Penn National — Friday, April 17, 2026 | Fast Track | 7 Races

Partly cloudy, upper 40s–mid-50s, light NW wind, no precipitation. Track is fast and speed-favoring; inside posts carry a structural edge in all sprint races (Races 3–7). Brandon Kulp dominates the overnight with four public choices paired with Angel Rodriguez. Watch tote action on dual stable entries from Kravets (Races 1, 4), Rathman (Race 2), and Gallimore/Albright (Race 3).

Race 1 — 1830f | OClm 12500 | 5:45 PM

Lookin At Roses (3) is the clear public choice at 1-1 in this five-horse route; use primarily on top of exotics. Curlington (2) at 2-1 is the main danger, with Styner (1) offering route-distance positional value at 3-1. Rob The Rich (4) at 6-1 is worth adding to Trifecta coverage if tote shows stable support from the Kravets barn.

Race 2 — 1760f | Clm 7500n1y | 6:14 PM

Wink Of An Eye (6) at 2-1 is the Rathman barn's primary choice and gets the stronger jockey, making it the top selection despite the outside post. Ade (2) at 3-1 and Ginger Girl (1) at 4-1 are well-placed from inside and are the logical Exacta partners. Honorable Chill (5) at 10-1 is Trifecta/Superfecta filler only.

Race 3 — 1320f | Clm 10000n2l | 6:43 PM

Craving Carbs (3) at 1-1 is the dominant choice in this five-horse sprint; best used on top of exotics rather than straight Win bets. Sandy Girl (2) at 2-1 is the Gallimore barn's preferred entry and is perfectly placed from Post 2, while Alyvia's Lil Girl (1) at 4-1 has the rail advantage and is worth including in all Trifecta tickets. Azami (4) at 4-1 with Ramos is a credible secondary option.

Race 4 — 1320f | Clm 4000n1y | 7:12 PM

G's Fireball (6) at 1-1 is the Kulp barn's choice but must overcome the outside post in a six-horse sprint at the bottom claiming level. La Lima (2) at 3-1 is ideally positioned from inside and is the primary danger, with My Boss Lady (3) at 5-1 offering fair Trifecta value. Style To Follow (1) at 6-1 from the rail is a potential overlay worth monitoring in the tote.

Race 5 — 1320f | OClm 40000 | 7:41 PM — BEST BET

Tootaloo Kangaroo (1) is the night's top selection — rail post, top trainer, top jockey, feature purse, co-2-1 morning line. Peridot Pendant (3) is the co-2-1 danger from mid-field, and Missy Sixtysix (2) at 4-1 from Post 2 is the card's best value play, perfectly positioned to benefit from any pace battle between the two favorites. You're The One (5) at 4-1 faces the outside post challenge and is the least attractive option in the field.

Race 6 — 1210f | Md 10000 | 8:10 PM

Desperate Dreams (3) at 1-1 is the dominant maiden favorite and best used on top of Exacta tickets. Wood Lily (4) at 2-1 is the clear Exacta partner, but Quiet City (1) at 4-1 from the rail with Rathman's barn in strong overnight form is the race's most compelling value and upset candidate. Bythebreeze (2) at 8-1 and Free Cash Flow (5) at 12-1 are Superfecta filler only.

Race 7 — 1320f | Clm 5000 | 8:39 PM

Arrogante (6) at 2-1 is the Kulp/Rodriguez headliner but faces a post-position challenge in an eight-horse sprint. Red Head Italian (7) at 4-1 and Blackdiamond Dinny (5) at 4-1 are the primary exotic targets, while Bugged Out (1) at 8-1 from the rail is the card's best longshot structure — any tote support below 8-1 makes a Win bet worth considering. Margo's Margarita (4) at 20-1 is Superfecta anchor only.
