: Lockdownyourtown (4), Noroomformischief (3), Critikal Sense (5)

Race 7: Cartier Gold (9), Aegis (3), Rules And Regs (5)

Race 8: Corona De Oro (4), Initialize (1), Ortley Avenue (5), Twilight Delight (11), Smokey Smokey (6), Mountain Bear (12)

Race 9: Yasmin (5), Sharp Mindset (8), Once Upon A Time (6), Perpetua (2), Wado Wave (12)

The most aggressive value ticket singles Corona De Oro (4) in Race 8 and Cartier Gold (9) in Race 7, then spreads in the large-field turf sprint. The conservative ticket uses Guns Allowed (4) as a Race 3 single and keeps the Race 8 coverage centered on Corona De Oro (4), Initialize (1), Ortley Avenue (5), and Twilight Delight (11).
