Track Surface & Bias

With the card run on dirt (D), the most likely setup is a strip that rewards speed and early position, especially if the track has been drying out through the day. On a typical fair-to-fast dirt course, inside and forwardly placed runners tend to hold the edge, while wide closers usually need a pace collapse to overcome it.

If recent moisture has left the surface a touch tighter or cuppy, that can sharpen the advantage for stalkers sitting just off the pace and for horses able to secure an economical rail or 2-path trip. In either case, the safest bias read is that post position matters less than tactical speed, with the most efficient trips going to runners who establish position before the far turn.
