Pick Pony Condensed Handicapper Report — Horseshoe Indianapolis — October 27, 2026

Fast dirt, firm turf expected. Inside posts carry a meaningful edge on the turf course in the large fields of Races 6 and 7; mild inside-speed bias on dirt in the sprints. Gate quality is everything in Race 9.

Race 1 — 1320f | Dirt | Clm 15000n2l

Staymistyforme (1) gets the rail in an inside-speed-favoring sprint and is the top play at 4-1. Crumbl (4) is the logical favorite from the pivotal middle post. Troglodyte (3) tracks pace from a clean draw and rounds out the exotics.

Race 2 — 1320f | Dirt | OClm 100000n1x

Soul Of The Night (2) is a straightforward top selection from post 2 with a Hall of Fame trainer and the colony's best rider. Gin For Gem (7) is the most credible alternative at 3-1. My Kid's Said No (6) cannot be dismissed at the same 2-1 price as the top choice.

Race 3 — 1320f | Dirt | Alw 38000n1x

El Numero Uno (3) offers the best post in the field at 5-1 while both co-favorites draw wide. El Payasito (8) is the top outside threat and Rank Randy (10) has the best rider despite the extreme draw. Most Amazing (2) is a quiet value play at 8-1 from post 2.

Race 4 — 1760f | Turf | Clm 30000n2x

Si O Si (1) is the overlay of the race at 6-1 from the rail on a course that heavily rewards inside position. Justice Prevails (3) is ideally drawn at 5-1 and is the primary exacta partner. Tiz Wine Time (9) is the morning-line favorite but surrenders significant ground from post 9 in a 10-horse turf field.

Race 5 — 1210f | Dirt | Md 20000

El Jabali (2) gets a national trainer spotting a horse in a soft spot and an ideal post to control pace. Zimomo (8) is an equally respected co-favorite with a productive jockey. Croatoan (9) at 5-1 and My Awesome Gold (6) at 6-1 are the best trifecta fillers.

Race 6 — 1760f | Turf | Clm 12500b

Memphis Pharoah (1) from the rail at 5-1 is the top play in a chaotic 16-horse field where the inside draw is everything. Elevated Game (3) and Woodcock Flight (2) are the best-positioned secondary choices. St. Armands Key (16) is the morning-line favorite but post 16 in a 16-horse turf field is a severe structural disadvantage; Brit's Wit (6) is the Maker barn's tactical alternative at a better price from a far superior post.

Race 7 — 1760f | Turf | Alw 46240n1x

Cinquante Cinq (7) at 4-1 is the top value play with a capable turf rider from a workable post. Collective Beauty (3) gives a top trainer an ideal inside draw at 3-1 while the co-2-1 favorites Dreaming Of Joy (13) and Max (14) both draw near the outer extreme of a 16-horse field. Kenz (2) at 12-1 from the second-best post in the race is the overlay of the entire card and must be included in all exotic structures; Let's Go Barbie (1) at 10-1 from the rail is the other must-use longshot.

Race 8 — 1320f | Dirt | Md 15000

Easy Effort (3) is the best single win bet on the card — the colony's top rider, post 3, and a clear stable preference over the barn's second entry. Well Hey There (2) is the 2-1 favorite from an equally strong post and belongs in the place slot. Windy Storm (4) completes the West barn double-entry and rounds out the trifecta.

Race 9 — 250f | Dirt | Md Sp Wt

S Predestinado (4) and Miss Ktb 23 (6) share 2-1 co-favorite status from centrally located posts ideal for a quarter horse sprint. Eos Running Roxie (3) at 3-1 is the slight overlay of the three and draws well. Box all three in the exacta; add Aph Battle Captain (5) for trifecta depth.
