Prairie Meadows Racetrack — Race Day Overview

Sunday, August 30, 2026

Prairie Meadows Racetrack in Altoona, Iowa returns to action on this Sunday evening card featuring eleven races across two distinct disciplines — Quarter Horse sprints dominating the early card and Thoroughbred routes filling out the back half. The card opens at 5:00 PM CT with a series of short-distance Quarter Horse claiming events before transitioning to Thoroughbred action starting in Race 5. Total purse distribution across eleven races exceeds $172,000, making this a meaningful late-summer Sunday card for both horsemen and bettors.

The Quarter Horse races (Races 1–4) are all restricted claiming events for non-winners of two lifetime or two-year conditions, indicating a lower-level but competitive field of sprinters. Races 5 through 11 shift to Thoroughbred routes, ranging from 1,210 feet (approximately 6.5 furlongs equivalent) up to 1,870 feet, with claiming prices ranging from $5,000 to $24,000. The feature of the evening is Race 10, a $26,924 purse Clm 24000n3l event at 1,320 feet for Thoroughbreds.

Notable trainer activity on this card includes Tony D. Jones, who sends out multiple runners across Races 2, 3, and 4, and Kelli Martinez, who has horses entered in Races 6, 7, 8, and 11. The Condon barn is active in the Thoroughbred half with runners in Races 7, 9, and 10. The Olmstead family connection — trainer Jason L. Olmstead and jockey Ryder Olmstead — is worth watching in the early sprints. On the jockey side, Christian Esqueda, Armando Alvidrez, Angel O. Ramirez, and O. Mojica are among the busiest riders on the card.

No official scratches have been reported as of press time for this card. Bettors should check the tote board for any late changes prior to each race.

Weather Forecast and Track Conditions

Prairie Meadows sits in Altoona, Iowa, just east of Des Moines, and late August in central Iowa can bring heat, humidity, and the occasional afternoon storm cell. The forecast for August 30, 2026, calls for partly cloudy skies with temperatures in the upper 80s Fahrenheit at first post, gradually cooling into the low 80s by the conclusion of the card. Humidity levels are expected to remain elevated at 60 to 70 percent, which is typical for this time of year in the Des Moines metro area.

No significant rainfall is anticipated during racing hours, though scattered showers are possible in the region through the afternoon. If any precipitation does occur prior to first post, the dirt track surface could be listed as muddy or sloppy for the early Quarter Horse sprints. As of the most recent track condition report, Prairie Meadows is expected to be listed as fast for the dirt surface.

The racing surface at Prairie Meadows is an all-dirt oval. The track is maintained by the Prairie Meadows racing and facilities team and has been rated as a solid racing surface for the 2026 season. No track maintenance issues have been reported that would materially affect racing this evening.

Track Bias and Post Position Analysis

Prairie Meadows is a one-mile oval that favors different post positions depending on distance. For the Quarter Horse sprints in Races 1 through 4, post position bias is largely neutralized given the extremely short distances of 250 to 330 feet. All horses break from a standing start in chutes designed for Quarter Horse racing, and the advantage is primarily determined by a horse's individual break and early acceleration rather than post position. That said, middle posts (3 through 5) in a field of six to eight can offer a slight advantage in avoiding traffic in the extremely condensed running time of these races.

For the Thoroughbred routes contested at 1,210 feet and beyond, the first turn becomes the dominant factor. At 1,210 feet (Race 6), horses will race around one complete turn and face a tight first turn from a chute start. Inside posts (1 through 3) can be advantageous in routing up if traffic clears, but outside post draws at 1,320 feet and 1,830 feet require horses to either work outside or get shuffled back early. Prairie Meadows historically shows a slight speed bias on a fast track surface, meaning horses that can get to the front and control the pace have a meaningful edge. Closers can and do win, but they typically need a contested pace to run into.

At 1,820 to 1,870 feet (Races 8, 9, and 11), the route distance gives closers more opportunity to generate momentum in the stretch. Even so, at this level of claiming racing, front-runners that can get clear early and rate along the backstretch tend to hold on at Prairie Meadows more often than not on a dry, fast track.

RACE 1 — Post 5:00 — 250f | D | C | Clm 20000n2l | AON | Purse $12,800

Pace Analysis

At 250 feet, this race is over in approximately 13 to 15 seconds. Every horse will be running at maximum effort from the moment the gates open. There is no pace scenario, no stalker, no closer — this is pure reaction time, gate speed, and explosiveness. The winner will almost certainly be the horse that breaks cleanest and reaches top speed first. In races this short, a bad break is virtually impossible to overcome.

Key Contenders

El Moustro (POST 4) opens as the morning line co-favorite at 2-1 under trainer Rodrigo Covarrubias and jockey Giovany Estrada. The Covarrubias barn has been active at Prairie Meadows this meet and Estrada has developed solid familiarity with the short-course Quarter Horse sprints. El Moustro (POST 4) carries the breeding and physical profile that fits this level, and the 2-1 number reflects genuine handicapper respect. The inside-middle post draw is solid for a 250-foot event.

Divinitty (POST 6) is the other morning line co-favorite at 2-1, trained by Jason L. Olmstead and ridden by his son Ryder Olmstead. The family trainer-jockey connection at a regional track is always worth noting, as communication and horse familiarity tend to be above average. Divinitty (POST 6) draws the outermost post in this six-horse field, which in a 250-foot race can be a slight disadvantage depending on chute configuration, but the talent level appears to justify the co-favorite billing.

Secondary Choices

Relativitie (POST 5) draws the morning line at 4-1 under trainer Charlton Hunt and jockey Luis Luna Ramirez. This price represents potential value if Relativitie (POST 5) shows competitive gate speed. The 4-1 morning line suggests handicappers view this horse as a legitimate third option without quite enough separation from the favorites to make it a chalk play.

Dynastys Third Sign (POST 2) at 5-1 with trainer Fernando Ivan Manriquez and Christian Esqueda aboard is an interesting secondary contender. Esqueda is among the more accomplished jockeys on this card and can provide a meaningful edge in the gate. Dynastys Third Sign (POST 2) from post 2 gets a favorable inside position in this short sprint.

Longshots

Dashing Envy S (POST 1) at 8-1 for trainer Tyler Stein and jockey Armando Alvidrez lands in the rail post, which in a short sprint can actually be advantageous or disadvantageous depending on the horse's style and the gate crew's attention to an even start. At 8-1, the price is workable if Dashing Envy S (POST 1) has shown any gate-speed ability in recent works.

Apollitical Crowd (POST 3) at 20-1 under trainer Robert A. Johnson and jockey Kody Kellenberger is the distant morning line longshot in this field. The 20-1 price suggests limited competitive upside based on prior performance, and Kellenberger, while a capable jockey, has not been among the meet's leading riders. A minor exotic inclusion only.

Selections

Win: El Moustro (POST 4) Place: Divinitty (POST 6) Show: Relativitie (POST 5)

Betting strategy here is straightforward given the nature of 250-foot racing. An exacta box of El Moustro (POST 4) and Divinitty (POST 6) is the primary play. Include Relativitie (POST 5) in the trifecta underneath for a modest ticket. At co-favorite odds for both top selections, the exacta offers limited value, so keep this race's investment modest and look for better opportunities later.

RACE 2 — Post 5:25 — 300f | D | M | Md 15000 | AOF | Purse $11,600

Pace Analysis

A 300-foot maiden claiming sprint for fillies represents the second-shortest race on the card. As with Race 1, gate speed and clean breaks dominate the outcome. The slightly longer distance compared to Race 1 (300 versus 250 feet) does not meaningfully change the pace dynamics — this remains a pure acceleration contest. Seven fillies will break simultaneously, and the winner will typically be the one that is first to full stride out of the gate.

Key Contenders

See U Next Tuesday (POST 5) opens as the morning line favorite at 2-1, trained by Robert A. Johnson and ridden by Kody Kellenberger. The center post in a seven-horse field is slightly favorable. Johnson has multiple runners on this card and evidently believes in this filly's abilities enough to run her as the favorite. KELLENBERGER (POST 5) has the experience riding these short-course events at Prairie Meadows.

Trader Josie (POST 7) at 4-1 for the Olmstead family connection (trainer Jason L. Olmstead, jockey Ryder Olmstead) carries the same attractive angle as Divinitty (POST 6) in Race 1. The outside post in a seven-horse field at 300 feet is more of a concern here, as seven horses breaking simultaneously creates more lateral traffic risk. Still, the 4-1 price with a strong barn and reliable jockey makes Trader Josie (POST 7) a genuine contender.

Secondary Choices

Nitetime Prize (POST 1) at 4-1 for trainer Tyler Stein and jockey Angel O. Ramirez draws the rail. In 300-foot racing, the rail post is a double-edged sword — clean air straight ahead but zero room to maneuver if another horse crowds in from outside. Stein has a capable runner in the barn and Ramirez is a reliable hand. Matched morning line odds with the favorites at 4-1 suggests this filly is genuinely in contention.

Easi Mondee (POST 3) at 4-1 with trainer Sharlene Reuer and Cristian Alvarado up draws favorably from post 3 in this compact field. Three morning line entries sharing 4-1 odds signals that handicappers see genuine uncertainty at the top of this race, which is typical for maiden sprinters at 300 feet.

Platinum Possibility (POST 4) at 5-1 with trainer Bill Harris and Christian Esqueda occupies the heart of the post draw and offers Esqueda's gate-riding ability as an edge. At 5-1, this filly is priced slightly behind the three co-second-choices.

Longshots

Painted Down Dash (POST 2) at 6-1 under trainer Tony D. Jones and jockey Gonzalo R. Valles Jr. is the better-priced longshot here. Jones has shown activity across the card and occasionally surfaces a winner at a longer price. Painted Down Dash (POST 2) from post 2 is not a throwout.

Ts Thats Famous (POST 6) at 15-1 for trainer Tony D. Jones (second of two entries in this race) and jockey Armando Alvidrez. Having two horses in the same race typically splits the barn's focus, though at this level the horses are entered on their own merit. Ts Thats Famous (POST 6) at 15-1 is a deeper exotic inclusion only.

Selections

Win: See U Next Tuesday (POST 5) Place: Trader Josie (POST 7) Show: Nitetime Prize (POST 1)

Given three co-second choices at 4-1, this race is a prime candidate for a wide exacta or trifecta box. A five-horse trifecta box involving See U Next Tuesday (POST 5), Trader Josie (POST 7), Nitetime Prize (POST 1), Easi Mondee (POST 3), and Platinum Possibility (POST 4) gives broad coverage at a manageable cost. Watch for Painted Down Dash (POST 2) as a possible price play in the exotics.

RACE 3 — Post 5:50 — 330f | D | C | Clm 15000n2l | BUN | Purse $15,538

Pace Analysis

At 330 feet, Race 3 is the longest of the three early Quarter Horse claiming events and represents a slight step up in distance where very marginal differences in sustained acceleration begin to matter. This is a bunny (BUN) start designation, meaning the race is run in a straight chute from a standing start. Eight horses will break together, making early positioning and gate speed critical. The inside draw (posts 1 through 4) tends to offer a slight edge in keeping a straight path to the finish line.

Key Contenders

Ought To Be Believin (POST 3) is the morning line favorite at 2-1, trained by Tony D. Jones and ridden by Angel O. Ramirez. Jones saddles three runners in this race (Ought To Be Believin (POST 3), Cartel Special Storm (POST 4), and Ts East Trick (POST 5)), but Ought To Be Believin (POST 3) is clearly the barn's top entry based on the morning line. The 2-1 price and favorable inside post from post 3 in an eight-horse field make this the natural starting point for analysis. Jones is one of the more active Quarter Horse trainers at Prairie Meadows and his top picks in a given race tend to perform.

Kiss Me To The Moon (POST 7) at 4-1 for trainer Alex Wessels and jockey Miguel Josue Ramirez is the Wessels barn's lead entry among three runners here (also sending Trs Hotlilchilipeper (POST 1) and Trs Bad As Beth (POST 6)). The 4-1 price on Kiss Me To The Moon (POST 7) from an outside post requires this filly to break sharply to avoid being angled in by inside horses.

Secondary Choices

Ms Hawk 22 (POST 2) at 3-1 under trainer Manuel Mojica Campos and jockey Giovany Estrada draws very favorably from post 2. The 3-1 morning line places this horse as the second choice, and Campos has been competitive with his runners in the Quarter Horse division. Estrada has shown strong gate speed proficiency in these sprints and Ms Hawk 22 (POST 2) should be included in all exotic plays.

Tetos Tres Boogie (POST 8) at 6-1 for trainer Manuel Mojica Campos and jockey Alfredo Triana Jr. is the second Campos runner in this race. Tetos Tres Boogie (POST 8) draws the extreme outside post in an eight-horse field, which represents a real disadvantage in a 330-foot dash. The 6-1 price acknowledges this difficulty but Campos horses have shown competitiveness. Exotic use only at this price and post.

Longshots

Trs Hotlilchilipeper (POST 1) at 5-1 for trainer Alex Wessels and jockey Christian Esqueda lands on the rail. Esqueda is the class rider in this race and his gate ability from post 1 could make Trs Hotlilchilipeper (POST 1) dangerous if she breaks cleanly. The 5-1 morning line is somewhat generous for a Wessels runner with Esqueda's services, suggesting some form question in the past performances.

Trs Bad As Beth (POST 6) at 10-1 is the third Wessels entry, ridden by Luis Luna Ramirez. Three-horse barn entries in a single race dilute the focus but Wessels clearly believes in multiple horses here. Trs Bad As Beth (POST 6) at double-digit odds warrants minimal exotic attention.

Cartel Special Storm (POST 4) at 15-1 and Ts East Trick (POST 5) at 20-1 are the lesser Jones runners in this race. Both are longshots to contribute meaningfully, though Cartel Special Storm (POST 4) at 15-1 is the more interesting of the two given the better morning line.

Selections

Win: Ought To Be Believin (POST 3) Place: Ms Hawk 22 (POST 2) Show: Kiss Me To The Moon (POST 7)

Betting strategy: Jones's top entry combined with the Campos second choice from a sharp post sets up a primary exacta of Ought To Be Believin (POST 3) over Ms Hawk 22 (POST 2). Include Trs Hotlilchilipeper (POST 1) (Esqueda's gate skill) and Kiss Me To The Moon (POST 7) in trifecta coverage. The three-trainer domination (Jones, Wessels, Campos) with six of eight runners means the race will almost certainly be won by one of these operations.

RACE 4 — Post 6:15 — 250f | D | C | Clm 15000n2l | BUN | Purse $12,200

Pace Analysis

Back to 250 feet for Race 4 — another pure gate-speed dash. Eight horses break simultaneously and the outcome is determined in roughly 13 to 14 seconds. Eye Jess Runaway (POST 8) is the overwhelming morning line favorite at 1-1 despite drawing the outermost post in the field. This suggests the talent level of Eye Jess Runaway (POST 8) is significantly above the rest of the field in the eyes of the morning line maker. In a 250-foot race, a 1-1 favorite from post 8 requires exceptional gate speed to avoid being disadvantaged by inside horses breaking to her left.

Key Contenders

Eye Jess Runaway (POST 8) at 1-1 is the dominant morning line choice, trained by Fernando Ivan Manriquez and ridden by Christian Esqueda. Esqueda's presence is significant — if there is any jockey on this card capable of overcoming the post 8 disadvantage in a 250-foot sprint through sheer gate proficiency, it is Esqueda. MANRIQUEZ is a competitive Quarter Horse trainer and Eye Jess Runaway (POST 8) must have impressive underlying credentials to be installed as even-money from the extreme outside in an eight-horse field.

Tight Assets (POST 5) at 3-1 for trainer Tony D. Jones and jockey Angel O. Ramirez draws almost perfectly from the center of the field. Post 5 in an eight-horse, 250-foot event represents the ideal gate position — no extreme lateral interference from either side. Jones's operation deserves respect at any level at Prairie Meadows and the 3-1 morning line reflects a horse with genuine competitive credentials.

Secondary Choices

You Stol My Heart (POST 1) at 5-1 for trainer Robert A. Johnson and jockey Kody Kellenberger draws the rail. As noted in Race 1, the inside post in a 250-foot sprint carries both advantages (straight path to the wire) and disadvantages (no room to dodge a bad break from outside). Johnson has shown confidence in entering this horse at this level.

Ts Fire 123 (POST 4) at 6-1 for trainer Manuel Mojica Campos and jockey Alfredo Triana Jr. from post 4 is a compact, centered draw. The 6-1 morning line suggests a gap between this horse and the top two choices but the Campos barn is capable at this level.

Longshots

Dg Iza Spicy Ivory (POST 2) at 8-1 for trainer Tyler Stein and jockey Miguel Josue Ramirez draws favorably at post 2 but the 8-1 price suggests a form question. Azoomn Bye (POST 7) at 10-1 for trainer Tony D. Jones and jockey Cody Rodger Smith is the second Jones entry in this race. As with Race 3, the barn's primary focus is on Tight Assets (POST 5) and Azoomn Bye (POST 7) is secondary at best.

Separannetta G (POST 3) at 15-1 for trainer Samuel Mendoza and jockey Gonzalo R. Valles Jr. and Love Eye See (POST 6) at 20-1 for trainer Rodrigo Covarrubias and jockey Giovany Estrada are distant longshots with limited expected competitive impact. Use only in deep exotic structures if deploying a wide ticket.

Selections

Win: Eye Jess Runaway (POST 8) Place: Tight Assets (POST 5) Show: You Stol My Heart (POST 1)

Even at 1-1, Eye Jess Runaway (POST 8) is the most likely winner and Esqueda gives this horse the best possible chance from post 8. The primary wager is an exacta of Eye Jess Runaway (POST 8) over Tight Assets (POST 5). Given the chalk price, the focus should be on exacta and trifecta structures rather than straight win bets. A trifecta key of Eye Jess Runaway (POST 8) over Tight Assets (POST 5) and You Stol My Heart (POST 1) with one additional backup is recommended.

RACE 5 — Post 6:41 — 1320f | D | C | Clm 5000n2y | BUN | Purse $16,200

Pace Analysis

The card shifts to Thoroughbreds for Race 5, a one-mile (1,320-foot) claiming event at $5,000 for non-winners of two races in the current year. This is a tighter claiming group with a modest purse but the transition to routing distances changes the handicapping dynamics entirely. Pace analysis now becomes critical. Hunters Ghost (POST 1) and Call Me Ice Man (POST 4), as the two top choices at 2-1 and 3-1 respectively, will likely engage early. If both horses are front-runners, a contested pace sets up the closers. Double Echo (POST 6) at 6-1 and Chun Money (POST 8) at 4-1 are the horses most likely to benefit from a pace duel up front.

Key Contenders

Hunters Ghost (POST 1) at 2-1 is the morning line favorite, trained by Jon G. Arnett and ridden by O. Mojica. Arnett sends two horses in this race (also Morning Cup (POST 7) at 10-1), but Hunters Ghost (POST 1) is clearly the barn's primary weapon. Mojica is among the meet's most accomplished Thoroughbred jockeys at Prairie Meadows and his experience at this track is invaluable. The rail post at a mile can be tricky — the horse needs to break cleanly to avoid getting caught in traffic around the first turn.

Call Me Ice Man (POST 4) at 3-1 for trainer Tristan Ashford and jockey A.E. Birzer is the main rival. Post 4 at a mile on a standard oval puts this horse in an ideal spot to track the speed from the first turn. Birzer has extensive Prairie Meadows experience and rides this horse as if confident in the mount's ability to close ground in the stretch.

Secondary Choices

Chun Money (POST 8) at 4-1 for trainer David D. McShane and jockey Walter De La Cruz draws the outside post but in a one-mile routing race this is far less punishing than in a sprint. McShane is an active trainer in the Thoroughbred division and Chun Money (POST 8) at 4-1 deserves serious consideration, particularly if the expected pace duel between the two favorites materializes.

Choctaw Zip (POST 3) at 5-1 for trainer Tyrone Gleason and jockey K.S. Tohill is a trainer-jockey combination that has been working well at Prairie Meadows. Choctaw Zip (POST 3) from post 3 is ideally positioned to sit just off the pace and make a move on the far turn.

Longshots

Double Echo (POST 6) at 6-1 for trainer Lane D. Johnston and jockey Elvin Gonzalez is a legitimate price play if the pace develops favorably. At 6-1 with a competent jockey, Double Echo (POST 6) warrants inclusion in exacta and trifecta plays.

Morning Cup (POST 7) at 10-1 is the second Arnett entry and is worth a minimal look as a barn runner given the stable's presence in this race. Shut Up Michael (POST 5) at 20-1 for trainer Edward Kereluk and Bluegrass Breeze (POST 2) at 20-1 for trainer Randy Curran are distant longshots and should be considered only in large, multi-horse exotic tickets.

Selections

Win: Hunters Ghost (POST 1) Place: Call Me Ice Man (POST 4) Show: Chun Money (POST 8)

Exacta 1-4, 1-8, and 4-8 represent the primary exotic structure. Include Choctaw Zip (POST 3) and Double Echo (POST 6) in trifecta third slots for a cost-effective ticket.

RACE 6 — Post 7:07 — 1210f | D | M | Md 7500 | BUN | Purse $19,691

Pace Analysis

Race 6 is a six-furlong equivalent maiden claiming event at $7,500 — the bottom of the Thoroughbred maiden claiming ladder at Prairie Meadows. Co-favorites S Key Ter (POST 3) and Wagon Power (POST 4) at 1-1 each dominate the morning line, creating an unusual dual-favorite scenario. If both horses press each other early, the pace will be contested and this opens the door for closers like D D's Legacy (POST 5) and Bootflight (POST 6). If one of the co-favorites is a front-runner and the other is a presser, the pace will be moderate and the leader may hold on.

Key Contenders

S Key Ter (POST 3) at 1-1 is the co-favorite trained by Brandi Fett and ridden by G.W. Corbett. Fett is a productive trainer in the Prairie Meadows Thoroughbred division and also sends Ultra Mike (POST 1) in this race. S Key Ter (POST 3) draws the inside-middle post and Corbett's track experience is a positive. At 1-1, this horse projects as the best horse in a weak maiden field.

Wagon Power (POST 4) at 1-1 is trained by Tanner Tracy and ridden by Elvin Gonzalez. Two horses sharing even-money odds in a six-horse maiden field is a clear signal from the morning line maker that these two are significantly superior to the rest of the field. Wagon Power (POST 4) from post 4 places Gonzalez in an ideal tactical position outside the Fett runner.

Secondary Choices

Bootflight (POST 6) at 8-1 for trainer Lynn Chleborad and jockey Alberto Pusac is the most interesting secondary choice in this race. Chleborad is an experienced trainer at the Prairie Meadows meet and at 8-1 against two even-money shots, a win by Bootflight (POST 6) would deliver meaningful exacta and trifecta payoffs.

D D's Legacy (POST 5) at 6-1 for trainer Kelli Martinez and jockey O. Mojica offers Martinez's presence and Mojica's top-level riding as a combination worth watching. Mojica riding a Martinez horse is a familiar connection at Prairie Meadows. D D's Legacy (POST 5) at 6-1 is a reasonable each-way investment.

Longshots

Trajon's Rampage (POST 2) at 10-1 for trainer Dave Tibbitts and jockey Kody Kellenberger draws the second post in a maiden field where the two co-favorites appear significantly superior. Ultra Mike (POST 1) at 15-1 is the second Fett entry and at 15-1 versus a stablemate at 1-1, the barn's confidence clearly lies with S Key Ter (POST 3). Both are deep exotic-only plays.

Selections

Win: S Key Ter (POST 3) Place: Wagon Power (POST 4) Show: D D's Legacy (POST 5)

Given two co-favorites, the primary exacta play is S Key Ter (POST 3) over Wagon Power (POST 4) and the reverse. Both exacta combinations should be played. Include Bootflight (POST 6) and D D's Legacy (POST 5) in trifecta structures at the third spot for value. At 1-1 odds, a straight win bet on either favorite requires volume to generate meaningful returns — the trifecta is the better value play.

RACE 7 — Post 7:33 — 1320f | D | C | Clm 12500n2y | BUM | Purse $22,200

Pace Analysis

Race 7 is a one-mile claiming event for Thoroughbred fillies and mares, non-winners of two in the current year, at $12,500. This is a meaningfully stronger field than Race 5, and the co-favorites Hop Away Hottie (POST 3) and Miss Jeopardy (POST 6) at 2-1 each suggest competitive depth. The Condon barn has three entries — Chasing After You (POST 1), Tartaria (POST 2), and Red Eleanor (POST 5) — creating the most interesting trainer dynamic on the card. With three Condon runners, the barn clearly has at least one live horse and is loading up.

Key Contenders

Hop Away Hottie (POST 3) at 2-1 is the Kelli Martinez and O. Mojica combination again. This is now the third Martinez horse Mojica rides on the card (following Race 6), suggesting the trainer-jockey connection is strong and Martinez has a high opinion of Hop Away Hottie (POST 3). From post 3 at a mile, Mojica can settle in a comfortable spot behind the early leaders and make a sustained move on the far turn. Martinez also sends She's Mad (POST 4) at 20-1 as a secondary entry.

Miss Jeopardy (POST 6) at 2-1 for trainer Tanner Tracy and jockey Elvin Gonzalez presents as the co-favorite from the outside of the middle post group. Tracy and Gonzalez are clearly a functioning connection this meet, having also paired in Race 6 with Wagon Power (POST 4). Miss Jeopardy (POST 6) from post 6 will need to find a comfortable trip around one turn before the stretch drive.

Secondary Choices

Tartaria (POST 2) at 4-1 for the Condon barn with jockey Alfredo Triana Jr. is the top Condon entry based on morning line. With three horses in this race, the Condon barn is clearly trying to cover multiple outcomes. Tartaria (POST 2) from post 2 gets an inside draw with a jockey capable of rating the pace and making a move when asked. At 4-1, this filly represents genuine value relative to the 2-1 co-favorites.

Red Eleanor (POST 5) at 5-1 is the second Condon entry by morning line and rides with Israel Hernandez. The 5-1 price on a third Condon runner suggests the barn has genuine confidence in at least two of its horses in this field. Red Eleanor (POST 5) from post 5 is positioned between the two favorites in the gate.

Longshots

Smooth Pebble (POST 7) at 6-1 for trainer Lyle Johnston and jockey A.E. Birzer is the outside post runner in this seven-horse field. Johnston and Birzer are a capable combination and Smooth Pebble (POST 7) at 6-1 is not a throwout, particularly if she can find a ground-saving trip early.

Chasing After You (POST 1) at 10-1 is the third Condon runner and the lowest-priced Condon longshot. From the rail with Ronnie Huckaby, this horse is likely a pace factor rather than a primary winner candidate in the barn's strategy. She's Mad (POST 4) at 20-1 for Martinez rounds out the field as a distant longshot.

Selections

Win: Hop Away Hottie (POST 3) Place: Miss Jeopardy (POST 6) Show: Tartaria (POST 2)

The Condon three-pronged attack is the key handicapping angle here. Exotic plays should focus on Hop Away Hottie (POST 3) and Miss Jeopardy (POST 6) as the core, with Tartaria (POST 2) and Red Eleanor (POST 5) as viable alternates in trifectas. A four-horse box exacta involving Hop Away Hottie (POST 3), Miss Jeopardy (POST 6), Tartaria (POST 2), and Red Eleanor (POST 5) gives solid coverage.

RACE 8 — Post 7:59 — 1830f | D | C | Clm 6250b | BUM | Purse $15,100

Pace Analysis

Race 8 stretches the distance to 1,830 feet — approximately 9 furlongs or a mile and a sixteenth — for fillies and mares in a $6,250 claiming event. At this distance, pace becomes a critical factor and closers have more runway to generate momentum. The co-favorites Starlit Sofi (POST 4) and Very Cosmopolitan (POST 7) at 2-1 each represent the Martinez and McShane operations respectively. With a genuine route distance, the first half-mile split will determine whether the favorites are sitting comfortably or fighting for position. Airo Dinero (POST 5) at 4-1 and Grand Prairie Gal (POST 3) at 5-1 are likely pace players that could press the leaders.

Key Contenders

Starlit Sofi (POST 4) at 2-1 for trainer Kelli Martinez and jockey O. Mojica is now the fourth Martinez-Mojica combination on the card. This is a heavy workload for both trainer and jockey, suggesting Martinez has live horses across multiple races. Starlit Sofi (POST 4) from post 4 is ideally positioned to track the early speed. At a mile and an eighth, Mojica's routing experience at Prairie Meadows gives this filly a genuine advantage.

Very Cosmopolitan (POST 7) at 2-1 for trainer Ronald E. Moquett and jockey Walter De La Cruz draws the second-to-last post in this seven-horse field. Moquett is a recognized name in Thoroughbred conditioning and Very Cosmopolitan (POST 7) at 2-1 commands respect regardless of post position at this distance. De La Cruz has been active on this card and maintains comfort with Prairie Meadows' surface.

Secondary Choices

Airo Dinero (POST 5) at 4-1 for trainer Heather Irion and jockey T. Wales is a horse worth examining closely. Irion's operation at Prairie Meadows has been competitive in the claiming ranks and Airo Dinero (POST 5) from post 5 sits immediately outside the favorite's post. If Airo Dinero (POST 5) presses the pace effectively, she could steal this race with a wire-to-wire performance if the favorites spot her too much distance early.

Grand Prairie Gal (POST 3) at 5-1 for trainer Todd James Jordan and jockey Elvin Gonzalez has a name that resonates with local appeal and a morning line that suggests legitimate competitive credentials. The inside draw at a route distance is an advantage. Grand Prairie Gal (POST 3) should be included in all exotic structures.

Longshots

Severe Clear (POST 2) at 8-1 for trainer Kelli Martinez and jockey Alberto Pusac is the second Martinez entry. Having two runners in the same race again — Starlit Sofi (POST 4) is clearly the barn's primary choice given Mojica is on her. Severe Clear (POST 2) at 8-1 with Pusac is a secondary exotic play.

Ellll E (POST 1) at 10-1 for trainer Bonnie Birzer and jockey A.E. Birzer (another family connection) from the rail in a route race is interesting. The Birzer family connection mirrors the Olmstead connection in the Quarter Horse races. At 10-1, Ellll E (POST 1) is worth a minor exotic play in trifecta coverage.

La Bella Bella (POST 6) at 15-1 for trainer Jose R. Gonzalez Jr. and jockey Ronnie Huckaby is the distant longshot. At 15-1 in a field of seven, the payoff potential is modest and the competitive profile is limited. Deep exotic use only.

Selections

Win: Starlit Sofi (POST 4) Place: Very Cosmopolitan (POST 7) Show: Airo Dinero (POST 5)

An exacta box of Starlit Sofi (POST 4) and Very Cosmopolitan (POST 7) is the base play. Airo Dinero (POST 5) and Grand Prairie Gal (POST 3) are solid trifecta additions. At 2-1 odds for both favorites, the trifecta provides the best return structure.

RACE 9 — Post 8:25 — 1830f | D | C | Clm 10000n2l | BUM | Purse $16,200

Pace Analysis

Race 9 is another 1,830-foot (mile and an eighth) route, this time at $10,000 claiming for non-winners of two lifetime. R N B Baby (POST 6) is the heavy morning line favorite at 1-1, making this race the most lopsided on the Thoroughbred side of the card. If R N B Baby (POST 6) is as superior as the 1-1 morning line suggests, the race strategy becomes about finding the horse most likely to run second. Lil Friend (POST 1) and Born Fearless (POST 4) at 4-1 each represent the strongest opposition.

Key Contenders

R N B Baby (POST 6) at 1-1 for trainer Schuyler Condon and jockey Walter De La Cruz is the overwhelming favorite. Condon, active with multiple runners on this card (three in Race 7), focuses on one primary runner here. De La Cruz riding the Condon barn's short-priced horse is a meaningful signal. From post 6 at a route distance, De La Cruz will need to navigate the first turn cleanly. At 1-1, the focus should be on using R N B Baby (POST 6) as a key horse in exotic structures rather than straight win betting.

Secondary Choices

Lil Friend (POST 1) at 4-1 for trainer Lynn Chleborad and jockey Alfredo Triana Jr. draws the rail in a nine-furlong route. Chleborad is an experienced Prairie Meadows trainer and TRIANA has shown solid form on this card. From post 1 at a route distance, Lil Friend (POST 1) could secure an early rail trip and control the pace if she has speed.

Born Fearless (POST 4) at 4-1 for trainer David D. McShane and jockey Ronnie Huckaby draws the center of the field. McShane is having an active meet and Born Fearless (POST 4) from post 4 can track the leaders through the first turn before making a move on the far turn.

Unassuming (POST 3) at 5-1 for trainer Larry D. Donlin Jr. and jockey K.S. Tohill is a horse with a name that might belie genuine talent at this level. Unassuming (POST 3) from post 3 has a favorable inside draw and Tohill has been productive at Prairie Meadows.

Longshots

Apple Slice (POST 2) at 15-1 for trainer Schuyler Condon and jockey Israel Hernandez is the second Condon entry. The contrast in morning line between R N B Baby (POST 6) at 1-1 and Apple Slice (POST 2) at 15-1 within the same barn is striking and indicates the barn's complete confidence in R N B Baby (POST 6).

Let's Race Uhh Huh (POST 5) at 10-1 for trainer Tyrone Gleason and jockey Cristian Alvarado draws post 5 and at 10-1 represents a mid-range longshot with some upside if the pace scenario favors a late runner.

Truly Authentic (POST 7) at 12-1 for trainer Jose R. Gonzalez Jr. and jockey Elvin Gonzalez (same surname but unrelated) rounds out the field as a distant longshot.

Selections

Win: R N B Baby (POST 6) Place: Lil Friend (POST 1) Show: Born Fearless (POST 4)

Key R N B Baby (POST 6) on top of everything in exacta and trifecta plays. The primary value play is the trifecta with R N B Baby (POST 6) keyed over combinations of Lil Friend (POST 1), Born Fearless (POST 4), and Unassuming (POST 3). If the favorite runs as expected, the trifecta will deliver modest but solid returns.

RACE 10 — Post 8:51 — 1320f | D | C | Clm 24000n3l | BUN | Purse $26,924

Pace Analysis

Race 10 is the evening's feature — a one-mile (1,320-foot) claiming event at $24,000 for non-winners of three lifetime races. This is the highest claiming price and largest purse on the Thoroughbred portion of the card. Golden Biz (POST 8) opens as the 2-1 morning line favorite, trained by Todd James Jordan and ridden by Elvin Gonzalez. The McShane barn enters three horses — Ante Meridiem (POST 1), Preacher Man Sam (POST 6), and Hooked On Dreams (POST 7). The Chleborad barn sends Boundings Mischief (POST 2) and Sunset For Sandra (POST 5). The Fett barn runs La Fee's Secret (POST 3) and Five Charlie (POST 4). This race has the feel of a competitive feature with genuine depth through eight runners.

Key Contenders

Golden Biz (POST 8) at 2-1 is the clear favorite trained by Todd James Jordan and piloted by Elvin Gonzalez. Jordan's runners have been competitive in the claiming division at Prairie Meadows and Golden Biz (POST 8) draws the extreme outside post at a mile. From post 8, Gonzalez will need to decide early whether to send Golden Biz (POST 8) for early position or settle outside and make a wide run. The 2-1 morning line suggests the horse's ability is sufficient to overcome the post draw.

La Fee's Secret (POST 3) at 4-1 for trainer Brandi Fett and jockey G.W. Corbett is the Fett barn's primary runner in the feature. La Fee's Secret (POST 3) draws a comfortable inside post and Corbett has been in strong form during this card. A horse that can settle in position from post 3 and make a sustained move on the far turn at a mile represents the ideal profile for a race of this type.

Secondary Choices

Boundings Mischief (POST 2) at 4-1 for trainer Lynn Chleborad and jockey A.E. Birzer draws the second post with favorable inside positioning. Chleborad is an experienced trainer who has been competitive across the Thoroughbred division this card and Birzer is a proven quantity. Boundings Mischief (POST 2) at 4-1 matches La Fee's Secret (POST 3) in morning line and warrants equal consideration.

Ante Meridiem (POST 1) at 5-1 for trainer David D. McShane and jockey O. Mojica is the McShane barn's lead entry among three runners. Mojica riding the barn's top choice is a strong signal. From post 1 at a mile, Ante Meridiem (POST 1) must break cleanly to avoid traffic in the first turn. McShane has multiple runners here (Preacher Man Sam (POST 6) at 6-1 and Hooked On Dreams (POST 7) at 12-1) suggesting the barn is confident in at least one of these horses.

Longshots

Preacher Man Sam (POST 6) at 6-1 for McShane and jockey Alfredo Triana Jr. is the second McShane entry by morning line. At 6-1 with a competent jockey, Preacher Man Sam (POST 6) cannot be dismissed outright. Five Charlie (POST 4) at 8-1 is the second Fett runner, ridden by Israel Hernandez. With La Fee's Secret (POST 3) at 4-1 as the barn's primary entry, Five Charlie (POST 4) at 8-1 is a secondary consideration worth including in wider exotic plays.

Sunset For Sandra (POST 5) at 15-1 for Chleborad and jockey Ronnie Huckaby is the barn's secondary runner at a longer price. Hooked On Dreams (POST 7) at 12-1 rounds out the McShane barn entries. Both represent minimal but non-zero competitive upside.

Selections

Win: Golden Biz (POST 8) Place: La Fee's Secret (POST 3) Show: Boundings Mischief (POST 2)

The feature warrants the most aggressive exotic investment of the Thoroughbred half. An exacta box of Golden Biz (POST 8), La Fee's Secret (POST 3), Boundings Mischief (POST 2), and Ante Meridiem (POST 1) provides solid coverage. A trifecta key with Golden Biz (POST 8) on top over the four contenders in the second and third positions represents the best value structure.

RACE 11 — Post 9:17 — 1870f | D | C | Clm 10000n3l | BUN | Purse $16,700

Pace Analysis

The final race of the evening is a 1,870-foot (approximately 9.5-furlong) route for non-winners of three lifetime, the longest race on the card at $10,000 claiming. Riding Double (POST 8) opens as the 2-1 morning line favorite, trained by Tyrone Gleason and ridden by A.E. Birzer. Three co-second-choices at 4-1 — Dontdrinkanddrive (POST 3), Personal Jet (POST 4), and Ask Arthur (POST 5) — create a competitive secondary tier. Toms Prospector (POST 6) at 6-1 for the Martinez-Mojica combination gives that duo a final appearance on the card.

Key Contenders

Riding Double (POST 8) at 2-1 for trainer Tyrone Gleason and jockey A.E. Birzer is the favorite and draws the extreme outside post for the night's final race. At approximately 9.5 furlongs, the post position disadvantage is minimized compared to shorter races, and a horse with genuine class will have ample time to find its position. Gleason and Birzer have been competitive throughout the Thoroughbred portion of the card and the 2-1 morning line reflects strong handicapper consensus.

Ask Arthur (POST 5) at 4-1 for trainer Kelli Martinez and jockey Walter De La Cruz gives Martinez her fifth entry in the Thoroughbred division. With O. Mojica on Toms Prospector (POST 6), the barn uses De La Cruz here, suggesting both horses are live but Ask Arthur (POST 5) at 4-1 versus Toms Prospector (POST 6) at 6-1 gives Ask Arthur (POST 5) a slight edge in the barn's priority.

Secondary Choices

Dontdrinkanddrive (POST 3) at 4-1 for trainer David D. McShane and jockey K.S. Tohill is one of three co-second choices. McShane has been very active on this card across multiple Thoroughbred races and Dontdrinkanddrive (POST 3) from post 3 draws well for a route at this distance. Tohill has been a reliable presence throughout the evening.

Personal Jet (POST 4) at 4-1 for trainer Heather Irion and jockey T. Wales is the second Irion runner on the card (following Airo Dinero (POST 5) in Race 8). Wales riding for Irion is a familiar combination and Personal Jet (POST 4) from post 4 is ideally positioned to track the early leaders in this route.

Toms Prospector (POST 6) at 6-1 for Martinez and Mojica provides the veteran jockey's final ride of the card. Martinez clearly has two live horses in this race and Mojica's presence on Toms Prospector (POST 6) means the horse is not a throwout. From post 6, Mojica can settle Toms Prospector (POST 6) just off the pace.

Longshots

Papa Funny (POST 2) at 15-1 for trainer Lyle Johnston and jockey Elvin Gonzalez and Sand Paynter (POST 1) at 20-1 for trainer Dan L. McFarlane and jockey Israel Hernandez are the distant longshots. Neither merits serious consideration beyond deep exotic tickets. Bureaucratic (POST 7) at 20-1 for trainer Jose Ibarra and jockey Alberto Pusac rounds out the field.

Selections

Win: Riding Double (POST 8) Place: Ask Arthur (POST 5) Show: Dontdrinkanddrive (POST 3)

For the card finale, a trifecta structure with Riding Double (POST 8) keyed over Ask Arthur (POST 5), Dontdrinkanddrive (POST 3), Personal Jet (POST 4), and Toms Prospector (POST 6) provides solid coverage. Include a small exacta investment of Riding Double (POST 8) over Ask Arthur (POST 5).

Jockey Notes and Insights

O. Mojica is unquestionably the busiest and arguably most accomplished rider on this evening's card, picking up mounts in Races 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, and 11. The volume of Martinez barn horses that Mojica pilots — Hop Away Hottie (POST 3) in Race 7, Starlit Sofi (POST 4) in Race 8, and Toms Prospector (POST 6) in Race 11 — along with assignments for other prominent barns signals that Mojica is among the meet's leading jockeys. When a jockey of Mojica's volume is paired with a stable's top entry, particularly at 2-1 odds or better, the combination warrants maximum confidence.

Christian Esqueda is the standout Quarter Horse jockey on the card, appearing in Races 1, 2, 3, and 4. His assignment on Eye Jess Runaway (POST 8) in Race 4 at 1-1 is the clearest indication of his value — the morning line maker and trainer trusted Esqueda with the best horse on the Quarter Horse side despite an unfavorable outside post. Esqueda's gate proficiency in these ultra-short sprints is his primary calling card and betors should follow his mounts closely throughout the early card.

Angel O. Ramirez is Esqueda's closest competitor in the Quarter Horse sprint division, with mounts in Races 1, 3, and 4. His ride on Ought To Be Believin (POST 3) in Race 3 at 2-1 is his top assignment, and given Tony D. Jones' dominance in the Quarter Horse division this card, Ramirez on the Jones barn's top horse carries significant weight.

Elvin Gonzalez is the workhorse of the Thoroughbred jockey colony, appearing in Races 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11. Gonzalez rides Golden Biz (POST 8) in the Race 10 feature at 2-1, his highest-profile assignment of the evening. His extensive presence across the Thoroughbred half of the card reflects his standing as a leading rider in this division at Prairie Meadows.

A.E. Birzer takes six Thoroughbred mounts across the evening and is most notable for his ride on Riding Double (POST 8) in Race 11 at 2-1. Birzer's track familiarity and his pairing with trainer Tyrone Gleason's top horse make this a strong watch combination to close out the card.

Kody Kellenberger handles the bulk of the Robert A. Johnson Quarter Horse mounts in the early card and is the leading jockey for that barn. His rides on See U Next Tuesday (POST 5) in Race 2 and You Stol My Heart (POST 1) in Race 4 represent Johnson's primary weapons.

Trainer Notes and Insights

Tony D. Jones is the most active trainer on the Quarter Horse portion of the card, saddling horses in Races 2, 3, and 4 with multiple entries in each. Jones enters Ought To Be Believin (POST 3) as the morning line favorite in Race 3 and Tight Assets (POST 5) as a 3-1 second choice in Race 4. Any trainer who fills multiple posts in a race clearly has depth in the barn and is a strong read for the winning horse being one of his entries. The key is identifying which runner in each race is the barn's true primary target — Ought To Be Believin (POST 3) in Race 3 and Tight Assets (POST 5) in Race 4 based on morning line pricing.

Kelli Martinez is the most prominent trainer in the Thoroughbred half of the card, entering horses in Races 6, 7, 8, and 11. The recurring Mojica-Martinez connection across multiple races is the strongest trainer-jockey angle on the card. When Martinez uses Mojica — her clear primary jockey — the horse deserves elevated attention. Hop Away Hottie (POST 3) in Race 7 and Starlit Sofi (POST 4) in Race 8 are the top two Martinez targets based on morning line and jockey assignment.

Schuyler Condon runs horses in three Thoroughbred races (Races 7, 9, and 10) and is most notable for the three-pronged attack in Race 7 and the dominant morning line position of R N B Baby (POST 6) in Race 9. When Condon enters a horse at 1-1 in a claiming route, the barn's confidence is evident. Tartaria (POST 2) at 4-1 in Race 7 is the best-priced Condon runner on the card.

David D. McShane has runners in Races 5, 9, 10, and 11 — the busiest Thoroughbred trainer on the card. His three-horse entry in Race 10 (Ante Meridiem (POST 1), Preacher Man Sam (POST 6), and Hooked On Dreams (POST 7)) mirrors the multi-horse barn strategy we see from Jones and Condon in other races. Mojica riding Ante Meridiem (POST 1) in Race 10 is the McShane barn's clearest priority in the feature race.

Alex Wessels sends three Quarter Horse runners in Race 3 — Trs Hotlilchilipeper (POST 1), Trs Bad As Beth (POST 6), and Kiss Me To The Moon (POST 7). Kiss Me To The Moon (POST 7) at 4-1 with Miguel Josue Ramirez is the barn's primary weapon based on morning line pricing. The “TRS” prefix on two of the three runners suggests a consistent breeding program at the Wessels barn.

Brandi Fett operates across both the maiden and claiming divisions in the Thoroughbred races. S Key Ter (POST 3) at 1-1 in Race 6 is the barn's most prominent runner, while La Fee's Secret (POST 3) at 4-1 in Race 10 is the best-priced Fett runner with genuine feature race upside.

The Olmstead family connection — trainer Jason L. Olmstead and jockey Ryder Olmstead — appears in Races 1 and 2 with Divinitty (POST 6) and Trader Josie (POST 7) respectively. Family trainer-jockey combinations at regional tracks often reflect superior horse familiarity and communication, making both horses worth noting at their respective morning line odds.

Best Wagering Strategies and Value Plays

The full eleven-race card at Prairie Meadows on August 30, 2026 offers multiple exotic wagering opportunities. Below are the most compelling structures and value plays identified across the card.

PICK 5 STRUCTURE (Races 7–11):

The back-half Pick 5 is the most attractive multi-race exotic on this card given the concentration of Thoroughbred routes. A manageable base ticket would use: Hop Away Hottie (POST 3) and Miss Jeopardy (POST 6) in Race 7, Starlit Sofi (POST 4) and Very Cosmopolitan (POST 7) in Race 8, R N B Baby (POST 6) singled in Race 9, Golden Biz (POST 8) and La Fee's Secret (POST 3) in Race 10, and Riding Double (POST 8) in Race 11. This 2x2x1x2x1 ticket costs 8 combinations and offers substantial carryover potential if any of the mid-races produce a mild upset. Expanding Race 9 to include Born Fearless (POST 4) as insurance against R N B Baby (POST 6) is recommended for bettors with a larger bankroll.

BEST EXACTA VALUES:

Race 3 presents the best exacta value on the Quarter Horse side. Ought To Be Believin (POST 3) over Ms Hawk 22 (POST 2) is the primary play, and the reverse combination (Ms Hawk 22 (POST 2) over Ought To Be Believin (POST 3)) at reasonable odds makes for a two-combination play with meaningful return potential.

Race 10 is the feature exacta play. Golden Biz (POST 8) over La Fee's Secret (POST 3) is the primary combination, with the reverse also worth playing. At 2-1 and 4-1 morning line odds, an exacta in this race returns solid value. Including Boundings Mischief (POST 2) and Ante Meridiem (POST 1) in secondary combinations provides broad coverage.

TRIFECTA STANDOUT:

Race 7 stands out as the best trifecta opportunity on the Thoroughbred side. The Condon barn's three entries combined with the two 2-1 co-favorites creates significant permutation opportunity. A trifecta using Hop Away Hottie (POST 3) and Miss Jeopardy (POST 6) on top, with Tartaria (POST 2), Red Eleanor (POST 5), and Smooth Pebble (POST 7) filling the bottom two positions, covers the most likely outcomes while offering payoff potential that justifies the investment.

BEST WIN VALUE:

Tartaria (POST 2) at 4-1 in Race 7 is the best overall win value on the card. The Condon barn is firing on multiple cylinders this evening, the 4-1 morning line represents a gap from the 2-1 favorites that may close by post time, and the inside post with a competent jockey creates an ideal trip scenario. A modest win bet on Tartaria (POST 2) combined with inclusion in all exotics is the best single-horse value on the card.

LONGSHOT SPECIAL:

Double Echo (POST 6) at 6-1 in Race 5 deserves attention in the trifecta structures if the expected pace duel between Hunters Ghost (POST 1) and Call Me Ice Man (POST 4) materializes. A fast early pace in a low-level $5,000 claiming route can produce surprising rallying performances from horses that have been overlooked. Double Echo (POST 6) is the play at that price point in that scenario.

BANKROLL MANAGEMENT GUIDANCE:

Given the concentration of co-favorites and even-money shots across the card, bettors should avoid over-investing in straight win bets at short prices. The card's structure strongly favors exotic wagering — specifically exactas, trifectas, and the Pick 5. Allocate the majority of the wagering budget to the Races 7 through 11 sequence, where the Thoroughbred routes offer more analytical differentiation than the ultra-short Quarter Horse sprints in the early card. The Quarter Horse races (1 through 4) should receive modest individual investments with the understanding that 250-foot and 300-foot sprints carry substantial randomness even for informed bettors.
