Breeders’ Cup 2026 Sets Keeneland Post Times, Wagers

The 43rd Breeders' Cup will build toward the Classic at 6:16 p.m. ET on Saturday, Oct. 31, after officials finalized the race order and wagering program for Keeneland. Friday's 10-race card begins at 11:55 a.m., while the 12-race championship-day program opens at 11:15 a.m., according to the Breeders' Cup announcement reported by Paulick Report.

The Future Stars Friday sequence places the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint in Race 6 at 2:55 p.m., followed by the Juvenile Fillies at 3:35, Juvenile Fillies Turf at 4:15, Juvenile at 4:55 and Juvenile Turf at 5:35. That ordering gives bettors a tightly connected run through the two-year-old championship races, with the late card moving between Keeneland's dirt and turf courses in rapid succession.

Saturday's championship action starts with the Dirt Mile in Race 4 at 1:10 p.m. The Turf Sprint follows at 1:48, the Sprint at 2:26, the Filly & Mare Turf at 3:04, the Filly & Mare Sprint at 3:42, the Mile at 4:20, the Distaff at 4:58, the Turf at 5:36 and the Classic at 6:16. The complete schedule is also detailed by the Lane Report.

The wagering menu is built for players who want to attack sequences rather than isolate individual races. Across the two days, the program includes 10 Pick 4s, seven Pick 5s, two Pick 6s and four special daily doubles. Friday's card also features a $3 All-Turf Pick 3, while Saturday adds a 50-cent All-Dirt Pick 4 linking the Dirt Mile, Sprint, Distaff and Classic—an attractive structure for bettors who believe the main-track championship events will reward a common running-style or pace angle.

The most important bankroll detail comes late Saturday. The Saturday Pick 6 and Pick 5 wagers carry mandatory payouts, as do the Late Pick 5 and final Super High 5; any Friday Pick 5 carryover moves into Saturday's Late Pick 5. Minimums range from $1 for win, place and show, exactas, daily doubles, Pick 3s, Pick 6s, Super High 5s and special daily doubles to 50 cents for Pick 4s and Pick 5s, with 10-cent superfectas available. Organizers expect wagering from 43 international jurisdictions through common and separate pools, setting the stage for the kind of late-card liquidity that can make Saturday's mandatory payout sequences the central betting opportunity of the meet.
