Pick Pony Track Condition Report — Remington Park, October 24, 2026
Track Surface & Bias
Remington Park's dirt and turf surfaces should be approached as fast-to-firm unless overnight maintenance or unreported rain changes the profile. Historically, the main track can reward tactical speed and outside stalking trips, while inside posts remain useful when horses secure position before the first turn. On turf, favor efficient stalkers and forwardly placed runners with enough finishing kick; closers generally need a genuine pace setup and clear running room.
Handicapper’s Edge
Give extra weight to horses proven over firm or fast footing and those capable of securing position without an energy-wasting trip. Treat deep closers cautiously unless the early pace appears demanding, and reassess the turf bias after the first one or two races.
