Gulfstream Park — Saturday, June 27, 2026 — Quick Reference Card

Partly cloudy with afternoon thunderstorm risk; main track expected fast early, possibly good-to-sloppy by mid-card. Speed favors inside posts at sprint distances; closers get more opportunity in the nine-furlong stakes routes. Monitor track conditions ahead of the later stakes races.

Race 1

Fuoco Vivo (7) is the deserving 2-1 favorite with a pace-pressing style that suits the distance. War Warrior (5) and Lodato (2) are the logical exacta fillers. Majestic Noir (4) at 6-1 is the mild overlay longshot worth including in trifectas.

Race 2

Anamnestic (4) edges co-favorite Full Nelson (1) as the top selection based on post position and rider. K. C. Chief (2) and The Honeyman (3) are reasonable trifecta candidates at 4-1. Exotic value is limited with two co-favorites dominating the morning line.

Race 3

Mindful Grace (5) is the correct single at 1-1 for the dominant trainer-jockey combination at this meet. Victorious Secret (3) and Baronia (4) are the best upset alternatives at 4-1. Use Mindful Grace (5) on top in all exotics and consider a small reverse exacta with Victorious Secret (3) for upset coverage.

Race 4

Sky Over Kingston (2) is the 1-1 morning line choice in a manageable six-horse field. Lady Question (1) at 2-1 and Evanora (4) at 3-1 complete a logical trifecta box with the favorite. Miss Magical (6) at 4-1 is worth adding to exacta coverage as a fourth option.

Race 5

Brooklyn Guy (5) leads at 3-1 in a competitive field with multiple 4-1 horses. Brother Brad (6) and Dime Papi (3) are the primary exacta threats; Zozan (7) rounds out the trifecta box. O Captain (8) at 5-1 is worth a small play given the outside post is manageable at a mile.

Race 6

Exquisite (2) is the overwhelming 0-1 favorite and the correct single for the Joseph-Husbands combination. Janana Han (6) at 2-1 is the best upset play on the entire card and the most logical exacta alternative. Whirlawar (3) at 6-1 is the only other horse worth including in trifecta coverage.

Race 7

Maitre D (6) at 1-1 is the sharpest signal from the Hurtak barn and a straightforward single. Fast Fixer (5) and Readier (3) at 4-1 are the best exacta fillers. Beauty Bolt (4) at 12-1 with Husbands aboard is worth a small speculative win ticket.

Race 8

Ramajay (4) is the Joseph barn's preferred runner based on the Husbands assignment and is keyed on top in all exotics. Wayne's Law (5) at 2-1 is the strongest outside-barn threat and belongs in every exacta and trifecta. Langvad (3) at 4-1 and One Hundred Kings (7) at 6-1 are the best secondary fillers for trifecta depth.

Race 9

Indy Bay (3) is the standout single on the card, a Grade II winner returning in dominant form with the top rider. Just A Philly (7) at 4-1 is the best value among non-Joseph horses and the primary upset threat. Kerry's Kiss (4) and Cooey (1) provide Joseph barn coverage across trifecta positions.

Race 10

Sabian (5) at 3-1 leads for an active barn in peak form at this meet. Augustinian (6) at 6-1 for the Casse stable is the best value play of the race and deserves strong exacta inclusion alongside the favorite. Built By Khozan (1) at 8-1 with Husbands is the card's most intriguing speculative win ticket to close the afternoon.
