MOUNTAINEER PARK — PICK PONY CONDENSED REPORT | Wednesday, July 8, 2026

Warm, humid evening with no significant precipitation expected; main track should be fast, turf firm to good. Inside posts carry a modest edge in dirt sprints; posts four through seven are preferred in turf routes. Bernardini and Arroyo are the trainer-jockey combination to follow all card.

RACE 1 — 1320f | Dirt | Clm 5000n1x

Polyester Bride (1) is the top selection from the preferred inside post with co-favorite support. Legacy Trail (2) and Crystal Proof (6) are the primary alternatives if the rail horse gets pressured into a duel. Girl Bye (7) is the value option at 4-1 if pace collapses.

RACE 2 — 1760f | Turf | Clm 12500n3x

Royal Salute (6) is the clear barn preference from the Bernardini stable and gets the stalking trip this distance rewards. Bosley (9) and Westhampton (7) are the main threats at matching 4-1 odds. Analyst (4) at 6-1 is the sneaky value play if the favorite disappoints.

RACE 3 — 1760f | Turf | Clm 15000n2l

Mr Business (3) is the confirmed Bernardini preference in the largest field of the night and warrants top selection despite the modest 2-1 price. State Of Attack (8) at 3-1 is the most dangerous challenger and figures prominently early. Raji (4) at 5-1 is the value closer if pace gets contested.

RACE 4 — 1100f | Turf | Alw 22000b

Honeyquist (9) is the class of this allowance field and the card's most straightforward favorite. El Dandi (11) gets the superior jockey booking from the Acevedo barn and is the preferred secondary at 5-1. Blistering (8) at 12-1 merits a small win bet on the national trainer angle alone.

RACE 5 — 1210f | Dirt | Clm 12500n3x

My Lucky Deia (4) has the top rider and trainer preference and is the horse to beat in this sprint. Majestic Flame (3) and Little Sam's (1) are the main threats, with the rail post giving Little Sam's (1) a tactical edge. No meaningful longshot value exists in this field.

RACE 6 — 1210f | Dirt | Clm 7500n2x

A Little Bit Crazy (6) is the confirmed barn pick over stablemate She's So Bearrish (3) and gets the preferred jockey booking in a clean outside post. Everheart (2) shares the 2-1 co-favorite role and makes this effectively a two-horse race. Pasta Salad Rhonda (4) at 4-1 with a strong jockey is the best exotic alternative.

RACE 7 — 1210f | Dirt | Clm 7500n2x

Clearly Inish (4) earns the nod in a three-way 2-1 deadlock strictly on the strength of the Bernardini-Arroyo combination. Princess Azara (5) at 5-1 is the value play in exotics if the co-favorites press each other into a fast pace. Mariette (2) and Bien Fresa (3) are both live at equal odds and should not be dismissed.

RACE 8 — 1760f | Dirt | Clm 4000n2y

Thought (3) is the standout selection of the entire card on the trainer-jockey angle and is a mandatory straight win bet. Deadpan (8) at 4-1 with the superior jockey is the preferred secondary despite being the lighter-priced Farrior entry. Toast To Coast (4) at 8-1 with Arroyo is the only longshot worth including in exotics.
