Pick Pony Track Condition Report — Fair Meadows Tulsa, June 3, 2026

Track Surface & Bias Fair Meadows Tulsa is a dirt-based quarter horse venue, and on a typical early-summer evening the surface tends to play most honestly when it is kept tight and moisture-controlled. Under those conditions, the best trips usually come from inside to middle post positions, with speed and tactical stalkers holding an edge if the track is carrying its usual summer cushion; if the surface gets wet or sealed, the bias can tilt even more toward front-runners who can clear early and avoid kickback.

Handicapper's Edge On a dirt card, keep extra weight on early pace and post position rather than expecting deep closers to make up much ground. If the track is playing to speed, horses with clean breaks and forward placement become more attractive, while races with several need-the-lead types can open the door for a stalker sitting just off the pace.
