Pick Pony Condensed Report — Finger Lakes, October 27, 2026

Fast dirt track favors early speed in sprints; lone-speed scenarios are dangerous in the three route races (1, 4, 7). Ferraro/Coa is the card's dominant angle — follow it throughout.

Race 1 — Allowance, 11½f

Beach Invasion (3) is the top selection from the dominant Ferraro/Coa combination, with Free Dance (7) an equally respected threat from the Englehart barn. Maturation (1) is the trifecta fill if the pace gets honest early.

Race 2 — Maiden Claiming $11,000, 6½f

She's A Goddess (1) offers the best value at 4-1 with the Ferraro/Coa combination in a winnable spot. Lively Pal (5) is the main threat via the strong Englehart maiden angle. Froghollowsummer (2) is the morning line favorite but is beatable at 2-1.

Race 3 — Claiming $4,000 NW1Y, 6f

Hypnocurrency (6) and My Royal Vow (3) are co-favorites at 2-1 and form the core exacta box. Peggy Rules (1) at 4-1 is the trifecta inclusion; skip the two double-digit longshots.

Race 4 — Claiming $5,000 NW3L, 11½f

Grand Warrior (5) at 5-1 is the value play with Ferraro/Coa indicating barn preference over stablemate Percy (3). Celtic Prince (4) at 2-1 is the morning line favorite and deserves respect. Notfanutin (6) at 4-1 is a live trifecta threat as Gutterson's preferred runner.

Race 5 — Claiming $5,000, 6½f

Breaking Stones (3) from a favorable middle post is the top selection in a chaotic nine-horse field. Three Little Birds (9) and Double Shot (2) are the main pace threats to include underneath. Profitability (8) at 6-1 and Heads Or Tails (1) at 8-1 are worth trifecta coverage if pace melts down.

Race 6 — Claiming $11,000 NW3L, 6f

Hidden Vase (1) at 4-1 with Coa aboard is the best value angle on the race. Red Burgundy (3) is the public's 3-1 choice and the main threat. Lovely Pashyn (4) at 4-1 rounds out trifecta coverage from an excellent middle draw.

Race 7 — Allowance Feature, 11½f

Hey Pal (8) is the card's featured win play with Ferraro/Coa in the richest purse. Gray Haired Gus (2) is the most credible alternative from a clean inside draw. Isola D'oro (4) and Take The Gold (5) round out trifecta coverage; Fiscal Drag (7) and Ducky Medwick (3) can be dismissed.

Race 8 — Claiming $5,000, 6f

Cinnamon Sugar (6) and Blue Eyed Scout (3) are co-favorites at 2-1 and form the exacta core. Grand Lady Indy (1) at 5-1 with Coa is the best alternative win play. Thin Legs (4) at 4-1 is a trifecta inclusion; Numeric (2) and Tumbles (7) can be omitted entirely.
