Century Mile — June 6, 2026 Condensed Selections

Fast main track expected all day with a slight northwest breeze. Inside posts carry a clear advantage in sprints; the bias moderates in routes but pace-pressing types from Posts 1–4 remain favored. The Tim Rycroft–Gonzalez partnership is the dominant stable angle across the card, and co-favorites at 2-1 in multiple races are vulnerable to 4-1 price horses with better draws.

Race 1 — 350f | Maiden Sprint

Totoughforyou (4) is the top selection at 4-1, holding a significant post advantage over co-favorites Calamity Jane 123 (6) and She My Dulce Girl (7) drawn in the two widest posts at the shortest distance on the card. Splash Mountain Mia (3) is a secondary choice from another favorable inside draw. Inseperable Cruise (1) at 15-1 deserves minor exotic inclusion from the rail.

Race 2 — 1540f | Maiden Optional Claimer

Dr Broker (1) from the rail in a five-horse route is the play, with pace control likely and the Rycroft–Gonzalez combination providing the key trainer-jockey angle. Genie's Ride (4) and Bizness Account (5) are the main threats as the co-favorites. No legitimate longshots in the compressed five-horse field.

Race 3 — 1540f | Claiming $12,000

They Call Me Tom (4) at 4-1 is the value play if co-favorites Aintafraidtodream (1) and Why Nots A Wynner (3) contest the early pace and compromise each other. Dreaming D'oro (5) is a secondary closer to consider if pace is honest. Tango For The Soul (6) at 20-1 is too long to trust except in wide exotics.

Race 4 — 1320f | Open Claimer $25,000

Bar Down Express (1) from the rail in a six-horse sprint is the top selection with the best post and top rider. Accidental Genius (3) at 4-1 with the Rycroft–Gonzalez angle from a clean inside draw is the strongest value play on the card through the first half. Pioneer Storm King (5) is the other co-favorite and main pace threat.

Race 5 — 1540f | Open Claimer $17,000

Twickenham (2) at even money is the dominant public choice from an excellent post, and the Condilenios barn confidence makes it difficult to oppose. Sonofaghost (4) at 2-1 is the only credible alternative for the win. River Rock Fire (6) at 6-1 is the best-priced secondary option for exacta use if the favorite is vulnerable.

Race 6 — 1320f | Allowance

King Elvis (3) at 2-1 is the top selection from a clean post with the Rycroft–Gonzalez combination again. Horatio (1) at 5-1 from the rail with the Condilenios barn is the strongest value counterpart for exacta pairing. Flashfordani (2) at 4-1 from Post 2 is a legitimate secondary threat that cannot be ignored.

Race 7 — 1320f | $50,000 Charity Challenge

Playful (4) at even money is the clear key, best used as an exacta anchor rather than a straight win bet at the price. Queen Pat (1) at 4-1 from the rail is the top value underneath, while What A Force (6) at 4-1 with the Rycroft barn is the most interesting alternative win play. Sunny Wishes (2) at 5-1 from Post 2 offers strong place value at a fair price.

Race 8 — 1320f | $50,000 Western Canadian Championship

Big Curl (4) at 4-1 is the top selection, combining the Rycroft–Gonzalez pairing with a neutral-to-favorable post in the feature. Helioo (1) at 8-1 from the rail is the day's best-priced value play given the Century Mile sprint bias. Kamal (3) at 10-1 with Richard Balgobin from an excellent Post 3 draw is the strongest longshot for trifecta and exacta use, while Debrusk (9) at 2-1 from the outside post is the public choice to fade.

Race 9 — 1430f | Claiming $6,000

Silent Count (1) at 3-1 from the rail is the top selection, with the Rycroft rail-route angle highlighted throughout the card. Deal Em (5) at 2-1 is the morning line choice and primary threat. Kangaroo Coast (9) at 15-1 with Gonzalez taking an unusual outside booking away from the Rycroft horses is the day's best longshot angle and deserves trifecta and superfecta inclusion.
