Emerald Downs — Pick Pony Condensed Report | June 14, 2026

Fast, dry surface expected all day. Inside posts and early speed have a structural edge in sprints. Route races (Race 6) are more forgiving of outside draws. Upgrade all K. Krigger mounts by one to two lengths. The Rosales-Castellanos combination and the Crowe, Wright, and McCanna barns are the most active and productive on the card.

Race 1 — 4:50 PM | Md 10000 | 1320f

Al's Big Boy (3) is the logical top choice with a favorable post and class edge over this maiden field. Flight Ryder (2) is the main secondary play, with the productive Rosales-Castellanos tandem from a rail-adjacent post. Rise Up And Go (7) at 5-1 is the best longshot if the expected speed duel sets up a late run.

Race 2 — 5:18 PM | Clm 5000n2l | 1320f

Mamarando (5) gets the nod as a pace-stalker with a capable rider in a co-favorite matchup. Princess Fave (4) is the key danger, with a ground-saving draw and a high-caliber jockey in Krigger for a sharp claiming trainer. Luna Linda (1) at 8-1 from the rail is the best value play if she gets a clean trip behind the speed.

Race 3 — 6:08 PM | Clm 5000 | 1210f

Can'tdealwithit (6) is the top choice despite the wide draw, backed by the meet's most productive trainer-jockey combination. Flyin By (4) from an ideal post is the primary danger, and Bakburner (2) at 4-1 from the inside-adjacent draw is a solid secondary. Bob's Vai (3) at 6-1 is worth a small exacta inclusion for overlay value.

Race 4 — 6:36 PM | Alw 24000b | 1210f

Da Smoke (1) from the rail with Krigger is the standout in this five-horse allowance field. Impassable (3) is the most attractive secondary choice if the co-favorites engage each other early. Fred Mo (5) at 12-1 is a small-ticket Baze special — the respected trainer rarely enters a horse in a five-horse field without reason.

Race 5 — 7:26 PM | Md Sp Wt | 1320f

Lead The Charge (6) is the morning line favorite and figures to control the pace from a middle post. Vino Viking (1) at 5-1 from the rail is the best value play in the race, with a genuine positional advantage and a quality rider. Final Out (3) at 6-1 with Krigger is a live longshot worthy of trifecta inclusion.

Race 6 — 7:54 PM | Alw 5000s | 1760f

Brother O' Brien (8) is the standout of the race and the strongest single on the card despite the outside post, with Krigger aboard for a sharp trainer at 2-1. No Ordinary Tiger (3) at 4-1 is an excellent secondary with a favorable draw for one of the Northwest's most respected conditioners. J. B. Books (6) at 5-1 is worth exacta inclusion as a Rosales-Castellanos stalker.

Race 7 — 8:49 PM | Clm 25000 | 1430f

Dirt Road Red (1) at 5-1 is the best value play on the entire card — Krigger from the inside post in the featured race for a competitive claiming trainer is a clear trainer-intent angle. Chuckanut Bay (4) is the morning line favorite and the most logical alternative. Elder Mack (3) and Moneyshot (2) at 4-1 each are legitimate factors from favorable draws.

Race 8 — 9:17 PM | Md 5000 | 1320f

Come Home (3) is the top choice to close the card, from a rail-adjacent post with the meet's most productive claiming trainer. Raven Rendezvous (7) at 4-1 and All About Babes (4) at 4-1 are the primary secondary plays. Honoring Autism (5) at 6-1 with Castellanos for the Rosales barn is the longshot to watch in exotics.
