Finger Lakes Racetrack — October 20, 2026

Fast track expected throughout; inside posts favored in routes, posts 1-4 advantaged in sprints. Dual-entry barns (Barrow, Ferraro, Acquilano, Marino) are the defining angle of the card. Lean toward stalkers and closers in the larger fields where pace figures to be contested.

Race 1

Serra (5) is the class of the field and should control or press the pace from a middle post. By Mink Standards (3) is the best value at 4-1, ideally placed to close into whatever pace duel develops up front. Rumblyoungmanrumbl (2) is the main pace rival and the logical place horse.

Race 2

Tiz's Cupcake (4) and Solo Belle (2) share chalk status and are the race. Lady On The Lam (3) is the most useful saver at 4-1 if the co-favorites set each other up. Nice Try Cat (1) at 5-1 deserves a trifecta look from the inside post.

Race 3

Beauty's Bangle (1) is perfectly drawn at the rail for a seven-furlong sprint and is the top selection at 2-1. Foxy Cara (3) is the co-favorite and a legitimate threat, while Bustinroxy (6) at 5-1 is the most appealing overlay if the two chalk horses burn each other up early. The Marino double-entry of Foxy Cara (3) and Sweet Tooth Sue (4) is worth a small trifecta inclusion.

Race 4

Last Drink (4) is the straightforward top selection at 2-1 from a neutral middle post. Bad Joke (1) at 4-1 is the best value play of the race, with Coa from the rail representing a live Arnett barn combo that has fired repeatedly this meet. Disco Dancer (3) at 6-1 is the closing threat to add underneath if the pace gets honest.

Race 5

Motown Omi (4) at 3-1 is the morning line choice with the ideal post to stalk and pounce in what figures to be a hot nine-horse pace. Big Advantage (7) at 4-1 is the most interesting Barrow barn runner given the closing setup, and Nurse Bunny (2) at 4-1 offers inside tactical flexibility as the other Barrow entry. Heavens Lee (3) and Ring Of The Rise (6) at 6-1 each are the best longshot options for trifecta coverage.

Race 6

Bajan Sugar (4) at 2-1 is the feature favorite and the logical single for multi-race sequences. Locked Horns (3) at 3-1 is the most compelling alternative in what is a sharp Barrow barn entry alongside Mindyourmanners (5). Follow The Prints (2) at 6-1 is the best-value longshot, perfectly drawn to stalk the pace, while the dual Ferraro entry of Johnny Castle (1) and Mr Rigatoni (6) both deserve trifecta inclusion.

Race 7

Our Preferred Pal (4) at 2-1 is the class of the field and the race single. Last Glory (3) at 3-1 is the primary pace rival, and Lipan Law (1) at 4-1 with Coa from the rail is the best overlay on the board in this race. Rumint (2) and Moontown (6) at 6-1 each round out trifecta coverage.

Race 8

Successful Agenda (9) at 2-1 is the market's clear choice despite the wide draw and should be respected. Wayward Queen (1) at 3-1 has every tactical advantage from the inside rail in a route and is the most natural pace-controller. Flying Phoebe (4) and the Acquilano second entry Volamo (5) at 8-1 are the trifecta fill horses, with Maize Loved Laffy (2) at 6-1 worth adding from the inside post in longer-shot combinations.
