Horseshoe Indianapolis — April 29, 2026 Quick Card

Mild spring conditions with low-60s temps and a possible mid-card shower; track is fast early with a front-speed bias that could soften for closers by Race 6 or later. Inside posts favor sprinters in clean fields; middle posts are ideal for the Quarter Horse finale.

Race 1 — 1210f | Clm 5000b

Dan's Candi Girl (9) is the class of this basement field and should press or control from the outside. Airforce Lightning (1) gets the rail and could steal on a lone front-running trip. Honey Red (3) is the third wheel, with Teardrop Tiara (5) a longshot if pace heats up.

Race 2 — 1320f | Alw 41000n1x

Imminent Forecast (4) is the strongest single on the early card in a spot that fits perfectly. Concho's Prayer (1) is the main threat from the rail, with Grey Eclipse (3) worth including in exotics as a closing alternative.

Race 3 — 1320f | Md Sp Wt (Fillies)

Grand Oz (5) holds a class edge from a favorable middle post in a wide-open maiden field. Jr Miss Buttercup (1) is the primary rival if she clears early to the rail. Cafe Culture (6) at 6-1 is the best value in the race, with Snow Bunny (2) rounding out trifecta tickets.

Race 4 — 1210f | Clm 12500b

El Rosillo (5) is the controlling speed from a clean middle post and is the straightforward win choice. Spotonjustice (3) and Sound Doctrine (1) are both live threats in what shapes as a genuine three-horse battle. Me And Chili (4) is the best closer if pace gets contested early.

Race 5 — 1320f | Md Sp Wt (Fillies)

Party In The Club (8) opens at 1-1 and dominates the morning line, though the outside post and maiden conditions warrant caution. Filly Named Bruzz (2) is the most logical threat from a stalking position, with So Salty (5) co-second at 4-1. Miss Candy Pop (4) at 6-1 could steal it on the lead if unchallenged.

Race 6 — 1320f | Md 12500 (Fillies/Mares)

Earl's Lady (7) is the Klopp barn's preferred runner in a double entry and is the single here. Juanita Mychiquita (4) and Vaedra (5) are both 4-1 rivals capable of beating the favorite. Spirit Moves Me (8), the Klopp secondary at 15-1, is worth a small trifecta inclusion in case the barn runs both to win.

Race 7 — 1320f | Alw 40000n2x

Gas Alley (3) controls pace from a clean draw and is the best overall single on the second half of the card. Face The Future (4) and Texas Free (6) are co-second choices at 4-1 each and figure prominently in exacta and trifecta construction. Hawkeye (2) at 6-1 is the most interesting exotic inclusion given the Haran barn's tactical double-entry flexibility.

Race 8 — 1760f | Alw 41000n1x

U R Not The Father (3) is the clear class horse in the route and the key single for the late card. Gotanotiontodrink (4) is the preferred Klopp entry and the logical second choice, with Mr Sledge Hammer (6) rounding out the Richardville barn double as a live 4-1 alternative. Whatnowdaddy (5) at 6-1 deserves trifecta consideration if the pace sets up for a presser.

Race 9 — 300f | Md Sp Wt (Quarter Horse)

Valiant Beacher (7) is the 1-1 favorite with an ideal middle post and is difficult to beat in the straight sprint. Klt Fursflyin (2) is the clear second choice at 2-1, and Kiss Of Corona (6) at 4-1 is the best value play on the entire card. Use Hez Political (13) and Mckenzie Foose (12) as trifecta savers from the outside posts.
