Woodbine Handicapper Selections — July 24, 2026

Partly cloudy, mid-to-upper 20s Celsius, fast dirt and firm-to-good inner turf expected. Speed bias on dirt favors early position; inner turf routes favor stalkers from inside-to-middle posts.

Race 1 — 1870f | Dirt | Clm 7500n2l

My Boy Bruce (1) gets the rail advantage in a two-turn dirt route and is the clear top choice at 2-1. Allbetsareoff (5) at 3-1 is the best value play if early speed duels develop. Monday Morning (4) at 6-1 is worth a trifecta slot as a stalker with price appeal.

Race 2 — 1870f | Turf | Clm 25000b

Stratus (2) is the play at 3-1 against the heavily-bet chalk, sitting perfectly to stalk from post 2. Bankingonamiracle (8) at 4-1 closes from outside if pace is genuine. Motion Granted (6) at 8-1 is a trifecta price play if tempo heats up early.

Race 3 — 1210f | Dirt | Clm 7500b

Armstrong (5) at 1-1 is the dominant speed and projects to wire the field, though the short price kills win value. Heaven's Champion (4) at 2-1 is the primary challenger. Focus on the exacta rather than win betting; Cut'em Loose (3) at 4-1 rounds out a three-way box.

Race 4 — 1760f | Turf | Moc 25000

Sanhedrin (4) is the standout angle bet of the mid-card — Tino Attard's turf maiden record at Woodbine is exceptional and the 3-1 morning line is workable. Night Striker (5) at 2-1 is the chalk and the primary exacta partner underneath. Holy Rambo (1) at 6-1 from the rail is a legitimate trifecta threat under good-to-firm conditions.

Race 5 — 1210f | Dirt | Moc 25000

Baccaro Point (7) is selected over co-favorite B The King (1) based on the outside post's clean sprint path. Both at 2-1 compress win value; target the exacta. Sure Shot Timber (5) at 4-1 and Marshalltown (2) at 6-1 are the trifecta connectors if the co-favorites duel each other into submission.

Race 6 — 1540f | Dirt | Clm 7500

Dissectologist (3) at 2-1 is the class of this nine-horse field and the selection despite chalk pricing. Banker's Hours (4) and Awe Inspired (8), both at 4-1, are the primary exacta threats underneath. Cadfael (9) at 6-1 is worth a trifecta slot as a closer if pace is honest.

Race 7 — 1760f | Turf | Moc 25000

Go Go Alexander (5) at 3-1 carries the Tino Attard turf maiden angle for the second time today and is the top selection. Fin Del Mundo (3) at 2-1 will press or lead and is dangerous if allowed a soft pace. Oceanography (9) at 4-1 with Emma Jayne Wilson is the closer to use in trifectas if the front two hook up.

Race 8 — 1430f | Dirt | Clm 15000b

Fracen Macho (7) at 2-1 is the morning-line choice in the day's biggest field of 12. Dontgobackonurword (12) at 3-1 is the barn's primary intended winner in a two-entry stable scenario and deserves equal billing. Pin Boy (8) at 8-1 and Tutti Contenti (9) at 10-1 are the value connectors for trifecta and superfecta wagers.

Race 9 — 1650f | Turf | Clm 25000n2l

Zucchero (2) is the best single bet of the card — Kevin Attard training, Hernandez riding, post 2 in a 13-horse turf route at a mile. Paradise Perfect (12) at 5-1 with Maragh is the closing threat and the top exacta partner underneath. My Covenant (5) at 4-1 and Connor (10) at 6-1 complete the trifecta coverage in a race where the large field should generate meaningful exotic payouts.
