Track Surface & Bias
With turf (T) scheduled, expect a fair-to-good grass surface unless overnight moisture produces softer patches. On typical well-prepared turf, inside-to-middle posts offer a modest efficiency advantage, while prominent rail movement can alter that edge. Forwardly placed runners and stalkers should hold an advantage if the ground remains sound; closers will need a genuine pace collapse or favorable cover.
Handicapper’s Edge
Prioritize horses with proven form on turf and those capable of securing position without using excessive energy early. Treat extreme outside draws and deep closers cautiously unless the pace projects fast or the surface becomes noticeably testing.
