Charles Town Races — June 27, 2026 Quick Reference Card

Fast, sealed main track expected throughout the evening under partly cloudy skies. Inside posts carry a pronounced advantage in sprint races; route races are somewhat more forgiving to outside draws. Jeiron Barbosa is the jockey to follow all card.

Race 1 — 990f | Clm 15000n2l

Snitch Dorada (6) towers over this field on class and is the clear top choice despite the outside post. Mitoleisdynamite (1) and Additional Factor (2) are the Farrior double entry from ideal inside posts and both deserve exacta and trifecta coverage. Shessweetlikecandy (3) at 8-1 offers modest value as a price alternative.

Race 2 — 1430f | Clm 5000b

Sweet N Tricky (1) gets the rail at nine furlongs, the single biggest advantage on the card in a route. Laughintothebank (3) is the logical second choice from a favorable post at the same 2-1 price. Lovely Odds (6) at 4-1 is the recommended trifecta closer.

Race 3 — 990f | Clm 5000n3l

Remy's Top Gun (5) is the morning line choice but the real value play is Vissim (3) at 4-1 with Barbosa from post three. Moon Rox (2) from the Contreras barn at 3-1 is a solid secondary choice from a good inside post. Chelsea's Dream (6) at 6-1 is worth a small trifecta inclusion as a Shanley price runner.

Race 4 — 990f | Clm 15000n2x

Jlodiamond (5) is the 2-1 morning line favorite and must be respected, but Diakonissa (4) at 4-1 with Barbosa is the best value play in the race. Dixie Yodeler (2) rounds out the trifecta from an excellent inside post at 4-1. Use all three in a box.

Race 5 — 1540f | Md Sp Wt

Policy Change (2) is the top choice at 2-1 in this maiden route, with stamina the deciding factor at ten furlongs. Hard Stance (1) with Barbosa from the rail is the more interesting of the Farrior double entry and should be used alongside stablemate Charge It Baby (4) in all exotics. Scar Nose (8) at 4-1 is the best closer to include in trifecta coverage.

Race 6 — 1430f | Clm 10000n2l

Amama (7) is the dominant choice at 2-1 and remains the top selection despite the wide post. Fancy Conchita (10) at 3-1 and Preshow Hype (2) at 4-1 are the preferred exacta and trifecta alternatives, with Preshow Hype (2) holding a post position edge in the route. Honey I'm Broke (4) at 4-1 is worth including in superfecta coverage.

Race 7 — 990f | OClm 25000b

Iceberg Slim (1) at 1-1 from the rail is the logical top selection but offers no win value. Hey Boots (2) at 6-1 with Barbosa from post two is the best single value play on the entire card and is recommended as a win bet. Pork Chop Pete (3) and Time To Rock (6) at 4-1 each round out trifecta coverage, with Uncle Chinito (5) at 5-1 as a secondary addition.

Race 8 — 990f | Clm 5000b

Nola Boss (2) at 3-1 from the ideal inside post is the recommended upset play over even-money Talkin Pharoah (11) stuck at the widest post in the field. Pops Harper (8) at 4-1 with Barbosa is the trifecta key, with Mon Gateau (9) at 5-1 rounding out coverage. Play the exacta both ways between Nola Boss (2) and Talkin Pharoah (11).
