Woodbine Handicapper Selections — July 10, 2026

Partly cloudy with mid-20s Celsius temperatures; possible late showers affecting Races 6-7. Main dirt track rated fast with a front-end bias favoring low-to-mid posts at sprint distances; turf firm for Race 4.

Race 1 — 1320f | Dirt | Maiden Claiming $10,000

Interim Analysis (3) is the top selection, ideally placed to stalk a likely pace duel from a perfect post. Sassagoula River (4) is equally dangerous and shares the 2-1 morning line. Smarter Still (7) is the most compelling longshot at 8-1 with a barn that enters horses with purpose.

Race 2 — 1320f | Dirt | Claiming $15,000 n2l

Devil's Tongue (2) controls from the inside and is dangerous if pace is moderate. Temple Hall (6) is the natural closer who benefits if the front end battles, with top rider support. Out N Out Disgrace (3) at 6-1 is the live longshot for exotic inclusion.

Race 3 — 1870f | Dirt | Claiming $7,500

Good Sin (3) is the favorite at 2-1 with a rider well-suited to routing distances and a conditioner who places accurately. C C's Kingdom (6) at 3-1 is the main danger from a strategically active barn. Chancel (1) at 5-1 from the rail is worth including underneath in trifectas.

Race 4 — 1100f | Turf | Maiden Optional Claiming $40,000 (Feature)

Rose Fortune (4) is the top selection with a top trainer-jockey combination at the card's highest purse level. Alpha Gamma Girl (3) is equally live at 2-1 and the two co-favorites are separated by very little on merit. Plantanita (1) at 6-1 from the inside rail is too well-positioned in a turf sprint to ignore in trifectas.

Race 5 — 1320f | Dirt | Claiming $15,000

Spirit Bear (1) gets the nod at 2-1 with pace control from the inside rail in a manageable field. Prima (4) is the main threat at 3-1, ideally placed to pounce if the leader gets caught. Rocket Riley (6) at 6-1 is the value longshot if fractions get honest up front.

Race 6 — 1210f | Dirt | Claiming $25,000 n2l

Kimberlina (7) is the morning line favorite at 2-1 for one of Woodbine's most accomplished claiming operations. Episode (4) at 3-1 from a perfect stalking post is the most dangerous rival and could easily reverse the result. Tabei (6) at 8-1 is the trifecta value slot in a pace meltdown scenario.

Race 7 — 1430f | Dirt | Claiming $7,500 n2l

Miah Said (5) is the best value play of the closing race at 3-1 with the card's top rider in a stalking role. Road To Versailles (4) at 2-1 is the pace-controlling favorite who wins if left alone on the front end. Miss D's Pride (2) at 4-1 from an ideal post is the most logical trifecta fill.
