Parx's card is listed for dirt, with turf racing unavailable during the current course rebuild. Recent racing was conducted over the dirt oval, and the surface should generally reward horses able to secure position early. Expect a modest advantage to inside-to-middle posts and front-runners or tactical stalkers, while wide runners and deep closers may need a genuinely strong pace to overcome lost ground.

Handicapper’s Edge

Give extra weight to horses with proven dirt form, tactical speed, and the ability to maintain position into the first turn. Avoid treating the expected inside-speed tendency as absolute: monitor early races for evidence of tiring inside paths or a developing outside-running pattern before committing heavily to later races.
