Belmont Park — November 8, 2026 Handicapper Selections

Cooler and mainly dry with a fast dirt track and firm turf expected. A west wind of 10–15 mph may create challenges for wide runners, particularly on the first turn. Inside and middle posts hold a slight advantage in dirt routes, while turf races reward tactical positioning over pure front-running.

Race 1 — 1M Dirt | Allowance | $105,000 | 12:40 PM

Hullabaloo Ray Ray (3) is the clear top choice after a sharp second-start improvement and should control the pace in a compact five-horse field. Its Saturday Night (2) is the logical alternative if the favorite regresses. Rhythm Riot (1) can save ground from the rail and is worth including underneath at a price.

Race 2 — 1 1/8M Turf | Claiming | $53,000 | 1:10 PM

Intothewilderness (7) is the value selection at 6-1, well positioned to benefit if the speed horses press each other into defeat. Twirly (6) offers the most balanced profile among the shorter-priced runners, with a clean middle draw and a stalking trip available. Raging Bloom (8) is the morning-line favorite to oppose, as the extreme outside draw adds unnecessary trip risk.

Race 3 — 1 3/16M Turf | Maiden Special Weight | $100,000 | 1:40 PM

Candidly (4) gets the preferred middle post and should secure a clean stalking trip, making her the top selection over Runyon Canyon (3), who can save ground and produce a sustained move from just off the pace. Hypnotica (1) has the strongest class appeal at 2-1 but faces rail traffic risk in a slow-pace scenario. Yurak (2) is worth including at the bottom of exotics at 8-1.

Race 4 — 1 3/16M Dirt | Claiming | $48,000 | 2:10 PM

Elko County (2) is the best value on the card in this race, drawing inside and profiling perfectly as a stalker if Franklin Delano (4) and Hot Property (6) battle for early supremacy. Franklin Delano (4) is the most credible of the two speed horses given his forward-running style and tactical post. E Z Bourbon (3) is the best long-price inclusion for exotics.

Race 5 — 7F Turf | Maiden Claiming | $59,000 | 2:41 PM

Frenchquarter Note (5) gets the most favorable combination of post and pace position in a field with several speed horses, and the 3-1 price is acceptable for a win wager. Munny Problem (1) is a serious threat from the rail if a clear path emerges in the stretch. Battle (8) is the standout price horse at 8-1 and deserves strong placement in exactas and trifectas.

Race 6 — 1M Turf | Maiden Special Weight | $100,000 | 3:12 PM

Norah Begorrah (3) is the strongest value play of the day at 12-1, holding a favorable post and a cleaner projected trip than either co-favorite. Sellonthenews (4) is preferred over Inflect (11) among the 2-1 favorites strictly because of the post-position advantage, though Inflect remains a serious threat if PRAT can secure cover early. Harmony Mill (9) and Royal Victoria (1) round out the exotics at fair prices.

Race 7 — 1M Dirt | Allowance/Optional Claiming | $108,000 | 3:43 PM

Dreamlike (4) is the top selection, holding the inside position relative to even-money favorite Time To Win (5) and offering better win value at 2-1. Secured Landing (2) is the most appealing secondary choice at 8-1, with a rail draw suited to a patient trip and a solid historical edge over Kinetic (1). Adero (3) at 6-1 is the best trifecta inclusion if the favorites engage each other early.

Race 8 — 1M Dirt | Maiden Claiming | $38,000 | 4:14 PM

Sfumato (3) is preferred over shorter-priced Where's Your Boom (4) on value grounds, with prior form at Saratoga and a ground-saving post supporting the selection. True Adirondacker (1) can produce an economical rail trip and is better than the 6-1 price implies. Authentic Legend (6) and Mr R T (7) are both usable in deeper exacta and trifecta tickets.
